INTRODUCTION
Thank you for selecting the Oregon ScientificTM Digital MP3 Player MP810. The compact, mobile MP810 offers the convenience of listening to MP3 or WMA music no matter where you are during your travels. The low-power consuming device features MP3 playback or digital voice recording. In addition, the MP810 also acts as a mobile disk drive for convenient storage of documents and other important files you may need to take with you while on the road.

No software drivers needed for Windows ME / 2000 / XP
MP3 and WMA playback
Blue backlight for easy viewing of LCD display
Firmware upgradeable / reinstallation
Mobile storage function
USB thumb drive design for direct connection to PC
Built-in 128MB, 256MB or 512MB flash memory (refer to indication on the packing)
Digital voice recording: approximately 8 hours (128MB) / 16 hours (256MB) / 32 hours (512MB)
6-mode equalizer

INSERTING BATTERY
1 x AAA alkaline battery is supplied with this product. Insert the battery before first use, matching the polarity as shown in the battery compartment.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Before you begin, please check to make sure your computer meets the following system requirements:
• Intel® Pentium® 133MHz or faster
• CD-ROM Drive
• USB 1.1 support
• 10MB free hard disk space
• Microsoft® Windows® 98SE, Me, 2000 (with Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 or above installed), or XP
INSTALLING FIRMWARE UPGRADE SOFTWARE AND WINDOWS 98SE DRIVERS
1. Make sure your player is disconnected from the computer.
2. Insert the MP810 CD-ROM into your computer. If the installer does not automatically begin, please refer to the troubleshooting section for help.
3. Follow the onscreen instructions.
4. Restart your computer.
5. The firmware upgrade software installation is completed. If you are using Windows 98SE, the Windows driver is already installed on your computer.
WINDOWS 98SE
Installing the MP810 Windows driver will allow your computer to recognize your player each time it is connected to the computer.
