Native 16:9 525p Wide LCD Panel
The PT-L200U uses three 525p wide LCD panels
(native 16:9), one each for the red, green and
blue primary colors. These panels support 525p
progressive scan images, helping deliver sharp,
detailed images from DVD and broadcast satellite
digital TV sources. They also let the PT-L200U
deliver a 16:9 wide-screen image with no black
stripe at the top or bottom of the screen.
NOTE: The PT-L200U provides quasi-reproduction of 750p
and 1125i images.
High Brightness, High Contrast
The new 525p wide LCD panels combine with a
120-watt UHM lamp to deliver brightness of
700 ANSI lumens. Images are easy to view, even
in rooms that are not dark. Contrast is also a
high 700:1, resulting in deeper blacks and sharper, more detailed images. You get whiter whites,
blacker blacks, and vivid, natural colors in ever ything you watch, from nature programs to cartoons and animation.
Six Image Modes
The PT-L200U’s six image modes let you adjust
the picture quality using the remote control to
match the source. You get maximum viewing
enjoyment from everything you watch— movies,
sports, musical performances and more.
Digital Keystone Correction
A projector setup with vertical inclination
inevitably produces a trapezoidal-shaped picture.
Press the “KEYSTONE” button and the PT-L200U
compensates for image distortion. This makes
set-up super-easy.
Easy Projection with SD Memory Card
The PT-L200U features an SD Memory Card slot.
Simply insert a card containing images taken
with a digital still camera
1
or digital
video camera
2
, and you can project
them on a large screen. Enjoy fast,
easy slide shows without connecting
cables or other equipment.
1 – JPEG images compliant with DCF
(Design rule for Camera File system)
2–MPEG-4
Terminals for DVD, Video, PC and Game
Machines
Use the PT-L200U to project images from a DVD
or video player, a PC, game machines, and more.
The PT-L200U is equipped with a component
video input terminal, so you can enjoy the full
quality of images from high-end progressive scan
DVD players. A PC IN terminal lets you connect
PCs and game machines. Other terminals include
video, S-Video, and audio inputs.
