INTRODUCTION

Thank you for selecting the Oregon ScientificTM Voice
Activated RF Projection Clock. This device is designed to
give you many years of reliable service, including the
following conveniences:

• Radio-controlled calendar clock

• Optional wireless vibration alarm with 8-minute snooze
function (Wake-Up Vibrating Alarm VR101 can be
purchased separately)

• Sleep function with 6 soothing sounds

• 5 alarm melodies with 2 volume levels

• 2-minute dual alarm with 8-minute snooze function

• Time / alarm status projection unit

• Talking clock – can be trained to tell you the time, alarm
and temperature status, turn the alarm ON / OFF and
the projector ON, when it hears your personal voice
command

• Indoor temperature display

• Time zone hour offset function

• Backlight for clock

NOTE The RM998PS and RM998PG models offer different

languages for the talking clock function:

• RM998PS – English, Italian, French and Spanish

• RM998PG – English, Italian, French and German

GETTING STARTED

BATTERIES

Batteries are supplied with this product:

• 3 x UM-4 / AAA 1.5V batteries

The optional wake-up vibration alarm VR101 (not included
in the package) uses:

• 2 x UM-3 / AA 1.5V batteries

NOTE It is recommended that you use alkaline batteries

with this product for longer performance.

Insert batteries before first use, matching the polarity (+ and

-) as shown below. Press RESET after each battery change.

NOTE Do not use rechargeable batteries with this product.

BATTERY ICON MEANING

Batteries are low, or there are no
batteries installed and only the
adaptor is connected

The LED indicator on the vibration alarm will flash red when
the batteries are low.

AC ADAPTOR

The batteries serve as a back-up power supply. To operate
the voice activated function and for continuous use of the
projector, install the AC adaptor at the base of the unit as
shown below.

NOTE To help conserve energy, turn the PROJECTION

ON switch to OFF when you do not wish to use it.

ABOUT RADIO RECEPTION

This clock can automatically synchronize the date and time
with official time-keeping organizations in Frankfurt
(Germany) and Rugby (England). The unit can pick up a
Radio Frequency (RF) signal when it is within 1500 km (932
miles) of these locations.

To select the most suitable radio signal for your location,
slide the UK / EU switch to the appropriate setting. Press

RESET whenever you change the selected setting.

NOTE For best results, place the clock away from metal or

electrical objects, and near a window with a clear view to
the sky.

TURN THE RADIO RECEPTION ON / OFF

To turn the radio reception ON:

• Press and hold for 2 seconds.

• The RF reception icon will appear and flash on the display
to indicate it is searching for the RF signal.

Once batteries have been installed in the clock, the reception
icon will flash to indicate it is searching for a signal.

When the reception signal has been received the reception
icon will show the signal strength by displaying between 0
and 3 waves:

STRONG SIGNAL NO SIGNAL

To turn the radio reception OFF:

• Press and hold for 2 seconds.

• The RF reception icon will disappear from the display.

CLOCK / CALENDAR

CLOCK / CALENDAR DISPLAY

Press the CLOCK button to toggle between 3 types of
display:

TIME OFFSET

SET CLOCK / CALENDAR

Before you can manually set the clock and calendar, you
must specify the current time zone you live in and the time
format (12- or 24-hour) as follows:

1. Press and hold CLOCK for 2 seconds. The time zone

offset hour digits will flash. When an offset hour has been
set (e.g. +1, the time displayed will be the RF clock time
plus 1 hour).

2. Press or to change the setting.

3. Press CLOCK to confirm the setting and move onto the

next one.

4. The settings appear in the following order: Time zone
hour offset, 12 / 24 hour format, hour, minute, year,
MM / DD or DD / MM format, month, day and language
for day of the week and talking clock.

5. Press CLOCK or ALARM to exit the Clock Setting Mode.

NOTE The following talking clock languages are available

with these models:

• RM998PS – English, Italian, French and Spanish.

• RM998PG – English, Italian, French and German.

BACKLIGHT

Press SNOOZE / LIGHT to activate the backlight for 8
seconds.

TEMPERATURE

The clock displays the current indoor temperature. To choose
between °C / °F, press the
you want.

ALARM

ALARM DISPLAY AND SOUND

This product has two daily alarms that can be set to go off
at the same time every day. You can choose to be woken
up by a melody, beeping or talking alarm sound and / or
vibration. See the table below for the alarm sound icon and
its meaning:

SET THE ALARM(S)

1. Press and hold ALARM for 2 seconds.

2. Alarm 1 will start flashing. Use or to toggle
between alarm 1 and 2.

3. Press ALARM to select alarm 1 or 2. The hour will start
flashing.

4. Press or to change the setting.

5. Press ALARM to confirm the setting and move onto the
next one.

6. The settings appear in the following order: Hour, minute,
alarm type, alarm sound and alarm volume (if melody
alarm has been selected).

7. The daily alarm is automatically turned on after setting.

ACTIVATE / DEACTIVATE THE ALARM(S)

• Press the ALARM button to toggle between alarm 1 and
alarm 2 ON / OFF.

• When the alarm sound icons appear on the display the
alarm is activated. When the icons do not appear the
alarm is deactivated.

SNOOZE / TURNING THE ALARM OFF

When activated, the alarm icon flashes, the backlight and
projector turn on for 8 seconds and the alarm sounds for 2
minutes if no key is pressed.

To silence the alarm:

• Press SNOOZE / LIGHT to silence it for 8 minutes. The

alarm 1 or alarm 2 icon will flash to show snooze is
enabled.

OR

• Press any key except SNOOZE / LIGHT to mute the alarm

and activate it again in 24 hours.

SLEEP TIMER / SOOTHING SOUND

You can choose 1 of 6 soothing sounds to play for a set
time while you fall asleep:

• Bird

•Wind

• River

• Raindrop

• Waterfall

• Ocean Wave

To turn the sleep timer ON:

1. Press Sound / on / off once, this will automatically

activate the last setting you used.

If you want to change the time, sound or volume, continue
as follows:

2. Press or to change the soothing sound volume.

3. Press Sound / on / off to confirm.

4. Press and hold Sound / on / off for 2 seconds to
enter setting mode.

5. Press or to change the soothing sound.

6. Press Sound / on / off to confirm.

7. Press or to set the sleep timer to turn off after 120
90 60 30 15 or 0 minutes. When 0 minutes is
selected the soothing sound will automatically turn off
after a few seconds.

8. Press Sound / on / off to confirm the setting. SOUND
will flash on the LCD display to indicate that the sleep
timer is activated.

TALKING CLOCK

The talking clock can learn to turn the projector on, the
alarm(s) on or off, and tell you the time, temperature and
alarm status by listening to simple commands given by you.
It can recognize commands from up to 2 users. The talking
clock voice prompts take you through how to train and use
this feature.

TRAIN THE TALKING CLOCK

To use the talking clock you need to train it to recognise
your commands. To do this, follow the key steps below and
listen to the clock’s voice prompts:

NOTE When the talking clock is waiting for your voice

commands, the icon will flash to show it is waiting.

NOTE If the talking clock gets no response to its voice

prompts after approx. 1 min, it will sound a beep and go into
Standby Mode. To activate it, simply say your password.

The talking clock language can be changed in the Clock
Setting Mode, see the “Set Clock / Calendar” section for
further information.

TALKING CLOCK VOLUME

To change the talking clock volume, press or when the
voice-activated function is on.

ERASE THE TALKING CLOCK TRAINED VOICE
COMMANDS

1. Turn the AC adaptor power OFF and then ON again, or

press RESET.

2. Press and hold Sound / on / off and the screen below

will appear.

3. Press TALK to erase the trained voice commands. The

“IIII” icon will stop moving when the memory has been
erased.OCK

/ CALENDAR

PROJECTION UNIT

The projection unit can display both time and alarm status.
To use this feature:

• Slide the PROJECTION switch to ON to activate

continuous projection. However, this function will not work

unless the AC / DC adaptor is used.

• Adjust the FOCUS knob to make the image clearer.

• Adjust the IMAGE ROTATION knob to rotate the image
clockwise or anti-clockwise.

• Manually tilt the projection unit to position the image or
press the 180
and turn it upside down.

NOTE You can also press the SNOOZE / LIGHT button to

project the time and alarm status for 8 seconds.

WAKE-UP VIBRATING ALARM – VR101
(OPTIONAL)

The vibrating alarm receives a signal from the clock and
performs a wake-up function by vibrating. It is designed to
go under your pillow.

The device has a range of roughly 15 metres and has an
LED meter to show data transmission and battery level.

The switch within the vibrating alarm can adjust to alarm 1
or alarm 2, or both. Simply select the alarm time on the
clock unit when you want the vibrating alarm to wake you
up.

NOTE The vibrating alarm is powered by 2 x UM-3 / AA

1.5V batteries (included). It is also compatible with

rechargeable batteries (not included).

Diese Uhr kann automatisch das Datum und die Zeit mit
den offiziellen Zeitsendern in Frankfurt (Deutschland) und
Rugby (England) synchronisieren. Innerhalb eines
Umkreises von 1500 km (932 Meilen) zu diesen Standorten,
kann die Einheit ein Funksignal empfangen.

Zur Auswahl des am besten geeigneten Funksignals für
Ihren Standort, schieben Sie den Schalter EU / UK in die
entsprechende Position. Drücken Sie nach jeder Änderung
dieser Einstellung RESET.

HINWEIS Beste Ergebnisse erzielen Sie, wenn Sie die

Uhr nie in der Nähe von Metall- oder Elektrogegenständen,
sondern nahe einem Fenster mit ungestörter Sicht zum
Himmel aufstellen.

EIN-/AUSSCHALTEN DES FUNKEMPFANGS

Um den Funkempfang EINZUSCHALTEN:

• Drücken und halten Sie 2 Sekunden lang die Taste .

• Das Funkempfangssymbol erscheint und blinkt in der
Anzeige; dies zeigt die Funksignalsuche an.

Nachdem die Batterien in die Uhr eingesetzt worden sind,
blinkt das Empfangssymbol; dies zeigt die Signalsuche an.

Wenn ein Signal empfangen wird, zeigt das
Empfangssymbol die Signalstärke durch die Darstellung von
0 bis 3 Wellen an:

Bevor Sie die Uhr und den Kalender manuell einstellen
können, müssen Sie die aktuelle Zeitzone, in der Sie sich
befinden sowie das Zeitformat (12 oder 24 Stunden) wie
folgt einstellen:

1. Drücken und halten Sie 2 Sekunden lang CLOCK. Die

Zahlen der Zeitzonendifferenz blinken. Nach erfolger
Einstellung einer Differenzstunde (z.B. +1), ist die
dargestellte Zeit die Funkuhrzeit plus 1 Stunde.

• Zur Umschaltung zwischen Alarm 1 und 2 EIN/AUS
drücken Sie die Taste ALARM.

• Wenn das Alarmton-Symbol in der Anzeige dargestellt
wird, ist der Alarm aktiviert. Werden keine Symbole
dargestellt, so ist der Alarm deaktiviert.

SCHLUMMERN / ABSCHALTEN DES ALARMS

Wenn diese Funktion aktiviert ist, blinkt das Alarmsymbol,
die Hintergrundbeleuchtung und der Projektor schalten sich
8 Sekunden lang ein und wenn keine Taste gedrückt wird,
ertönt der Weckton 2 Minuten lang.

Um den Alarm abzuschalten:

• Um den Alarm für 8 Minuten abzuschalten drücken Sie
SNOOZE / LIGHT. Die Alarmsymbole Alarm 1 oder Alarm

2 blinken und zeigen an, dass die Schlummerfunktion
aktiviert ist.

ODER

• Drücken Sie zur Stummschaltung des Alarms und
Reaktivierung in 24 Stunden eine beliebige Taste außer

SNOOZE / LIGHT.

EINSCHLAFFUNKTION / BERUHIGENDER KLANG

Während des Einschlafens können Sie zwischen 1 und 6
beruhigenden Klängen während einer voreingestellten Zeit
wählen:

• Vogel

•Wind

• Fluss

• Regentropfen

• Wasserfall

• Meereswelle

Zum EINSCHALTEN der Einschlaffunktion:

1. Wenn Sie die Taste SOUND ON/ OFF einmal drücken,
werden automatisch Ihre bereits vorgenommen

Wenn Sie die Dauer, den Klang oder die Lautstärke
verändern möchten, fahren Sie wie folgt fort:

8. Drücken Sie zur Bestätigung der Einstellung. Sound /
on / off. An der LCD-Anzeige blinkt SOUND und zeigt
an, dass die Einschlaffunktion aktiviert wurde.

SPRECHENDE UHR

Die sprechende Uhr kann lernen, den Projektor
einzuschalten, den oder die Alarme ein- oder auszuschalten
und Ihnen die Zeit, die Raumtemperatur und den Alarmstatus
anzusagen, in dem sie einfache Befehle hört, die Sie
gegeben haben. Sie kann die Befehle von bis zu 2 Benutzern
erkennen. Die Sprachaufforderungen der sprechenden Uhr
führen Sie durch das Training und die Benutzung dieser
Funktion.

DAS TRAINING DER SPRECHENDEN UHR

Damit Sie die sprechende Uhr benutzen können, müssen
Sie sie so trainieren, dass sie Ihre Befehle erkennt. Befolgen
Sie die folgenden Schlüsselschritte und hören Sie auf die
Sprachaufforderungen der Uhr:

PROJEKTIONSEINHEIT

Die Projektionseinheit kann sowohl die Zeit als auch den
Alarmstatus darstellen. Zur Verwendung dieser Funktion:

• Schieben Sie den Schalter PROJECTION auf ON, um

die kontinuierleiche Projektion zu aktivieren. Diese
Funktion steht jedoch nur mit AC / DC angeschlossenem
Netzadapter zur Verfügung.

• Stellen Sie das Bild über die Taste FOCUS heller.

• Drehen Sie das Bild mit der Taste IMAGE ROTATION im

oder gegen den Uhrzeigersinn.

• Neigen Sie die Projektionseinheit manuell, um das Bild

zu positionieren oder drücken Sie die Taste 180
ROTATION, um das Bild umzukehren und es auf den
Kopf zu stellen.

HINWEIS Zur Projektion von Uhrzeit und Alarmstatus für

die Dauer von 8 Sekunden können Sie auch die Taste

SNOOZE / LIGHT drücken.

VIBRATIONS-WECKALARM - VR101
(OPTIONAL)

Der Vibrationsalarm erhält ein Signal von der Uhr und führt
über die Weckfunktion die Vibration aus. Sie können ihnz.
B. unter Ihr Kopfkissen legen.

Das Gerät hat eine Reichweite von ca. 15 Meter und eine
LED-Messvorrichtung, die die Datenübertragung und den
Batterieladezustand anzeigt.

Der Schalter am Vibrationsalarm kann auf Alarm 1 oder 2
oder beide eingestellt werden. Wählen Sie einfach die
Weckzeit an der Uhr, wenn Sie durch den Vibrationsalarm
geweckt werden möchten.

HINWEIS Der Vibrationsalarm wird von 2 x LR6 (AA) 1,5 V

Alkali-Batterien (im Lieferumfang enthalten) betrieben. Er
ist auch mit wieder aufladbaren Batterien kompatibel (nicht
im Lieferumfang enthalten).

INTRODUCCIÓN

Gracias por su confianza al adquirir el reloj de radio
frecuencia activado por voz y con proyección, de Oregon
ScientificTM. Este producto ha sido diseñado para
proporcionarle muchos años de servicio fiable, incluyendo
las siguientes prestaciones:

• Reloj calendario controlado por radio.

• Alarma vibratoria opcional inalámbrica con función
snooze de 8 minutos (el despertador vibratorio VR101
puede adquirirse por separado)

• Función auto-apagado con 6 sonidos relajantes

• 5 melodías de alarma con dos niveles de volumen

• Alarma dual de 2 minutos con función snooze de 8
minutos

• Unidad de proyección de la hora y del estado de la alarma

• Funciones de voz – puede ser entrenado para decirle la
hora, el estado de la alarma y la temperatura, activar o
desactivar la alarma, y activar el proyector con un

PREPARACIÓN DEL RELOJ

PILAS

La pilas se suministran con el reloj:

• 3 pilas UM-4 / AAA 1,5 V
El despertador vibrador opcional VR101 (no incluido con el

reloj) utiliza:

• 2 pilas Um-3 / AA 1,5 V

NOTA Para obtener un mayor tiempo de funcionamiento

se recomienda el uso de pilas alcalinas.

Coloque las pilas antes de utilizar el reloj por primera vez,
haciendo coincidir los símbolos de polaridad (+ y - ) como
se muestra abajo. Pulse RESET después de cada cambio
de pilas.

NOTA No utilice pilas recargables con este producto.

En el despertador vibrador el indicador LED parpadeará en
rojo cuando las pilas tengan poca carga.

ADAPTADOR DE RED CA

Las pilas se utilizan como alimentación de respaldo. Para
utilizar las funciones de voz o para tener una proyección
continua es necesario conectar el adaptador CA en la base
de la unidad, tal como se muestra abajo.

NOTA Para ahorrar energía, ponga el interruptor

PROYECCIÓN en la posición OFF cuando no vaya a utilizar
esta funcionalidad.

ACERCA DE LA RECEPCIÓN DE RADIO

Este reloj puede sincronizar automáticamente la fecha y la
hora con organizaciones oficiales de servicio horario en
Frankfurt (Alemania) y en Rugby (Inglaterra). La unidad
puede captar la señal siempre que esté a una distancia
máxima de 1.500 km (932 millas) de estas localidades.

Desplace el conmutador UK / EU a la posición adecuada
para seleccionar la señal más adecuada a su localidad.
Pulse RESET siempre que cambie de posición el
conmutador.

NOTA Para una recepción óptima, coloque el reloj apartado

de objetos metálicos, y cerca de una ventana con espacio
libre.

ACTIVE LA RECEPCION DE RADIO

Para activar la recepción de la señal de radio:

• Mantenga pulsado el botón durante 2 segundos.

• En la pantalla del reloj aparecerá parpadeando el icono
de recepción de RF para indicar que está buscando la
señal de sincronización horaria.

Una vez que se instalen las pilas en el reloj, el icono de
recepción de RF parpadeará indicando que está buscando
la señal de sincronización horaria.

Cuando se recibe la señal, el icono de recepción indica si
la recepción es más o menos buena mediante 1 a 3
segmentos de onda, de la siguiente manera:

Para desactivar la recepción de la señal de radio:

• Mantenga pulsado el botón durante 2 segundos.

• El icono de recepción de RF desaparecerá de la pantalla.

RELOJ / CALENDARIO

VISUALIZACIÓN DEL RELOJ / CALENDARIO

Pulse el botón CLOCK para cambiar entre los tres tipos de
visualización:

AJUSTE DEL RELOJ / CALENDARIO

Antes de ajustar manualmente el reloj y el calendario, deberá
especificar el huso horario en el que se encuentra y el
formato de hora que desea (12 o 24 horas). Proceda de la
siguiente manera:

1. Mantenga pulsado el botón CLOCK durante 2 segundos.

Los dígitos de horas de desplazamiento de zona horaria
parpadearán. Al ajustar una hora, la hora visualizada por
el reloj mostrará el tiempo señalado por la señal de radio
sumándole las horas de desplazamiento horario. Así, si
el valor del desplazamiento horario es +1, el reloj indicará
la hora correspondiente a la señal de radio + 1 hora.

2. Pulse o para ajustar el valor.

3. Pulse CLOCK para confirmar el ajuste y pasar al siguiente
ajuste.

4. Los ajustes aparecen el siguiente orden: Desplazamiento
de zona horaria, formato 12/24 horas, horas, minutos,
año, formato MM / DD o DD / MM, mes, día e idioma
para el día de la semana y para las funciones de voz.

5. Pulse CLOCK o ALARMA para salir del modo de ajuste.

NOTA Los idiomas disponibles para los diversos modelos

son los siguientes:

• RM998PS – Inglés, Italiano, Francés y Español

• RM998PG – Inglés, Italiano, Francés y Alemán

ALARMA

VISUALIZACIÓN Y SONIDO DE ALARMA

Este reloj tiene dos alarmas diarias que pueden estar
simultáneamente activas cada día. Puede elegir que le
despierte una melodía, un pitido, la voz del reloj, o el
despertador vibrador. La siguiente tabla muestra las
diversas opciones y el icono con que se representa en cada
caso la programación de la alarma:

ILUMINACIÓN DE LA PANTALLA

Pulse SNOOZE / LIGHT para que se active la iluminación
de la pantalla durante 8 segundos.

TEMPERATURA

El reloj visualiza la temperatura interior actual. Para
seleccionar

°C o °F pulse el botón °C / °F.

Alarma de melodía y de vibración seleccionadas

AJUSTE DE ALARMA(S)

1. Pulse ALARMA durante 2 segundos.

2. La Alarma 1 empezará a parpadear. Pulse or para
cambiar entre alarma 1 y alarma 2.

3. Pulse ALARMA para seleccionar la alarma 1 o 2 que

está parpadeando. Los dígitos de hora empezarán a
parpadear.

4. Pulse o para modificar la hora.

5. Pulse ALARMA para confirmar el ajuste de horas y pasar

a ajustar los minutos.

6. El ajuste se hace en el siguiente orden: Horas, minutos,
tipo de alarma, sonido de alarma y volumen de alarma
(en el caso de que se haya seleccionado melodía).

7. Una vez realizado el ajuste, la alarma se activará
automáticamente.

ACTIVAR / DESACTIVAR LA(S) ALARMA(S)

• Pulse ALARMA para cambiar entre alarma 1 y alarma 2
ON / OFF.

• Cuando el icono del sonido de la alarma aparece en la
pantalla, la alarma está activa. Cuando no se muestra
icono, la alarma está desactivada.

SNOOZE / APAGAR LA ALARMA

Cuando se activa la alarma, el icono de alarma parpadea,
la luz de la pantalla y el proyector se encienden durante 8
segundos, y la alarma suena durante 2 minutos a menos
que se pulse antes algún botón.

Para silenciar la alarma:

• Pulse SNOOZE / LUZ para silenciar la alarma durante 8
minutos. El icono de alarma 1 o alarma 2 parpadeará
indicando que la función snooze está activa.
O bien

• Pulse cualquier botón excepto SNOOZE / LIGHT para

silenciar la alarma hasta que se vuelva a activar de nuevo
al día siguiente.

TEMPORIZADOR DE AUTO-APAGADO / SONIDO
RELAJANTE

Puede elegir 1 entre 6 sonidos impactantes para que suene
durante un determinado periodo de tiempo mientras se
duerme:

• Pájaro

• Viento

•Río

• Lluvia

• Cascada

• Ola del océano

Para activar el temporizador:

1. Presionando Sound una vez, se activará

automáticamente la última configuración utilizada
Si quiere cambiar el tiempo, el sonido o el volumen,

continúe de la siguiente manera:

4. Mantenga pulsado el botón Sound / on / off durante

2 segundos para acceder al modo de ajuste..

7. Pulse o para ajustar el tiempo de auto-apagado a
uno de los valores 120 90 60 30 15 0 minutos.
Si selecciona 0 minutos el sonido se desactivará
automáticamente a los pocos segundos.

8. Pulse Sound / on / off para confirmar. En la pantalla
parpadeará SOUND para indicar que el temporizado de
auto-apagado está activado.

FUNCIONES DE VOZ

El reloj parlante puede aprender a encender el proyector,
activar o desactivar las alarmas, y decirle la hora, la
temperatura y el estado de las alarmas cuando se le da un
comando de voz. Puede reconocer comandos de hasta 2
personas. Un procedimiento mediante respuestas a
mensajes del reloj le guiará para el entrenamiento y el uso
de esta funcionalidad del reloj.

ENTRENAMIENTO PARA LAS FUNCIONES DE VOZ

Para utilizar las funciones de voz necesita enseñar al reloj
a conocer sus comandos. Para ello, siga los pasos que se
describen a continuación y escuche las preguntas de voz
del reloj:

Siga los pasos que se detallan a continuación y escuche

NOTA Cuando el reloj espera un comando de voz, el icono

parpadea en la pantalla para indicarlo.

NOTA Si el reloj no tiene respuesta cuando espera un

comando de voz, pasado 1 minuto, aproximadamente, emite
un pitido y pasa al modo de espera. Para volver a activar
las funciones de voz simplemente pronuncie su contraseña.

NOTA Los idiomas disponibles para las funciones de voz

en los distintos modelos son los siguientes:

• RM998PS – Inglés, Italiano, Francés, y Español.

• RM998PG – Inglés, Italiano, Francés y Alemán.

El idioma puede cambiarse en el modo de ajuste de reloj.
Consulte la sección “Ajuste del reloj / calendario”.

VOLUMEN EN FUNCIONES DE VOZ

Utilice los botones o para cambiar el volumen en las
funciones de voz cuando la función de activación por voz
está habilitada.

PARA BORRAR LOS COMANDOS DE VOZ

1. Desconecte el adaptador CA y vuelva a conectarlo, o

pulse RESET.

2. Mantenga pulsado el botón Sound / on / off hasta que

se muestre la siguiente pantalla:

3. Pulse TALK para borrar los comandos de voz con los

que ha entrenado al reloj. Una vez que los comandos
hayan sido borrados, el icono “IIII” dejará de parpadear.

UNIDAD DE PROYECCIÓN

La unidad de proyección puede visualizar tanto la hora como
el estado de la alarma. Siga estas instrucciones para activar
y ajustar la proyección:

• Para activar la proyección continua desplace el

conmutador PROYECCIÓN a la posición ON. Tenga en

cuenta que esta opción no funciona a menos que este
conectado el adaptador de red CA / CC.

• Incline manualmente la unidad de proyección para situar
la imagen proyectada donde desee. Si es necesario pulse
el botón 180
vertical.

• Ajuste el control FOCUS para obtener una imagen nítida.

• Utilice el botón IMAGE ROTATION para girar la imagen
en sentido horario o antihorario.

NOTA También puede utilizar el botón SNOOZE / LUZ

para proyectar la hora y el estado de la alarma durante 8
segundos.

DESPERTADOR VIBRADOR – VR101
(OPCIONAL)

El despertador vibrador actúa cuando recibe una señal del
reloj al activarse la alarma. Está pensado para ser colocado
debajo de la almohada.

El dispositivo puede recibir la señal desde una distancia
máxima de unos 15 metros aproximadamente. Una barra
de LEDs indica el estado de la transmisión de datos y la
carga de la pila.

Un interruptor situado en el despertador vibrador le permite
seleccionar para su activación la alarma 1, la alarma 2 o
ambas. Simplemente ajuste en el reloj la hora de la
correspondiente alarma.

NOTA El despertador vibrador funciona con 2 pilas UM-3 /

AA 1,5 (incluidas). También se pueden utilizar pilas
recargables (no incluidas).

REINICIO DEL RELOJ

Para reiniciar el reloj de manera que todos los ajustes tomen
el valor de fábrica, introduzca un objeto puntiagudo y sin
filo en el orificio situado debajo de RESET.

ADVERTENCIAS

Este producto está diseñado para proporcionarle años de

Observe las siguientes indicaciones:

• No limpie ninguna parte de la unidad con bencina,

à Projection avec activation par la Voix d’Oregon Scientific
Cet appareil est conçu pour fonctionner de nombreuses
années, incluant les avantages suivants :

• Horloge-Calendrier radio-pilotée

• Alarme par vibration sans fil optionnelle avec fonction de
répétition (snooze) toutes les 8 minutes. (L’Alarme par
vibration VR101 peut être achetée séparément)

MISE EN SERVICE

PILES

Les piles sont fournies avec ce produit:

• 3 piles de type UM-4 / AAA 1.5V
L’alarme par vibration optionnelle VR101 (non incluse dans

cet emballage) utilise:

• 2 piles de type UM-3 / AA 1.5V

NOTE Il est recommandé d’utiliser des piles alcalines avec

ce produit pour une performance de plus longue durée.

Insérer les piles avant la première utilisation, en respectant
les polarités (+ et -) comme illustré ci-dessous. Appuyer sur

RESET après chaque changement de pile.

NOTE Ne pas utiliser de piles rechargeables avec ce

produit.

ICONE DE PILE SIGNIFICATION

Les piles sont faibles ou il n’y a
pas de piles insérées et seul
l’adaptateur est connecté.

L’indicateur lumineux de l’alarme par vibration clignotera
en rouge lorsque les piles seront usagées.

ADAPTATEUR SECTEUR

Les piles servent comme alimentation d’urgence en cas de
panne de l’alimentation électrique. Pour faire fonctionner la
fonction d’activation vocale et pour une utilisation continue
du projecteur, brancher l’adaptateur à la base de l’appareil
comme illustré ci-dessous.

NOTE Pour économiser l’énergie, tourner l’interrupteur

PROJECTION ON en position OFF lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé.

A PROPOS DE LA RECEPTION RADIO

Cette horloge peut synchroniser automatiquement la date
et l’heure avec les organismes officiels d’horlogerie de
Francfort (Allemagne) et Rugby (Angleterre). L’appareil peut
réceptionner des signaux de fréquences radios (RF) lorsqu’il
se trouve dans un rayon de 1500km (932 miles) à partir de
ces centres.

Pour sélectionner les signaux radios les plus puissants selon
le lieu, faire glisser l’interrupteur UK / EU sur la sélection la
plus appropriée. Appuyer sur RESET à chaque fois que la
sélection a été changée.

NOTE Pour de meilleures performances, éloigner l’horloge

de tout objet métallique ou électronique et la placer près
d’une fenêtre avec une ouverture dégagée sur le ciel.

ACTIVER OU DESACTIVER LA RECEPTION RADIO­PILOTEE

Pour activer la réception radio:

• Appuyer sur et maintenir le bouton durant 2 secondes.

• L’icône de réception des fréquences radios apparaîtra et
clignotera sur l’affichage pour indiquer que l’appareil
recherche les signaux des fréquences radios.

Une fois que les piles ont été mises en place dans l’horloge,
l’icône de réception clignotera pour indiquer qu’elle
recherche les signaux.

Lorsque les signaux de fréquences radios ont été reçus,
l’icône de réception indiquera la puissance des signaux en
affichant les symboles suivants:

REGLAGE DE L’HEURE/CALENDRIER

Avant de pouvoir régler manuellement l’heure et le
calendrier, il est nécessaire de spécifier le fuseau horaire
et le format d’affichage de l’heure (12 ou 24 heures) comme
suit :

1. Appuyer et maintenir le bouton CLOCK durant 2

secondes. Les chiffres numériques indiquant la différence
d’heure du fuseau horaire clignoteront. Lorsque le
décalage horaire sera réglé (par exemple: +1), l’heure
affichée sera l’heure radio-pilotée plus 1 heure.

2. Appuyer sur ou pour changer le réglage.

3. Appuyer sur le bouton CLOCK pour confirmer le réglage
et accéder au prochain réglage.

4. Les réglages apparaissent dans l’ordre suivant : Décalage
horaire du fuseau horaire, format 12 / 24 heures, heure,
minute, année, format MM / DD ou DD / MM, mois, jour
et langue pour le jour de la semaine et l’horloge parlante.

5. Appuyer sur CLOCK ou sur ALARM pour sortir du Mode
de Réglage de l’Horloge.

disponibles avec ces modèles:

ALARME

AFFICHAGE DE L’ALARME ET SONNERIE

Ce produit possède deux alarmes quotidiennes pouvant être
réglées pour retentir en même temps tous les jours. Il est
possible d’être réveillé(e) par une mélodie, une sonnerie
d’alarme ou une alarme parlante et/ou par vibration. Voir le
tableau ci-dessous pour les icônes d’alarme et leur
signification:

6. Les réglages apparaissent dans l’ordre suivant: Heure,
minute, type d’alarme, sonnerie d’alarme et volume de
l’alarme (si une mélodie d’alarme a été sélectionnée).

7. L’alarme quotidienne sera activée automatiquement
après le réglage.

ACTIVATION / DESACTIVATION DE(S) ALARME(S)

• Appuyer sur le bouton ALARM pour activer/désactiver
l’alarme 1 et 2.

• Lorsque l’icône de sonnerie d’alarme apparaît sur
l’affichage, l’alarme est activée. Lorsque l’icône n’apparaît
pas sur l’affichage, l’alarme est désactivée.

REPETITION D’ALARME / ARRETER L’ALARME

Lorsque l’alarme retentit, l’icône de l’alarme clignote, le rétro­éclairage et le projecteur se mettent en marche durant 8
secondes et l’alarme retentit durant 2 minutes si aucune
touche n’est pressée.

Pour arrêter l’alarme:

• Appuyer sur SNOOZE / LIGHT pour l’arrêter
momentanément durant 8 minutes. L’icône de l’alarme 1
ou de l’alarme 2 clignotera pour indiquer que la fonction
de répétition (snooze) est activée.

OU

• Appuyer sur n’importe quelle touche sauf SNOOZE /
LIGHT pour arrêter l’alarme et l’activer de nouveau 24
heures après.

ENDORMISSEMENT / SONS APAISANTS

Il est possible de choisir l’un de ces six sons apaisants pour
s’endormir en réglant la durée:

• Oiseau

•Vent

• Rivière

• Pluie

• Cascade

• Vague

Pour activer la fonction d’endormissement:

1. Appuyer sur Sound/ une fois, la dernière
programmation utilisée sera activée.

Pour changer la durée, le son ou le volume, suivez ces
étapes:

d’endormissement qui s’arrêtera après 120 90 60
30 1 5 ou 0 minu tes. Lorsque 0 minute est sélectionné,
le son apaisant s’arrêtera automatiquement après
quelques secondes.

8. Appuyer sur Sound / on / off pour confirmer le réglage.
SOUND clignotera sur l’écran LCD pour indiquer que le
minuteur d’endormissement est activé.

HORLOGE PARLANTE

L’horloge parlante peut apprendre à mettre en marche le
projecteur, à activer ou désactiver l(es) alarme(s), et énoncer
l’heure, la température et l’état de l’alarme en écoutant de
simples ordres donnés vocalement. L’appareil peut
reconnaitre les ordres vocaux donnés par 2 utilisateurs. Les
indications données par la voix de l’horloge expliquent
comment procéder pour utiliser cette fonction.

ENTRAINEMENT DE L’HORLOGE PARLANTE

Pour utiliser l’horloge parlante, il est nécessaire de l’entraîner
à reconnaître les ordres vocaux. Pour cela, suivre les étapes
ci-dessous et écouter les indications données par la voix
de l’horloge :

VOLUME DE L’HORLOGE PARLANTE

Pour changer le volume de l’horloge parlante, appuyer sur
ou lorsque la fonction d’activation par la voix est activée.

EFFACEMENT DES ORDRES VOCAUX ENSEIGNÉS AU
RÉVEIL

1. Débrancher l’adaptateur de la prise puis le brancher de

nouveau, ou appuyer sur RESET.

2. Appuyer et maintenir Sound / on / off et l’écran ci-

dessous apparaîtra.

3. Appuyer sur TALK pour effacer les ordres vocaux

enseignés. L’icône “IIII” s’arrêtera de bouger lorsque la
mémoire aura été effacée.CK

RÉVEIL PROJECTION

L’unité de projection peut afficher l’heure et l’heure de
l’alarme. Pour utiliser cette fonction:

• Faire glisser l’interrupteur PROJECTION en position ON

pour activer une projection continue. Cependant, cette
fonction ne fonctionnera que si l’adaptateur est connecté.

• Ajuster le bouton FOCUS pour rendre l’image projetée
plus nette.

• Ajuster le bouton IMAGE ROTATION pour faire pivoter
l’image dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre ou dans
le sens contraire.

• Lever manuellement l’unité de projection pour positionner
l’image ou appuyer sur le bouton 180
renverser l’image.

NOTE Il est également possible d’appuyer sur le bouton

SNOOZE / LIGHT pour projeter l’heure et l’heure de l’alarme

durant 5 secondes.

REVEIL-ALARME VIBREUSE – VR101
(OPTIONEL)

L’alarme par vibration reçoit un signal de l’horloge et actionne
la fonction d’alarme par vibrations. Cet appareil est conçu
pour se mettre sous l’oreiller.

Le mécanisme a une portée d’environ 15 mètres et a un
compteur lumineux pour indiquer la transmission des
données et le niveau des piles.

L’interrupteur de l’alarme par vibration peut sélectionner
l’alarme 1 ou l’alarme 2, ou les deux. Sélectionner
simplement l’heure de l’alarme sur l’horloge selon l’heure

désirée du réveil avec l’alarme par vibration.

NOTE L’alarme par vibration fonctionne avec 2 piles de

type UM-3 / AA de 1.5V (incluses). Il est également possible

Grazie per aver scelto RM998P, l'Orologio Radiocontrollato
con Proiezione e Attivazione Vocale di Oregon ScientificTM.
Questo strumento è progettato per garantire molti anni di
funzionamento affidabile, ed offre le seguenti funzioni:

• Orologio con calendario radiocontrollato

• Sveglia a vibrazione tramite sensore senza fili (VR101)
opzionale

• Soothing Sounds con funzione sleep con 6 melodie
rilassanti

BATTERIE

Batterie fornite con il prodotto:

• 3 batterie UM-4 / AAA 1.5V
Il sensore senza fili opzionale VR101 per la sveglia a

vibrazione (non incluso nella confezione) utilizza:

• 2 batterie UM-3 / AA 1.5V

NOTA Si raccomanda l’utilizzo di batterie alcaline, a

garanzia di prestazioni prolungate.

Inserire le batterie prima del primo utilizzo, rispettando la
polarità (+ e -) come illustrato di seguito. Premere RESET
dopo ogni sostituzione delle batterie.

NOTA Non utilizzare batterie ricaricabili con questo prodotto.

ALIMENTATORE AC

Le batterie fungono da alimentazione di back-up. Per
utilizzare la funzione vocale e per un utilizzo continuo del
proiettore, installare l’adattatore AC alla base dell’unità come
illustrato di seguito.

NOTA Per risparmiare energia, spegnere il PROIETTORE

(posizione OFF) quando non è utilizzato.

RICEZIONE RADIO

Questo orologio sincronizza automaticamente data e ora
con stazioni radio ufficiali a Francoforte (Germania) e Rugby
(Inghilterra). L’unità riesce a captare un segnale in Radio
Frequenza (RF) se è entro 1500km (932 miglia) da queste
località.

Per selezionare il segnale radio più adatto alla vostra località,
posizionare l’interruttore UK / EU correttamente. Premere

RESET ad ogni modifica dell’impostazione selezionata.

NOTA Per ottenere risultati ottimali, posizionare l’orologio

lontano da oggetti metallici o dispositivi elettrici, e vicino ad
una finestra.

ATTIVARE / DISATTIVARE LA RICEZIONE RADIO

Per attivare la ricezione radio:

• Tenere premuto per 2 secondi.

• Comparirà l’icona di ricezione RF e lampeggerà sul
display, per indicare che è in corso la ricerca del segnale
RF.

Quando le batterie sono state installate nell’orologio, l’icona
di ricezione lampeggerà, per indicare che è alla ricerca di
un segnale.

Quando il segnale di ricezione è stato ricevuto, l’icona di
ricezione indicherà la potenza del segnale visualizzando
da 0 a 3 onde:

Per disattivare la ricezione radio:

• Tenere premuto per 2 secondi.

• L’icona di ricezione RF scomparirà dal display.

Prima di poter impostare manualmente orologio e
calendario, occorre specificare il fuso orario corrente e il
formato ora (12 o 24 ore) come segue:

1. Tenere premuto CLOCK per 2 secondi. Le cifre relative

allo scostamento del fuso orario lampeggeranno. Quando
è stato impostato uno scostamento (ad es. +1), l’ora
visualizzata sarà l’ora ricevuta in radio frequenza più 1
ora.

2. Premere o per modificare l’impostazione.

3. Premere CLOCK per confermare l’impostazione e
passare alla successiva.

4. Le impostazioni compaiono in quest’ordine: Scostamento
fuso orario, formato 12 / 24 ore, ora, minuti, anno, formato
MM / GG o GG / MM, mese, giorno o lingua per il giorno
della settimana e funzione parlante.

5. Premere CLOCK o ALARM per uscire dalla Modalità
Impostazione Orologio.

NOTA sono disponibili le seguenti lingue per la funzione

parlante nei modelli sotto indicati:

• RM998PS – inglese, italiano, francese e spagnolo.

• RM998PG – inglese, italiano, francese e tedesco.

RETROILLUMINAZIONE

Premere SNOOZE / LUCE per attivare la retroilluminazione
per 8 secondi.

TEMPERATURA

L’orologio visualizza la temperatura interna attuale. Per
scegliere tra
l’impostazione desiderata.

SVEGLIA

Questo prodotto è dotato di due sveglie giornaliere che
possono essere impostate per suonare alla stessa ora ogni
giorno. È possibile scegliere di essere svegliati da una
melodia, da un beep o dalla “sveglia parlante” e/o da una
vibrazione. Vedere le icone della suoneria sveglia e il loro
significato nella tabella sottostante:

è stata selezionata la suoneria a melodia).

7. La sveglia giornaliera sarà immediatamente attiva dopo
l’impostazione.

ATTIVARE / DISATTIVARE LA SVEGLIA

• Premere il pulsante ALARM per attivare / disattivare
sveglia 1 e sveglia 2.

• Quando le icone della suoneria sveglia compaiono sul
display la sveglia è attivata. Quando le icone non
compaiono la sveglia è disattivata.

FUNZIONE SNOOZE / SPEGNERE LA SVEGLIA

Quando è attivata, l’icona sveglia lampeggia, la
retroilluminazione e il proiettore si accendono per 8 secondi
e la sveglia suona per 2 minuti, se non viene premuto nessun
tasto.

Per spegnere la sveglia:

• Premere SNOOZE / LIGHT per interrompere la suoneria
per 8 minuti. L’icona di sveglia 1 o sveglia 2 lampeggerà,
ad indicare che la funzione snooze è attivata.
OPPURE

• Premere qualsiasi tasto eccetto SNOOZE / LUCE per

spegnere la sveglia e attivarla nuovamente 24 ore dopo.

FUNZIONE SLEEP / SOOTHING SOUNDS

È possibile scegliere tra 6 melodie rilassanti da ascoltare
per un tempo stabilito mentre ci si addormenta:

• Uccelli

• Vento

• Fiume

• Gocce di pioggia

• Cascata

• Onde dell’oceano

Per attivare la funzione Sleep:

1. Premere il pulsante Sound/ on/off una volta. Questa

operazione attiva automaticamente l'ultima impostazione
utilizzata.

Per cambiare durata, melodia o volume:

2. Premere o per modificare il volume della melodia
rilassante.

3. Premere Sound / on / off per confermare.

4. Tenere premuto Sound / on / off per 2 secondi per
entrare in modalità impostazione.

5. Premere o per modificare la melodia rilassante.

6. Premere Sound / on / off per confermare.

7. Premere o per impostare la funzione Sleep per
spegnerla dopo 120 90 60 30 15 o 0 minuti.

Quando si seleziona 0 minuti la melodia rilassante si
spegnerà automaticamente dopo alcuni secondi.

8. Premere Sound / on / off per confermare
l’impostazione. SOUND lampeggerà sul display LCD, ad
indicare che la funzione Sleep è attivata.

FUNZIONE PARLANTE

La funzione parlante può consentire di accendere il
proiettore, accendere e spegnere la(e) sveglia(e), dire l’ora,
la temperatura e lo stato della sveglia tramite semplici
comandi vocali dati dall’utente. L'orologio può riconoscere
comandi ricevuti da un massimo di 2 utenti. I suggerimenti
della voce dell’orologio parlante accompagnano l’utente
passo passo nella fase di impostazione e di utilizzo di questa
funzione.

IMPOSTAZIONE DELLA FUNZIONE DI
RICONOSCIMENTO VOCALE

Per utilizzare la funzione parlante è necessario "addestrare
l'orologio" a riconoscere i comandi dell’utente. Per fare ciò,
seguire i passaggi principali elencati di seguito e ascoltare
i suggerimenti vocali dell’orologio:

La lingua dell’orologio parlante può essere modificata in

VOLUME DELL’OROLOGIO PARLANTE

Per modificare il volume dell’orologio parlante, premere o
quando la funzione è attiva.

CANCELLARE I COMANDI VOCALI DELL’OROLOGIO
PARLANTE

1. Scollegare l’adattatore AC e collegarlo nuovamente, o

premere RESET.

2. Tenere premuto Sound / on / off e comparirà la

schermata sottostante.

3. Premere TALK per cancellare i comandi vocali che erano

stati impostati. L’icona “IIII” smetterà di muoversi quando
la memoria sarà cancellata.CK

PROIEZIONE

Il proiettore può visualizzare sia l'ora che lo stato della
sveglia. Per utilizzare questa funzione:

• Spostare l’interruttore PROIETTORE in posizione ON per

attivare la proiezione continua. Tuttavia, questo sarà
possibile solo utilizzando l’adattatore AC / DC.

• Regolare la rotellina FOCUS per mettere a fuoco

l’immagine.

• Regolare la rotellina ROTAZIONE IMMAGINE per ruotare

l’immagine in senso orario o antiorario.

• Inclinare manualmente il proiettore per posizionare

l’immagine o premere il pulsante ROTAZIONE A 180
per ruotare e capovolgere l’immagine.

NOTA È possibile premere il pulsante SNOOZE / LUCE

per proiettare l’ora e lo stato della sveglia per 8 secondi.

SENSORE SENZA FILI PER SVEGLIA A
VIBRAZIONE – VR101 (OPZIONALE)

Il sensore senza fili per la sveglia a vibrazione riceve un
segnale dall’orologio e svolge la funzione del risveglio
attraverso una vibrazione. È progettata per essere collocata
sotto il cuscino.

Lo strumento ha un raggio d’azione di circa 15 metri ed è
dotato di un indicatore a LED per visualizzare la trasmissione
dei dati ed il livello batteria.

L’interruttore sul sensore per la sveglia a vibrazione può
essere posizionato su sveglia 1 o sveglia 2, o su entrambe.

Selezionare semplicemente l’ora della sveglia sull’orologio
quando si desidera essere svegliati dalla sveglia a
vibrazione.

NOTA Il sensore senza fili per la sveglia a vibrazione è

alimentata da 2 batterie UM-3 / AA 1.5V (fornite). È
compatibile anche con batterie ricaricabili (non fornite).

Wij danken u voor uw keuze van deze stemgeactiveerde
RF-projectiewekker van Oregon ScientificTM. Dit apparaat
werd ontworpen om u jaren lang trouw te kunnen dienen en
biedt u de volgende nuttige kenmerken:

• Radiogestuurde kalenderklok

• Optionele draadloze vibratiewekker met 8-minuten
sluimerfunctie (de vibratiewekker VR101 is afzonderlijk
in de handel verkrijgbaar)

• Inslaapfunctie met 6 kalmerende geluiden

• 5 wekkermelodieën met 2 volumeniveaus

OM TE BEGINNEN

DE BATTERIJEN

De batterijen zijn bij dit product geleverd:

• 3 batterijen van het type UM-4 / AAA 1,5 V

De optionele vibratiewekker VR101 (niet in dit pakket
inbegrepen) werkt op:

• 2 batterijen van het type UM-3 / AA 1,5 V.

OPMERKING Voor een langere gebruiksduur bevelen wij

u aan in dit product alkaline batterijen te gebruiken.

Zet de batterijen in voordat u het toestel voor het eerst gaat
gebruiken. Let bij het inzetten op de polen (+ en -) als
hieronder aangegeven. Druk telkens na het vervangen van
de batterijen op RESET.

OPMERKING Gebruik in dit product geen herlaadbare

batterijen.

BATTERIJ-ICOON BETEKENIS

De batterijen zijn bijna leeg, of
er zijn geen batterijen ingezet en
alleen de adapter is aangesloten

De LED-indicator op de vibratiewekker knippert in het rood
wanneer de batterijen aan vervanging toe zijn.

WISSELSTROOMADAPTER

De batterijen dienen als back-up stroomvoeding. Om de
stemgeactiveerde functie te gebruiken en voor voortdurende
projectie moet u de wisselstroomadapter op de onderzijde
van het toestel aansluiten als hieronder aangegeven.

OPMERKING Om energie te besparen draait u de

schakelaar PROJECTION ON naar de stand OFF wanneer
u de projectie niet nodig heeft.

OVER DE RADIO-ONTVANGST

Deze klok kan automatisch de datum en tijd synchroniseren
met de officiële tijdsinstanties van Frankfurt (Duitsland) en
Rugby (Engeland). Het apparaat kan een (RF)
radiofrequentiesignaal oppikken wanneer het zich binnen
een straal van 1500 km van één van deze locaties bevindt.

Om het meest geschikte radiosignaal voor uw locatie te
selecteren verschuift u de schakelaar UK / EU naar de
geschikte stand. Druk telkens wanneer u deze instelling
heeft gewijzigd op RESET.

OPMERKING Voor de beste resultaten plaatst u de klok

uit de buurt van metalen of elektrische voorwerpen en vlakbij
een venster met een open zicht naar de hemel toe.

AAN / UITSCHAKELEN VAN DE RADIO-ONTVANGST

Om de radio-ontvangst AAN te schakelen:

• Houd 2 seconden lang ingedrukt.

• Het icoon van de RF-ontvangst begint op de display te
knipperen om aan te geven dat het toestel naar het RF­signaal zoekt.

Nadat de batterijen in de klok zijn ingezet knippert het
ontvangsticoon om aan te geven dat het toestel naar een
signaal zoekt.

Nadat het signaal is ontvangen geeft het ontvangsticoon
de signaalsterkte door middel van 0 tot 3 golven aan:

Om de radio-ontvangst UIT te schakelen:

• Houd 2 seconden lang ingedrukt.

• Het icoon van de RF-ontvangst verdwijnt dan van de
display.

INSTELLEN VAN DE KLOK / KALENDER

Voordat u de klok en kalender handmatig kunt instellen, moet
u de tijdzone waar u momenteel verblijft en de tijdopmaak
(12- of 24-uuraanduiding) invoeren als volgt:

1. Houd CLOCK 2 seconden lang ingedrukt. De uurcijfers

voor de compensatie van de tijdzone gaan knipperen.
Wanneer een tijdcompensatie is ingevoerd (bijv. +1) is
de tijd die op de display wordt aangegeven de RF-kloktijd
plus 1 uur.

2. Druk op of om de instelling te wijzigen.

WEKKER

WEKKERDISPLAY EN GELUID

Dit toestel is uitgerust met twee dagelijkse wekkers, die
beiden kunnen worden ingesteld om elke dag op dezelfde
tijd te luiden. U kunt kiezen om gewekt te worden door een
melodie, een pieptoon of de sprekende wekker en / of
vibratie. Verwijs naar de onderstaande tabel voor de
wekkericonen en hun betekenis:

6. De instellingen verschijnen in deze volgorde op de
display: uur, minuten, wekkertype, wekkergeluid en
wekkervolume (wanneer de melodiewekker is
geselecteerd).

7. De dagelijkse wekker is na het instellen automatisch
aangeschakeld.

ACTIVEREN / DEACTIVEREN VAN DE WEKKER(S)

• Druk op de toets ALARM om af te wisselen tussen
Wekker 1 en Wekkeer 2 AAN / UIT.

• Een wekker is geactiveerd wanneer de iconen van de
wekkergeluiden op de display zijn aangegeven. Wanneer
geen wekkericonen op de display zijn aangegeven is de
wekker niet aangeschakeld.

SLUIMERFUNCTIE / UITSCHAKELEN VAN DE WEKKER

Wanneer de klok bij de ingestelde wektijd is gekomen en
een wekker is aangeschakeld, knippert het wekkericoon,
schakelen de de display en de projector 8 seconden lang
aan en luidt de wekker gedurende 2 minuten, tenzij u op
een toets drukt.

Om de wekker te stoppen:

• Druk op SNOOZE / LIGHT om de wekker 8 minuten lang

te stoppen. Het icoon van Wekker 1 of Wekker 2 icon
knippert dan, om aan te geven dat de sluimerfunctie is
geactiveerd.

OF

• Druk op eender welke toets uitgezonderd SNOOZE /
LIGHT om de wekker uit te schakelen en 24 uur later
opnieuw te laten luiden.

INSLAAPTIMER / KALMEREND GELUID

U kunt kiezen uit 6 kalmerende geluiden om gedurende een
ingestelde tijdsduur te spelen terwijl u in slaap valt:

• Vogels

•Wind

• Rivier

• Regendruppels

• Waterval

• Oceaangolven

Om de inslaaptimer AAN te schakelen:

1. Druk Sound / on / off éénmaal, dit zal automatisch
de door u laatst gebruikte instelling activeren.

Om de tijdsduur van de timer, het geluid of het volume te
veranderen gaat u als volgt tewerk:

geluiden te veranderen.

3. Druk op Sound / on / off om te bevestigen.

4. Houd Sound / on / off 2 seconden lang ingedrukt om
de instelmodus binnen te gaan.

5. Druk op of om een ander kalmerend geluid te
kiezen.

6. Druk op Sound / on / off om te bevestigen.

7. Druk op of om de inslaaptimer in te stellen om na
120 90 60 30 15 of 0 minuten uit te schakelen.
Wanneer 0 minuten is geselecteerd schakelt het
kalmerende geluid na enkele seconden automatisch uit.

8. Druk op Sound / on / off om de instelling te bevestigen.
SOUND knippert op de display, om aan te geven dat de
inslaaptimer is geactiveerd.

SPREKENDE KLOK

U kunt de sprekende klok aanleren om de projector aan te
schakelen, de wekker(s) aan of uit te schakelen en u de
tijd, temperatuur en wekkerstatus luidop te zeggen nadat u
een eenvoudig stembevel heeft gegeven. Het toestel kan
de bevelen van tot 2 gebruikers herkennen. Een stem van
de sprekende klok begeleidt u tijdens het aanleren en het
gebruik van dit kenmerk.

AANLEREN VAN DE SPREKENDE KLOK

Om de sprekende klok te kunnen gebruiken moet u hem
aanleren uw bevelen te herkennen. Om dit te doen volgt u
de onderstaande stappen en luistert u naar de instructies
die de sprekende klok u geeft:

1. Schakel de stroom van de wisselstroomadapter UIT en

dan weer AAN of druk op RESET.

2. Houd Sound / on / off ingedrukt om het onderstaande

venster te zien verschijnen.

3. Druk op TALK om de aangeleerde stembevelen te wissen.
Het icoon “IIII” stopt met bewegen wanneer het geheugen
is gewist.

PROJECTIE-EENHEID

De projectie-eenheid kan zowel de tijd als de wekkerstatus
projecteren. Om dit kenmerk te gebruiken:

• Verschuif de schakelaar PROJECTION naar de stand

ON om de voortdurende projectie te activeren. Deze
functie werkt echter uitsluitend wanneer de wissel /
gelijkstroomadapter is aangesloten.

• Stel de knop FOCUS in om het geprojecteerde beeld

scherp te stellen.

• Stel de knop IMAGE ROTATION in om het

geprojecteerde beeld in of tegen de richting van de klok
te draaien.

• Zet de projectie-eenheid handmatig schuin om het
geprojecteerde beeld naar wens van positie te
veranderen of druk op de toets 180
beeld ondersteboven te draaien.

OPMERKING U kunt ook drukken op de toets SNOOZE /

LIGHT om de tijd en wekkerstatus 5 seconden lang te

projecteren.

VIBRATIEWEKKER – VR101 (OPTIONEEL)

De vibratiewekker ontvangt een signaal van de klok en
fungeert als wekker door te trillen. Dit toestel werd ontworpen
om onder uw hoofdkussen te worden gelegd.

Het toestel heeft een reikwijdte van ongeveer 15 meter en

is uitgerust met een LED-meter om de gegeventransmissie
en het batterijniveau aan te geven.

Met de schakelaar op de vibratiewekker kunt u hem instellen
op Wekker 1 of Wekker 2 of beide. Selecteer eenvoudig de
wekkertijd op de klokeenheid wanneer u door de
vibratiewekker wenst te worden gewekt.

OPMERKING De vibratiewekker werkt op 2 batterijen van

het type UM-3 / AA 1,5 V (inbegrepen). Herlaadbare
batterijen (niet inbegrepen) kunnen in dit toestel ook worden
gebruikt.

TERUGSTELLEN VAN DE KLOK

Stop een fijn, stomp voorwerp in de opening onder RESET
om het toestel terug te stellen naar de fabrieksinstellingen.

PARA COMEÇAR

PILHAS

As pilhas são fornecidas com este produto:

• 3 pilhas UM-4 / AAA de 1,5V

O alarme vibratório despertador opcional VR101 (não
incluído na embalagem) utiliza:

• 2 pilhas UM-3 / AA de 1,5V

NOTA Recomenda-se o uso de pilhas alcalinas neste

produto para maior duração.

Antes de usar o aparelho pela primeira vez, coloque as
pilhas combinando a polaridade (+ e -) conforme indicado
abaixo. Pressione RESET após cada substituição de pilhas.

NOTA Não utilize pilhas recarregáveis neste aparelho.

ÍCONE DA PILHA DESCRIÇÃO

As pilhas estão fracas ou não
há pilhas instaladas e apenas o
adaptador está conectado.

O indicador LED no alarme vibratório ficará intermitente e
vermelho quando as pilhas estiverem fracas.

ADAPTADOR AC

As pilhas funcionam como uma fonte de energia reserva.
Para operar a função de ativação por voz e para uso
contínuo do projetor, instale o adaptador AC na base da
unidade conforme indicado abaixo.

NOTA Para conservar energia, desligue o botão

PROJECTION ON (coloque-o na posição OFF) quando não

desejar usar a projeção.

SOBRE A RÁDIO RECEPÇÃO

Este relógio é capaz de sincronizar automaticamente a hora
e data com os dados das organizações oficiais em Frankfurt
(Alemanha) e Rugby (Inglaterra). A unidade é capaz de
captar um sinal de Rádio Frequência (RF) quando colocada
num raio de 1500 Km (932 milhas).

Para selecionar o sinal de rádio mais apropriado para sua
localidade, deslize a chave UK / EU para o ajuste correto.
Pressione RESET sempre que alterar o ajuste.

NOTA Para um melhor resultado, coloque o relógio distante

de objetos metálicos e próximo a uma janela com vista
aberta para o céu.

Para ligar a rádio recepção:

• Pressione e mantenha pressionado durante 2
segundos.

• O ícone de recepção RF ficará intermitente na tela a fim
de indicar a busca do sinal RF.

Quando as pilhas são instaladas no relógio, o ícone de
recepção piscará a fim de indicar a busca do sinal.

Quando a recepção do sinal é atingida o ícone de recepção
indicará a potência do sinal exibindo de 0 a 3 ondas:

AJUSTAR O RELÓGIO / CALENDÁRIO

Antes de ajustar o relógio e calendário manualmente, é
necessário especificar a zona horária de sua localidade atual
e o formato da hora (12 ou 24 horas) conforme o seguinte:

1. Pressione e mantenha pressionado CLOCK durante 2

segundos. Os dígitos da diferença da zona horária
piscarão. Quando uma compensação horária é
configurada, por exemplo + 1 hora, a hora exibida será a
hora do relógio RF mais 1 hora.

2. Pressione ou para alterar o ajuste.

3. Pressione CLOCK para confirmar o ajuste e passar para
o seguinte.

4. Os ajustes aparecem na seguinte ordem: diferença da
zona horária, formato da hora 12 / 24 horas, hora, minuto,
ano, formato da data MM/DD ou DD/MM, mês, dia e
idioma do dia da semana e relógio falante.

5. Pressione CLOCK ou ALARM para sair do Modo de
Ajuste do Relógio.

NOTA As seguintes opções de idiomas para a função

relógio falante estão disponíveis com os seguintes modelos:

• RM998PS – Inglês, Italiano, Francês e Espanhol.

• RM998PG – Inglês, Italiano, Francês e Alemão.

LUZ DE FUNDO

Pressione SNOOZE / LIGHT para ligar a luz de fundo por 8
segundos.

TEMPERATURA

O relógio exibe a temperatura interior atual. Para escolher
entre ºC / ºF, pressione o botão ºC / ºF para selecionar o
ajuste desejado.

ALARME

TELA DO ALARME E SOM

Este produto possui dois alarmes diários que podem ser
ajustados para soar à mesma hora todos os dias. É possível
selecionar ser acordado por uma melodia, por bips ou pelo
som do alarme falante e / ou vibração. Observe o quadro
abaixo para identificar o ícone do som do alarme e seu
significado:

entre alarme 1 e 2.

7. O alarme diário ficará automaticamente ligado após seu
ajuste.

ATIVAR / DESATIVAR O(S) ALARME(S)

• Pressione o botão ALARM para alternar entre alarme 1
e alarme 2 LIGAR / DESLIGAR.

• Quando os ícones do alarme aparecem na tela, o alarme
está ativado. Quando os ícones não aparecem, o alarme
está desativado.

FUNÇÃO SNOOZE (SONECA) / DESLIGANDO O
ALARME

Quando ativado, o ícone do alarme pisca, a luz de fundo e
o projetor são ativados por 8 segundos e o alarme soa
durante 2 minutos, caso nenhuma tecla seja pressionada.

Para interromper o alarme:

• Pressione SNOOZE / LIGHT para interrompê-lo por 8
minutos. O ícone do alarme 1 ou do alarme 2 piscará a
fim de indicar que a função Snooze está ativada.

OU

• Pressione qualquer tecla, com a exceção de SNOOZE /
LIGHT, a fim de interromper o alarme e ativá-lo
novamente dentro de 24 horas.

TIMER DE DESCANSO / SOM RELAXANTE

É possível escolher 1 dos 6 sons relaxantes para tocar
durante um certo período enquanto você adormece:

• Pássaro

• Vento

•Rio

• Pingos de chuva

• Cachoeira

• Ondas do mar

Para ligar o timer de descanso:

1. Pressione Sound / ligar/desligar uma vez, a fim de
ativar automaticamente o último ajuste usado

Se desejar alterar a hora, som ou volume, continue
conforme o seguinte:

durante 2 segundos para entrar no mode de ajuste.

7. Pressione ou para ajustar o timer de descanso para
desligar após 120, 90, 60, 30, 15 ou 0 minutos. Quando

0 minutos é selecionado o som relaxante desligará
automaticamente após alguns segundos.

8. Pressione Sound / on / off para confirmar o ajuste.
SOUND piscará na tela LCD a fim de indicar que o timer
está ativado.

RELÓGIO FALANTE

O relógio falante pode ser treinado para ligar a projeção,
ligar / desligar o(s) alarme(s) e dizer a hora, temperatura e
estado do alarme ao ouvir comandos simples de sua voz.
Ele é capaz de reconhecer comandos de até 2 usuários. As
instruções do relógio falante vão ensinar-lhe a treiná-lo e a
usar esta função.

TREINAR O RELÓGIO FALANTE

Para usar o relógio falante é preciso treiná-lo a reconhecer
seus comandos. Para fazer isso, siga as etapas abaixo e
escute as instruções do relógio:

O idioma do relógio falante pode ser alterado no Modo de
Ajuste do Relógio. Consulte a seção “Ajustar o Relógio /
Calendário” para informação adicional.

VOLUME DO RELÓGIO FALANTE

Para alterar o volume do relógio falante, pressione ou
quando a função de ativação por voz estiver ligada.

APAGAR OS COMANDOS DE VOZ DO RELÓGIO
FALANTE

1. Desligue o adaptador AC e ligue-o novamente ou

pressione RESET.

2. Pressione e mantenha pressionado Sound / on / off

e a tela abaixo aparecerá.

3. Pressione TALK para apagar os comandos de voz

treinados. O ícone “IIII” deixará de mover-se quando a
memória for apagada.

UNIDADE DE PROJEÇÃO

A unidade de projeção exibe a hora e o estado do alarme.
Para utilizar esta função:

• Deslize o botão PROJECTION para a posição ON para
ativar a projeção contínua. Esta função somente pode
ser operada se o adaptador AC / DC estiver em uso.

• Ajuste o botão FOCUS para tornar a imagem mais nítida.

• Ajuste o botão IMAGE ROTATION para girar a imagem
no sentido horário ou anti-horário.

• Incline manualmente a unidade de projeção para
posicionar a imagem ou pressione o botão 180

ROTATION a fim de inverter a imagem no sentido oposto.

NOTA Também é possível pressionar o botão SNOOZE /

LIGHT para projetar a hora e estado do alarme por 8

segundos.

ALARME VIBRATÓRIO DESPERTADOR –
VR101 (OPCIONAL)

O alarme vibratório recebe um sinal do relógio e realiza a
função de despertador através de vibração. É concebido
para ser colocado debaixo de seu travesseiro.

O aparelho possui um alcance aproximado de 15 metros;
vem com um medidor LED que indica a transmissão de
dados e o nível da pilha.

A chave no alarme vibratório pode ser ajustada para alarme
1 ou alarme 2, ou ambos. Simplesmente selecione, no
relógio, a hora desejada para o alarme vibratório despertá­lo.

NOTA O alarme vibratório funciona com 2 pilhas UM-3 /

AA de 1,5V (incluídas). Também é compatível com pilhas
recarregáveis (não incluídas).

REINICIALIZAR O RELÓGIO

Insira um objeto de ponta no orifício abaixo de RESET para
retornar aos ajustes padrão.
