Selecting channel

In each Viewing Mode, Contrast, Brightness, Colour, Tint, Sharpness, Colour
Temperature, Vivid Colour, Ambient Sensor, Noise Reduction, MPEG Noise Reduction, Intelligent Frame Creation and 24p Smooth Film can be adjusted
and stored.
When in True Cinema or Custom mode, Advanced Settings can be adjusted additionally. The settings in True Cinema or Custom mode can be stored for each input.

Aspect Control Signal

Programmes usually contain an “Aspect Control Signal” (Widescreen signal, Control signal through SCART / HDMI terminal).
In Auto mode, aspect mode will appear in the top left of the screen if a Widescreen signal (WSS) or a Control signal through SCART (pin8) / HDMI terminal is found. The aspect will switch to the appropriate ratio.

Digital text service

Digital text services (MHEG) differ greatly from analogue teletext.
When you switch to a digital text service, the images you see can contain graphics and text, laid out and controlled in a manner decided by the broadcaster.

In all cases, it is possible to navigate the pages using buttons on the remote control, but because the commands available must apply to all manufacturers of digital equipment, some on-screen commands may not correspond exactly to the remote control buttons.

As soon as you switch to a digital channel with links to a digital text service, software is downloaded in the background over air to enable the teletext function. This means that when switching to a digital channel, you should wait for approximately 5 seconds before pressing TEXT - this will allow the software to be downloaded. While navigating digital text service, you will find there is a short delay when moving between pages while the page downloads. There is often a prompt shown on the page (for example “Loading”) to let you know that

■ Storing and cleaning the 3D Eyewear

scratch the eyewear. Shake off any dust from the cloth before use.
– The lens of the 3D Eyewear is easily broken. Be careful when cleaning
the lens.
●
Do not use benzene, thinner or wax on the 3D Eyewear, otherwise this may cause peeling of the paint.
●
Do not dunk the 3D Eyewear in liquid such as water.

3D Eyewear - Registration

■ First registration
Perform the first registration when the 3D Eyewear is used for the first time.

When connection with the registered TV fails, or when using with another TV, re-register the 3D Eyewear.

3D Eyewear - Replacing battery

When the battery is running low, the indicator lamp flashes 5 times on turning the 3D Eyewear on. In this case, early battery replacement is recommended.

Dispose of the old batteries as non-burnable rubbish, or in line with the waste disposal regulations in your local area.
1. Remove the battery cover using pen tip or screwdriver (minus -) etc.
2. Replace the battery (coin-shaped lithium battery CR2025)

If difficulty, remove it with the tip of the driver.

Viewing 3D

You can enjoy viewing 3D images with contents or programmes corresponding to the 3D effect by wearing the 3D Eyewear.

This TV supports Frame Sequential, Side by Side and Top and Bottom 3D formats.
– Frame Sequential is the 3D format that the images for the left and right
eyes are recorded with the high definition quality and alternately played back.
●
The 3D Eyewear must be worn to view 3D images. Perform the First Registration when the 3D Eyewear is used for the first time.

Media Player allows you to enjoy photo, video or music recorded on an SD Card and a USB Flash Memory.

Still pictures recorded with digital cameras will be displayed.

During operation, audio signals are output from DIGITAL AUDIO and HDMI2 (ARC function) terminals, however, no video signals are output. To use HDMI2 with ARC function, connect an amplifier that has ARC function and set to use theatre speakers.

Date shows the date on which the recording was made with the recording

Multi Shot 3D

This TV can create a 3D photo using a pair of photos in the SD Card and save it into the same SD Card.

This TV can also create a 3D photo from photos in the USB Flash Memory, but cannot save it.
●
This function is available with photos recorded on digital cameras.
●
Depending on the photos you select, they may not be suitable for creating 3D photos, or creating 3D photos may not be possible. In this case, it is recommended to take a photo (for L) and then move your camera to the right approx. 5 cm and take another photo (for R).
●
To view the created 3D photo with 3D effect, you need the 3D Eyewear.

3. Select two photos for L (left) and R (right) with (red)

You can only select photos of the same recorded date and the same pixels.
