Read these instructions carefully for correct operation of your new table-top fire pit. Our

Technology & Gel Fuel
Swirl-Fire Collection of fire pits run on clean-burning gel fuel. By simply adding our
Venturi Flame top, a stunning swirling fire appears. No valves, no fans, no problems!
IMPORTANT STEPS TO FOLLOW DURING SET-UP
1. Remove all packaging items including any residual packaging on the glass using glass
cleaner and paper towels.
2. Place gel fire container on a secure, stable table or platform
3. Secure to desired surface using one of the following methods.
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN FASTENERS
For wood and other soft surfaces, insert a long screw through base and into surface.
In sert 1 / 8” b olt t h rough bas e and sur f ace, secu r e wit h nut and/ or w a sher from bot t om.
If installing on a table with an open umbrella hole, a toggle bolt drywall anchor can be used.
Insert bolt through hole in base and umbrella hole, screw on anchor. If anchor is not wide
enough, use a large washer on bottom side of table.
4. To ease installation of glass cylinder, wet a cotton swab and wipe entire outside of silicone ring
before gently sliding cylinder onto base. (see Figure 1.2)
5. Remove the label from the gel fuel can.
6. Remove the can lid and place the can in the gel fire container.
7. Ignite the gel fuel with a wand lighter or long match and allow the gel to burn for 5-10
seconds (see Figure 1.3).
8. Place the turbo disc assembly (glass cylinder and base) on top of the base
and make sure it is securely in position (see Figure 1.4).

Extinguish Flame Options
Allow to Burn out
Allow to burn until the gel fuel is gone and flame is out (1 – 1 1/2 hours).
To Extinguish Flame
Use gel snuffer with extended handle to extinguish.
After extinguishing, wait at least 10 minutes before removing top assembly and replacing can lid securely.
CAUTION
Allow time for the can to cool before touching. Can will be HOT!
Always replace the gel can lid when not in use.
Re-lighting Gel: Make sure the gel can has cooled down and then gently stir gel. The gel will form a
film on the top over time and will not burn properly unless stirred prior to re-lighting.
WARNING AND SAFETY TIPS DURING OPERATION
Always have a Fire Extinguisher nearby when any flame is present.
Never pour additional fuel into burning or hot gel can. This could cause serious injury.
Do Not touch glass when flame is burning or shortly after extinguishing.
Allow a minimum of ten minutes for glass to cool before handling.
Never move the product while burning
Never leave children unattended near unit during operation.
Hairline heat-stress cracks may appear over time. These are normal and do not effect safety of
the unit. If cracking is severe or deep, replacement is required.
Indoor Operation:
generates about 9,000 BTU’s per hour. It generates water vapor and carbon dioxide. If the product is
operated in a small room or confined space, it may be necessary to open a window while operating to
reduce humidity and manage room temperature.
