When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed
including the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS, PRODUCT LABELS AND WARNINGS BEFORE USING
THE TOASTER OVEN.
1. DO NOT touch hot surfaces . Always use oven mitts when handling hot materials
and allow metal parts to cool before cleaning. Allow the unit to cool thoroughly before
putting in or taking off parts. Always use the oven handles when moving the unit.
2. When the unit is not in use and before cleaning, unplug the oven from the wall outlet.
Note: Make sure the oven is turned off before unplugging.
3. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the appliance in water or
any other liquids.
4. DO NOT operate this or any appliance with a frayed or damaged cord or plug or
after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or has been damaged in any manner.
Take this appliance only to the nearest Authorized Service Center for examination,
repair or adjustment.
5. DO NOT use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer; they may cause
re, electric shock or personal injury.
6. DO NOT use outdoors or for commercial purposes.
7. DO NOT use this appliance for other than its intended use.
8. DO NOT let the cord dangle over the edge of a tabletop or countertop or touch hot
surfaces.
9. DO NOT place the appliance near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
10. Extreme caution should be used when using containers constructed of material other
than metal or glass.
11. DO NOT store any items on top of the appliance when in operation. A re may occur
if the toaster oven is covered or touching ammable materials, including curtains,
draperies, walls, etc., when in operation.
12. When using the oven, pull the unit out a minimum of 15 cm (6 inches) away from
walls on all sides. Remove cords from other products from behind the oven.
13. DO NOT store any materials, other than manufacturer’s recommended accessories,
in this unit when not in use.
14. DO NOT place any ammable materials in oven, such as paper, cardboard, plastic or any materials that may catch re or melt.
15. DO NOT cover the oven with metal foil. This will cause overheating of the appliance.

16. The door or the outer surface may get hot when the appliance is operating.
17. Oversized foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in the appliance as they may
create a re or risk of electrical shock.
18. DO NOT clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad and touch
electrical parts involving a risk of electrical shock.
19. When broiling, use extreme caution when removing tray or disposing of hot grease.
20. The door and the outer surface may get hot when appliance is used.
21. To turn this appliance off, return all controls to the off “O” position.
22. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
23. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children, or
incapacitated individuals.
24. The instructions shall state that appliances are not intended to be operated by
means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
25. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
staff kitchen areas in shops, ofces and other working environments, farm houses,
motels and other residential type environments.

SHORT POWER SUPPLY CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord may be used if care is
exercised in its use. If an extension cord is used, the electrical rating of the cord must be
at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. The extension cord should be
arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on
by children or tripped over unintentionally.

LEARNING ABOUT YOUR TOASTER OVEN
1. Temperature Selector Knob – Adjust the thermostat dial to the desired temperature
(See Figure 1).
2. Function Selector Knob – Adjust the dial to select cooking function (See Figure 2).
3. Timer Selector Knob – Adjust the dial to the desired cooking time (See Figure 3).
4. Power Light – Indicates that oven is plugged in and that the timer is set to begin warming.
5. Crumb Tray – Collects crumbs or fallen food particles. Pulls out for easy cleaning.
6. Glass Door – Lets you to see food while cooking.
7. Easy Clean Interior Walls – Allows for easy cleaning.
8. Baking Tray – Use for all your baking needs.
9. Two Wire Racks and Dual Rack Positions – For added cooking versatility.
11. Rotisserie Handle - For easy removal of Rotisserie Spit from the toaster oven.
12. Grill/Baking Tray Handle - For easy removal of baking tray/grill from the toaster oven.
13. Interior Light – Helps with monitoring food while cooking.

PREPARING TO USE YOUR TOASTER OVEN
FOR THE FIRST TIME
If you are using your toaster oven for the rst time, please be sure to:
• Remove any stickers from the surface of the oven.
• Open oven door and remove all printed documents and paper from inside the toaster oven.
• Clean the rack, tray, and tray with hot water, a small amount of dishwashing liquid and a
nonabrasive sponge or cleaning pad.
• DONOTIMMERSETHEBODYOFTHEUNITINWATER.
• Dry the unit thoroughly before using.
• Select a location for the toaster oven. The location should be in an open area on a at counter
where the plug will reach an outlet.
• Plug the toaster oven into the appropriate electrical outlet.
The heating elements are designed to work efciently and maintain a precise temperature.
You may not see the elements glowing, however they are working properly.
PLEASE NOTE – It is recommended that the toaster oven heat at 230°C for approximately
15 minutes to eliminate any manufacturing residue that may remain after shipping.
