GETTING STARTED

INSERT BATTERIES

1.Remove the battery compartment.

2.Insert the batteries, matching the polarities (see FIG 2).

3.Press RESET after each battery change.

REMOTE SENSOR

The main unit can collect data from up to 3 sensors.

To set up the sensor:

1.Open the battery compartment (see FIG 3).

2.Select a channel then press RESET.

3.Close the battery door.

4.Place the sensor within 30 m (98 ft) of the main unit using the table stand or wall mount.

TIP Ideal placements for the sensor would be in any location on the exterior of the home at a height of not more than 5 ft and which can shield it from direct sunlight or wet conditions for an accurate reading.

NOTE Use alkaline batteries for longer usage and consumer grade lithium batteries in temperatures below freezing.

SENSOR DATA TRANSMISSION

To search for a sensor:

Press and hold + MODE.

The sensor reception icon in the remote sensor area shows the status:

TIP The transmission range may vary depending on many factors. You may need to experiment with various locations to get the best results.

CLOCK RECEPTION

This product is designed to synchronize its clock automatically with a clock signal.

EU / UK:

Slide EU / UK to select the signal received.

•EU: DCF-77 signal: within 1500 km (932 miles) of

Frankfurt, Germany.

•UK: MSF-60 signal: within 1500 km (932 miles) of

Anthorn, England.

US:

•WWVB-60 signal: within 3200km (2000 miles) of Fort

Collins Colorado.

MANUALLY SET CLOCK

To set the clock manually, disable the signal reception first.

1.Press and hold MODE.

2.Press or to change the settings.

3.Press MODE to confirm.

4.The settings order is: time zone, 12/24 hr format, hour, minute, year, calendar mode (day – month /

month – day), month, day and language.

EU / UK: Time zone offset sets the clock +/- 23 hours from the received clock signal time.

US: Select the time zone: (P) Pacific,(E) Eastern, (C)

Central or (M) Mountain.

To select display mode:

Press MODE to choose between clock with seconds / weekday / calendar / moon phase.

This product forecasts the next 12 to 24 hours of weather within a 30-50 km (19-31 mile) radius with a

75% accuracy.

TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY

To toggle temperature unit:

Press °C / °F.

To auto-scan between sensors:

Press and hold+ MEM to display each sensor’s data for 3 seconds.

To end press .

To toggle between current, minimum and maximum records for the selected sensor:

Press MEM repeatedly.

To clear the records:

Press and hold MEM.

ICE WARNING

If the channel 1 sensor falls between 3°C to -2 °C (37°F to 28°F), LED indicator will flash, and will stop flashing once the temperature is out of this range.

WEATHER TRENDS

The temperature, humidity and pressure trend icons are based on recent sensor readings.

Press RESET to return to the default settings.

•Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type. Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries.

•Do not dispose old batteries as unsorted municipal waste. Collection of such waste separately for special treatment is necessary.

•If you do not plan to use the product for a long time, remove the batteries. Batteries can leak chemicals that can damage electronic parts.

Le icone relative alla tendenza barometrica, a quella della temperatura e a quella dell’umidità si basano sulle recenti rilevazioni del sensore.

ed elettroniche (RAEE)” ed ai sensi dell’art.22 del Decreto Legislativo 188 del 20 novembre 2008 “Attuazione della direttiva 2013/56/EU concernente pile, accumulatori e relativi rifiiuti ”.

Il simbolo del cassonetto barrato riportato sull’apparecchiatura o sulla sua confezione indica che il prodotto alla fiine della propria vita utile deve essere raccolto separatamente dagli altri rifiiuti per permetterne un adeguato trattamento e riciclo.

Si ricorda che le pile/accumulatori devono essere rimosse dall’apparecchiatura prima che questa sia conferita come rifiiuto.

Per rimuovere le pile/ accumulatori fare riferimento alle specifiiche indicazioni riportate nel manuale d’uso.

L’utente dovrà, pertanto, conferire gratuitamente l’apparecchiatura e la pila giunta a fiine vita agli idonei centri comunali di raccoltadifferenziata dei rifiiuti elettrici ed elettronici, oppure riconsegnarle al rivenditore secondo le seguenti modalità:

• sia pile portatili sia apparecchiature di piccole dimensioni, ovvero con almeno un lato esterno non superiore a 25 cm,

è prevista la consegna gratuita senza obbligo di acquisto presso i negozi con una superfiicie di vendita delle apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche superiore ai 400 mq. Per negozi con dimensioni inferiori, tale modalità è facoltativa.

•per apparecchiature con dimensioni superiori a 25 cm, è prevista la consegna in tutti i punti di vendita in modalità 1 contro 1, ovvero la consegna al rivenditore potrà avvenire solo all’atto dell’acquisto di un nuovo prodotto equivalente, in ragione di uno a uno.

L’adeguata raccolta differenziata per l’avvio successivo dell’apparecchiatura e delle pile/accumulatori dismessi al riciclaggio, al

trattamento e allo smaltimento ambientalmente compatibile contribuisce ad evitare possibili effetti negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute e favorisce il reimpiego e/o riciclo dei materiali di cui essi sono composti.

Lo smaltimento abusivo di apparecchiature, pile ed accumulatori da parte dell’utente comporta l’applicazione delle sanzioni di cui alla corrente normativa di legge.

INSÉREZ LES PILES

1. Retirez le couvercle du compartiment des piles. 2. Insérez les piles en respectant les polarités(voir FIG 2).

3. Appuyez sur REINITIALISER (RESET) après chaque

changement de piles.

SONDE SANS FIL

L’appareil principal est à même de collecter les données de 3 sondes maximum.

Pour installer le capteur :

1.Ouvrez le couvercle du compartiment des piles (voir FIG 3).

2.Sélectionnez un canal puis appuyez sur RESET.

3.Fermez le couvercle du compartiment des piles.

4.Installez le capteur à 30 m maximum (98 pieds) de l’appareil principal à l’aide du support de table ou de la fixation murale.

CONSEIL Les emplacements idéaux pour le capteur sont dans tout endroit extérieur à l’habitat, à une hauteur ne dépassant pas les 1.5m (5 pieds) et permettant de le protéger contre la lumière directe du soleil ou de conditions humides, afin d’obtenir une lecture précise.

REMARQUE Utilisez des piles alcalines pour un usage prolongé et des piles au lithium pour la consommation lors de basses températures (gel).
