Electric Heated Throw
Quick Start Guide
Before Use
Read and follow all instructions in this quick start guide, even if you feel that you
are familiar with the product. Keep a copy handy for future reference. The
energy rating of this product is based on specific loading tests, and normal use
may draw significantly less power.
When using any electrical products, basic safety precautions must be followed.
PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING PRODUCT!
Warnings
• To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons or property:
• Read all instructions before using the throw, and keep a copy handy for
future reference.
• Use only with a plug that matches the voltage rating of the throw.
• Do not immerse the throw in liquids, or allow running water onto it during
use as this could create an electrical hazard.
• Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Switch off at the
power supply and unplug immediately.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the
appliance has malfunctioned or been damaged in any matter. Contact the
Kogan.com support team for advice.
• Do not operate the throw with wet hands or a wet body.
• This appliance is not designed for outdoor use.
• Do not allow the cord to come into contact with the heated surface during
use.
• All covers and fabrics must be in place to prevent direct access to the
heating elements during use.

Operation Guide
Connecting the Controller
The throw has a detachable controller and a waterproof element that makes
your throw machine washable. Please ensure the electric throw controller is in
the OFF position and not connected to the power supply before washing it.
Ensure that the locking clip engages with the small plastic pin on the plug.
Disconnecting the Controller
The socket has a locking clip that engages with a small pin on the plug. With the
controller set to the OFF position and the power plug removed from the power
socket, push the clip out to release the socket pin and withdraw the connector
plug by pulling it away from the socket.
Controller Usage
• Switch the power button to ON, at which point the indicator light will
illuminate.
• Press the 'Temp' button to activate the thermostat display, then cycle
through the different available heat settings.
• Press the 'Time' button to set the timer (timer range can be from 1 hour to
10 hours).
• Switch the power button to OFF, at which point the indicator light will go
out.
• This product has a memory function. Please press the 'Cancel' button to
clear the settings from the last time the throw was used.
• This product is automatically temperature controlled. It will fast heat when
powered on, then it will automatically control the temperature after 15
minutes.
