Using the AC adaptor
Connect the AC adaptor supplied.
•The conliguralKin of the AC adaptor differs according
to ttie area.
•The unrt is in the standby conditinri wtien the AC
adaptor is connected. The prrnnary circuit is always
live' as long as the AC adaptor is connected to an
electrical oullet.
Using rechargeable batteries

Connect the AC adaptor

than it used to be, the batiery has reached the end of

(UM-3) alkaline batlariaa.
The procedure tor Inserting and removing dry-cell
batteries is identical to that for rechargeable bat
teries.

This indicator flashes cn and off when fhe batteries are
almost oui of power. Power is cut off completely a ahorl

Rscbargsable batteries: Recharge balteries.
Dry-ceir batteries: Replace batteries with new ones.
•The length of time Iha unit will continue to oparate beiween when the battery indicator starts flashing and
when fhe power is cut off differs depending on the
type of batteries used.
•The battery indicalor may not flash if rechargeable
batteries other than those designated by Panasonic
are used.

use ftie adaptor specially designad for this model.

Ba sure to obtain the car adaptor (SH-CDC9) for SLSX270 and SL-SX220, available as an optional acoessory.
The ear adaptor ear be used lo recharge Ihe unit's bat
teries while in the car.
