This document describes necessary service information for the mentioned models on the change of IC2002 & the modification
of circuit. This IC is a DC-DC converter for power supply voltage. Following sections include information on the IC type &
method to identity for service repair.
1.1. Change of IC type (IC2002)
This section describes the necessary information change of IC2002 on the Main P.C.B. Figure 1 below shows the location of
IC2002 (DC-DC Converter).
Purpose : IC2002 changed from discrete type (through hole) to surface mount type (Ref to Figure 1 & 2 for diagram).
Result: this leads to modification of Main circuit (power section) & removal of parts. (section 1.3 shows the main circuit modification.
Hence it is very important that the correct type of IC is used for the correct version of Main P.C.B.

1.2. Method to identity before repair
This section describes the method to ensure proper service parts replacement to be carried out accordingly.
1.2.1. To check Main P.C.B. version
· Below is the procedures to determine the version for Main P.C.B..
Step 1 : Disassemble the top cabinet.
Step 2 : Locate the part no. for Main P.C.B. at the bottom right corner.
Step 3 : Replace the IC (IC 2002) accordingly base on table 1 below.
