IMPORTANT: Read instruction manual carefully before
using this device. PRECAUTIONS A. Use this device only as an aerosol therapy system, following
the directions of your doctor. Any other kind of use consti­tutes an improper use and is therefore dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any damage caused by improper, incorrect or unreasonable use, or if the unit is connected to electrical installations which do not conform to safety regulations.
B. Keep this manual for future reference and for technical information. C. Do not operate the unit in the presence of anesthetic gases
which might be flammable when they come in contact with air, oxygen or nitrous oxide.
D. The correct device functioning can be affected by electro-
magnetic interferences exceeding the limits indicated by the European standard EN60601-1-2 and FCC 47CFR part 15.
E. In case of failure and/or malfunction, turn the device off and
read the instruction manual. Should the device keep on operating improperly, even if the instructions for use have been followed, contact Omron customer service.
Never open
the compressor main unit.
F. F or any repairs, refer only to a qualified technical service
representative authorized by the manufacturer. Otherwise the safety of the device can be compromised.
G. When using any electrical appliance certain important safety
measures must always be observed, in particular;
• use only manufacturer’s accessories and components;

• use only manufacturer’s accessories and components;
• do not immerse the device in water;
• do not touch the device with wet or moist hands;
• do not leave the device exposed to weather;
• the device, when operating, must be placed on a stable and horizontal surface;
• when used by children or persons with disabilities this unit requires adult supervision;
• do not pull on the power supply cord or the device to
unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
H. For travel outside North America, you may need a plug
adapter for the power supply. Before plugging the device into the power supply, make sure that the electric data, indi­cated on the rating label on the bottom of the unit and/or of the AC adapter, correspond to the power supply ones. If the plug the device is equipped with is not compatible with the power supply, refer to qualified personnel for replacing the plug with a suitable one. Generally, it is not advisable to use any adapter, simple or multiple, and/or extension cord. In case their use is necessary, make sure they are in compliance with the safety standards, paying attention they do not exceed the maximum values indicated on the adapters and extension cords.
I. Do not leave the unit plugged in when not in use: unplug
the device from the electrical supply when not operating.
J. Follow instructions carefully for operating the device. The
manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by incorrect operation.
K. In case of failure or damage to the adapter only use manufac-
turer’s original replacement parts. The use of an improper adapter might modify the performances without assuring the safety conditions of the unit.

L. The adapter cords should always be fully unwound in order
to prevent dangerous overheating.
M. Before performing any maintenance or cleaning operation,
disconnect the device from the electrical supply.
N. Some parts of the unit are so small that children could
swallow them; therefore keep the device out of the reach of children.

• use this device only with the medications prescribed by
your doctor;
• follow the directions of your doctor when taking your treatments.

Check the unit for proper operation before each use.
This unit has been designed for intermittent use. Normal treatment time should be 5 to 10 minutes. Turn off the unit after 20 minutes of use, and allow unit to cool down 40 minutes before turning it on again.
1. As soon as you have unpacked the device check it for visible damages or defects.
2. Check that accessories are complete and not damaged.
3. Before using the device, proceed with the cleaning operations as described in the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section.
4. Remove the lid from the main unit body (pic. 11).
5. Make sure that the nebulizer top is in the “Stand-by” position (pic. 12), i.e.:
• the nebulizer top is seated snugly on the nebulizer body and it is properly positioned in the nebulizer seat;
• the arrow indicators between the nebulizer top and the
nebulizer seat are aligned.
6. Pull the nebulizer kit out from the “stand-by” position (pic. 13).
7. Open the nebulizer by pulling the top up (pic. 13).
8. Make sure that the micronization cone (blue color) is correctly positioned inside the nebulizer chamber (pic. 15).
9. Pour the prescribed medication into the nebulizer body (pic.
18) as instructed by your doctor, paying attention not to exceed the maximum allowed quantity (7 ml.).
Caution: Never pour medication into the nebulizer seat (pump) area of the compressor. Pump damage will occur. Place medication in the nebulizer cup only.

10. Close the nebulizer by firmly pressing the top onto the nebu­lizer body until a click is heard (pic. 17).
11. P lace the nebulizer kit in the “stand-by” position, making sure it is firmly pressed into its seat (pic. 18).
12. R otate the nebulizer top until the desired position is reached (pic. 19). Connect the mouthpiece or mask (not included).
13. Connect the power supply cord to the adapter and insert the plug into the electrical outlet. Make sure that the electric ratings shown on the adapter rating label correspond to the electrical supply. Insert the AC plug of the adapter into the socket on the side of the main unit (pic. 20).
14. The unit can be alternatively used with DC Auto Cable plug (not included) (pic. 9) or with the rechargeable battery pack (not included) (pic. 10).
15. Turn the device on by pushing the ON/OFF button (pic. 21) and inhale as prescribed by your doctor.
16. F or correct operation of the device, do not position the unit more than 30°. Positioning the unit beyond 90° will result in medication spillage (pic. 22).
17. When treatment has been completed, turn the unit off. Unplug the adapter, remove the mouthpiece or mask, rotate the nebulizer top into the “STAND-BY” position, pull out the nebulizer kit and proceed with cleaning operations as described in the “CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE” section.
