CMS3.0/3.1 Installation Guide
-Install CMS Server / Client-
1. Create an upload user account as member of “Administrators
Right click to create new user as ”InsightFTPUser” as shown.
Select [Member Of] tab to create “Administrators” as shown.

Install IIS (Internet Information Service) / FTP Service & Reboot PC
[Control Panel]­[Add or Remove Programs]­[Add/Remove Windows Components]-
Select IIS and see Details. Click FTP service and press OK.
After installation, reboot PC.
3. Install SQL Server 2005 Express & Reboot
Select SQL Express from CD and install it.
In Authentication Mode, select “Mixed Mode” and enter password “insightadmin”.
After installation, reboot PC.
4. Enables TCP/IP in SQL server Configuration Manager
[Start]-[All Program]­[Microsoft SQL Server2005]­[Configuration Tools]­[SQL Server Configuration Manager]
Right click on the SQL Server Browser and select properties. Then, go to the Service tab. Go to “Start Mode” and make it automatic. Then go back and start the service.
Set “TCP/IP” and “Named Pipes” in “Protocols for SQL EXPRESS to be “Enabled”.
5. Install CMS3.0/3.1 Server and data base source / License Key
Install CMS3.0 Server and create data base source as shown.
To launch “License Application”, [Start]-[All Program]­[Insight Video Net]-[CMS]­[Server]-[License Application]
Click “Save validation to file”. Send “Validation file” to IVN to receive “License Key” to make “insight parser service” running.
After receiving “License Key” from IVN, submit license for submit “License Key” as shown.
6. Install CMS Client
Install CMS Client. In DB Server Config,
select “Name” and write in “Full Computer Name\SQL EXPESS” and press Add
Server. Delete [local].
8. Enables “Insight Parser Service” “running” and confirm others
Open Insight Watchdog and enables Parser “running and confirm others as well.
9. FTP Home Directory and setting
[Control Panel]­[Adminstrative Tools]­[Computer Management]-
Select [Services and Applications]
-[IIS]-[FTP sites] Right click to see “Default
FTP Site Properties” and select “Home Directory “ tab.
Make “Local Path” as shown to select three “Read” “Write” “Log visits”
Select “Security Accounts” and uncheck “Allow Anonymous Connections”
