The AJ-D410A is a high-performance digital camera/recorder that delivers the high quality, versatility, reliability and productivity that users expect from a DVCPRO digital component product. Utilizing long-life metal particle tape, it is ideally suited for newsgathering, programme production, event video and other professional and industrial applications. The VTR section provides a full 184 minutes of broadcast-quality recording on a DVCPRO L cassette. The camera section delivers superb images with excellent horizontal resolution, and invaluable features like 6 Scene Memories and 3-mode Auto Iris settings that assure easy, accurate shooting. The AJ-D410A also accommodates a slot-in wireless receiver. With all these features plus compact size and lightweight (5 kg in full operating condition), the AJ-D410A gives you both outstanding performance and mobility.
184 Minutes of Recording Time
The AJ-D410A offers extended-play convenience, recording a full 184 minutes on a single DVCPRO L cassette. Both picture and sound are broadcast quality with DVCPRO recording and superb 2-channel digital audio with 16-bit, 48-kHz sampling.
800 Lines of Horizontal Resolution
Equipped with 1/2-inch 480,000-pixel IT (Interline Transfer) CCDs, the AJ-D410A provides outstanding picture quality, with 800 lines of horizontal resolution, S/N ratio of 60 dB, and very low smear.
Accepts a Wide Range of Standard 1/2” Lenses
The industry-standard 1/2-inch bayonet mount readily accommodates the many lenses that are available on the market. For superior ease of use, the AJ-D410A features automatic white shading correction, which adjusts the camera to match the lens.
High-Quality Digital Processing
Digital circuitry enables a host of creative image-processing functions, including Black Stretch/Press, Auto White Knee, Variable Gamma, Detail-optimized Skin Detail, and Colour .
Six User Scene Files
This memory function enables rapid setup, by letting you store and instantly retrieve specific camera settings. Five common setup conditions are factory stored for quick and easy use, and you can optimize
these to meet your most encountered shooting situations. Additionally, one user set memory is available for common user application. These setting in combination with the Scene file memories allow for quick recall of your favorite settings.
Auto Iris with Backlighting Mode and Spotlight Mode
The 3-mode Auto Iris feature automatically adjusts the iris to match lighting conditions. Select from BACK L to compensation for backlight, STD for standard operation, and SPOT L to ignore all but the centre for optimum exposures.
Shock-less Gain and Shock-less AWB Selector
You can choose one of three speeds (high/mid/low) to switch between the available gain settings (0/+3/+6/+9/ +12/+15/+18/+21/+24/+30/+36 dB) and also between a wide range of freely allocated gain selector settings, Auto White Balance preset and user-set values (A/B). The shock-less function ensures seamless switching, preventing any sudden changes in the image. This lets you quickly adapt to ambient lighting changes while recording.
