Because it has a bending durability of over 100,000 times (R20 mm R0.787 in), it is highly resistant to repeated bending and is optimal for mounting on moving robot hand.

Atmospheric side fiber cable is free-cut
The FV-BR1 photo-terminal can be mounted simply by tightening the fixing nut, and the leakage is still less than a very slight 1.3310

Long sensing range of between 20 to 300 mm
0.787 to 11.811 in allows glass substrates to be
sensed accurately from a distance.
This is a flat on type with a sensing range of 0 to 11 mm 0 to 0.433 in which is ideal for embedding into robot hands for confirming glass seating.
The FV-SV2 vacuum resistant side-view lens can also be used with FT-H30-M1V to allow it to be installed in places which were not easily possible before. In addition, the FV-LE1 vacuum resistant expansion lens can also be used to provide long range sensing of up to 3,200 mm 125.984 in.

Be careful when installing the thru-beam type fiber equipped with the lens, as the beam envelope becomes narrow and alignment is difficult. The sensing ranges are the values for red LED type. Please contact our office for details on sensing ranges for other types of amplifiers. In addition, the FX-301(P)(-HS) is not equipped with U-LG / STDF modes. The sensing range for the FX-301(P)-HS in H-SP mode also varies from that given, so contact our office for details. The FX-305(P) is not equipped with a S-D mode. The FX-311(P) are not equipped with U-LG / STDF / H-SP modes. The fiber cable length for the FT-H30-M1V is 1 m 3.281 ft. The sensing ranges in U-LG and LONG modes take into account the length of the FT-J8 atmospheric side fiber.

In addition, the FX-301(P)(-HS) are not equipped with U-LG and STDF modes. The sensing range for the FX-301(P)-HS in H-SP mode also varies from that given, so contact our office for details. The FX-305(P) are not equipped with a S-D mode. The FX-311(P) are not equipped with U-LG / STDF / H-SP modes. The sensing ranges for the FD-H30-KZ1V and FD-H30-L32V are the values for transparent glass (100100t 0.7 mm 3.9373.937t 0.028 in). The minimum sensing object size is the value for red LED type. The minimum sensing object sizes for thru-beam type fibers are the values under optimum condition. The optimum condition is the condition when the sensitivity is set so that the sensing output just changes to light incident operation in the object absent condition. The minimum sensing object sizes for reflective type fibers are the values at maximum sensitivity. Also, not that the corresponding setting distance is different from the rated sensing distance. The ambient temperature is the value in dry condition. In humid environment, the ambient temperature differs. (For a high humidity of 85 %RH, the ambient temperature is 0 to 40°C 32 to 104°F.)

Notes: 1) The attached O-ring must be mounted.

Mount the vacuum type fibers on the vacuum side of the FV-BR1 photo-terminals.
Notes: 1) The fixings rings of the vacuum type fibers must be tightened
securely. If not, the sensing range may decrease.
2) The tightening torque should be 0.58 Nm or less.

This product is not a safety sensor. Its use is not intended or designed to protect life and prevent body injury or property damage from dangerous parts of machinery. It is a normal object detection sensor.

Do not get grease from fingers on the fibers during installation. Do not bend the fiber cables by any more than the minimum bending radius of 18 mm 0.709 in. In addition, use a bending radius of 20 mm 0.787 in or more when installing to moving parts. However, FT-J8 can not be mounted on a movable part. Do not use the fiber at places having intense vibrations, as this can cause malfunction. Keep the fiber head surface and joint surface intact. If it is scratched or spoiled, the detectability will deteriorate. If the sensing surface gets dirty, wipe dirt or stains from the sensing faces with a soft cloth. (Do not use organic solvents.) Do not expose the fiber to any organic solvents. Do not use the fiber head in places where it may come in direct contact with water. A water drop on the fiber head deteriorates the sensing. Ensure that any strong extraneous light is not incident on the receiving face of the fiber head. Do not apply excessive tensile force to the fiber cable. Take care that the sensor is not directly exposed to fluorescent light from a rapid-starter lamp or a high frequency lighting device, as it may affect the sensing performance.
