Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung ausführlich, um eine uneingeschränkte und fehlerfreie Funktion des

Installation

1. Verbinden Sie die „HDMI IN“ Buchse des Falcon HD Transmitter mit einem Quellgerät (DVD-, BluRay­Player, PC). Hierzu können Sie eines der mitgelieferten HDMI-Kabel verwenden. Sie können gleichzeitig
den „HDMI OUT“ Ausgang des Transmitters benutzen, um das HDMI-Signal an ein weiteres Gerät zu
übermitteln.

2. Verbinden Sie die „HDMI OUT“ Buchse des Falcon HD Receivers mit einem Ausgabegerät (TV, Monitor,
Beamer). Hierzu können Sie eines der mitgelieferten HDMI-Kabel verwenden.

3. Verbinden Sie den IR Emitter (2,5mm Klinkenstecker) mit der IR OUT Buchse des Falcon HD
Transmitter. Platzieren Sie den IR Emitter so, dass er auf den IR Sensor des Quellgerätes zeigt.

4. Verbinden Sie den IR Receiver (3,5mm Klinkenstecker) mit der IR IN Buchse des Falcon HD Receiver.
Platzieren Sie den IR Receiver so, dass Sie diesen mit dem IR Signal Ihrer Fernbedienung des
Quellgerätes erreichen können.

5. Verbinden Sie den Falcon HD Transmitter mit beiliegendem Netzteil.

6. Verbinden Sie den Falcon HD Receiver mit beiliegendem Netzteil.

7. Achten Sie darauf, dass Transmitter und Receiver mit den richtungsweisenden Dreiecken der
Oberseite aufeinander zu zeigen. So kann die beste Übertragungsqualität erreicht werden.

8. Die Installation ist nun abgeschlossen. Wenn noch kein Bild auf dem Ausgabegerät angezeigt wird,
drücken Sie zuerst die Mode Taste des Receivers und danach die Mode Taste des Transmitters. Nun
sollte die Verbindung hergestellt und ein Bild auf dem Ausgabegerät zu sehen sein.

Bedienung

1. Um eine Verbindung zwischen Receiver und Transmitter herzustellen drücken Sie zuerst den Pairing
Knopf des Receivers.

2. Nun sollte auf den Ausgabegerät ein Bild erscheinen mit dem Hinweistext: „Connecting through
Pairing“.

3. Drücken Sie nun den PAIRING Knopf des Transmitters.

4. Nach einigen Sekunden ist die Verbindung hergestellt und auf dem Ausgabegerät erscheint die
Meldung „Connected“. Das Videosignal des Quellgerätes wird nun übertragen.

Fehlerbehebung

1. Falls kein Bild auf dem Ausgabegerät erscheint:

· Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Geräte richtig verkabelt und angeschlossen sind. Dazu folgen Sie bitte
Schritt für Schritt der Installations- und Bedienungsanleitung.

· Achten Sie darauf, nur aktuelle HDMI „High Speed“ Kabel zu verwenden. Um eine uneingeschränkte
Signalübertragung zu gewährleisten, sollten Sie Oehlbach HDMI Kabel verwenden.

· Falls dennoch kein Bild erscheint, trennen Sie bitte die Stromversorgung des Falcon HD und starten
Sie Receiver und Transmitter neu.

2. Wenn kein Ton auf dem Ausgabegerät zu hören ist:

· Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle die Lautstärke des Ausgabegerätes korrekt eingestellt ist.

· Achten Sie darauf, dass die verwendeten HDMI Kabel korrekt in der Buchse stecken.

· Es kann sein, dass die Verbindung, bedingt durch HDCP, nicht korrekt funktioniert. Starten Sie Receiver
und Transmitter neu, indem Sie beide vom Netz trennen und wieder verbinden.

3. Wenn das Bild instabil ist oder Pixelfehler auftreten:

· Platzieren Sie den Falcon HD Transmitter und Receiver so, dass die dreieckförmigen Richtungsweiser
aufeinander zu zeigen. So ist die bestmögliche Übertragungsqualität gewährleistet.

· Es kann vorkommen, dass andere Elektro-Geräte (z.B. WiFi-Router, Mikrowellen, etc...) die Signale
des Falcon HD stören. Platzieren Sie daher den Receiver und Transmitter so, dass eine ausreichende
Distanz zu hochfrequent ausstrahlender Elektronik besteht.

· Die Distanz zwischen Transmitter und Receiver kann zu groß sein oder es befinden sich störende
Gegenstände oder Wände dazwischen. Versuchen Sie einen alternativen Aufstellungsort zu wählen.

4. Wenn die IR Übertragung für die Fernbedienung nicht funktioniert:

· Überprüfen Sie, ob der IR Emitter korrekt mit dem Transmitter verbunden und so platziert ist, dass
das Signal die IR-Diode des Quellgerätes erreichen kann. Der IR Emitter sollte möglichst nah an die
IR-Diode platziert werden.

· Die IR Übertragungsfunktion des Falcon HD arbeitet mit einer Frequenz von 30...60 kHz. Einige wenige
Fernbedienungen verwenden eine andere Übertragungsfrequenz, so dass die Übertragung vom Falcon
HD nicht unterstützt wird.

Hinweise

Um die Gefahr von Feuer, elektrischem Kurzschluss oder Beschädigung des Produktes zu vermeiden befolgen Sie bitte
folgende Hinweise:

1. Setzen Sie das Produkt keinem Regen oder Feuchtigkeit aus. Stellen Sie keine mit Wasser gefüllten
Gefäße auf das Gerät.

2. Installieren Sie das Gerät nicht in ein Bücherregal, Einbauschrank oder in ähnlichem engem Raum.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät gut belüftet ist.

3. Um einem elektrischen Kurzschluss oder Brand in Folge von einer Überhitzung vorzubeugen, sollten
Sie das Gerät nicht bedecken oder Gegenstände auf das Gerät stellen.

4. Positionieren Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Wärmequellen wie Heizungen, Öfen, etc..

5. Nicht in der Nähe von offenem Feuer oder Kerzen benutzen.

6. Reinigen Sie das Gerät nur mit einem trockenen Tuch.

7. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker während einem Gewitter oder wenn das Gerät für längere Zeit nicht
benutzt wird.

8. Schützen Sie das Netzkabel vor Gewalteinwirkung wie Quetschen oder Stößen.

9. Benutzen Sie nur das mitgelieferte Zubehör.

10. Im Servicefall wenden Sie sich bitte nur an qualifiziertes Servicepersonal.

5. Von der Garantie ausgenommen sind:

· Leuchtmittel

· Verschleißteile

· Transportschäden, sichtbar oder unsichtbar (Reklamationen für solche Schäden müssen umgehend
bei der Transportfirma, Bahn oder Post eingereicht werden.)

· Kratzer in Metallteilen, Frontabdeckungen u.s.w. (Diese Defekte müssen innerhalb von 5 Tagen
nach Kauf direkt bei Ihrem Händler reklamiert werden.)

· Fehler, die durch fehlerhafte Aufstellung, falschen Anschluss, unsachgemäße Bedienung (siehe

Installation

1. Connect the „HDMI IN“ connector of the Falcon HD transmitter to a source device (DVD, BluRay player,
PC). You can do this using the HDBI cable provided. You can use the „HDMI OUT“ output on the trans­mitter at the same time to transmit the HDMI signal to another device.

2. Connect the „HDMI OUT“ connector of the Falcon HD receiver to an output device (TV, monitor, projec­tor). You can do this using the HDBI cable provided.

3. Connect the IR emitter (2.5mm jack plug) to the IR OUT socket on the Falcon HD transmitter. Position
the IR emitter in such a way that is it pointing towards the IR sensor of the source device.

4. Connect the IR receiver (3.5mm jack plug) to the IR IN socket of the Falcon HD receiver. Position the
IR receiver in such a way that you can reach this with the IR signal from your source device remote
control.

5. Connect the Falcon HD transmitter to the power adaptor provided.

6. Connect the Falcon HD receiver to the power adaptor provided.

7. Make sure the transmitter and receiver are pointing towards each other using the triangular indicators
on the top as a guide. This enables the best transmission quality to be achieved.

8. The installation is now complete. If no image is displayed on the output device, first press the Mode
button on the receiver and then the Mode button on the transmitter. The connection should now be
established, with an image displayed on the output device.

Operation

1. To establish a connection between the receiver and the transmitter, first press the PAIRING button on
the receiver.

2. An image should now appear on the output device with the message: „Connecting through Pairing“.

3. Then press the PAIRING button on the transmitter.

4. The connection is established after a few seconds and the „Connected“ message appears on the
output device. The video signal of the source device is then transmitted.

Troubleshooting

1. If no image appears on the output device:

· Make sure all the devices are wired and connected correctly. To do this, follow the installation and
operating instructions step by step.

· Make sure you only use up-to-date HDMI „high-speed“ cables. To guarantee unrestricted signal
transmission, you should use Oehlbach HDMI cables.

· If an image still does not appear, disconnect the power supply from the Falcon HD and restart the
receiver and transmitter.

2. If no sound can be heard on the output device:

· Make sure the volume of the output device is set correctly.

· Make sure that the HDMI cables used are plugged into the sockets correctly.

· The connection may not be functioning correctly due to HDCP. Restart the receiver and transmitter by
disconnecting both from the power supply and then reconnecting them.

3. If the image is unstable or pixel errorrs occur:

· Position the Falcon HD transmitter and receiver in such a way that the triangular indicators are poin­ting towards each other. This guarantees the best possible transmission quality.

· It is possible that other electrical devices (e.g. wifi routers, microwaves, etc.) may interfere with the
signals from the Falcon HD. For this reason, position the receiver and transmitter in such a way that
they are far enough away from high-frequency emitting electronics.

· The distance between the transmitter and receiver can be too great or there are interfering objects or
walls in the way. Try to find an alternative installation location.

4. If the IR transmission for the remote control does not work:

· Check that the IR emitter is connected correctly to the transmitter and is positioned in such a way that
the signal can reach the IR diode of the source device. The IR emitter should be positioned as close as
possible to the IR diode.

· The IR transmission function of the Falcon HD operates at a frequency of 30...60 kHz. A few remote
controls use a different transmission frequency, with the result that the transmission from Falcon HD is
not supported.

Remarks

Please observe the following instructions in order to prevent any risk of fire, short-circuits or damage to
the product:

1. Do not expose the product to rain or moisture. Do not place any containers filled with water on the
product.

2. Do not install the product in a bookcase, fitted cupboard or similarly enclosed spaces. Please ensure
that there is sufficient ventilation for the product.

3. You should not cover the product or place items on the product in order to prevent short-circuits or
fire due to overheating.

4. Do not place the product in proximity to sources of heat, e.g. heaters, stoves, etc.

5. Do not use the product in proximity to naked flames or candles.

6. Only use a dry cloth to clean the product.

7. Disconnect the power plug during a thunderstorm or if the device is not used for a longer period of
time.

8. Protect the power cable against external forces such squeezing, crushing or impact.

products are continuously inspected and checked throughout the entire manufacturing process. If service
is necessary, however, please observe the following:

1. The warranty period starts with the purchase of the product and only applies to the original owner.

2. During the warranty period we will rectify any defects that are due to faulty material or workmanship

by replacing or repairing the defective part at our discretion. Further claims, and in particular those for
price reduction, cancellation of sale, compensation for damage or subsequent damage, are excluded.
The warranty period is not affected by any work we provide under the warranty.

3. The product should not be tampered with.

4. In the event of a warranty claim please contact your authorised dealer first. Should it prove necessary

to return the product to us, please ensure that

· the product is sent in its original factory packaging in good condition,

· your proof of purchase is enclosed.

5. The following are excluded from the warranty:

· Illuminants

· Wear parts

· Shipping damages, either readily apparent or concealed (claims for such damages must be lodged
immediately with the shipping agent, the railway express office or the post office).

· Scratches in metal components, front panels, etc. (You must notify your authorised dealer directly of
such defects within 5 days of purchase).

· Defects caused as a result of incorrect installation, faulty connection, improper operation (see user
manual), overloading or external force.

Installation

1. Raccordez la fiche « HDMI IN » du Falcon HD Transmitter à un périphérique source (lecteur de DVD,
BluRay, PC). Vous pouvez utiliser pour cela l‘un des câbles HDMI fournis. Vous pouvez utiliser en
même temps la sortie « HDMI OUT » du Transmitter afin de transmettre le signal HDMI jusqu‘à un
appareil supplémentaire.

2. Raccordez la fiche « HDMI OUT » du Falcon HD Receiver à un périphérique de sortie (téléviseur, écran,
projecteur). Vous pouvez utiliser pour cela l‘un des câbles HDMI fournis.

3. Raccordez l‘IR Emitter (prise jack 2,5 mm) à la fiche IR OUT du Falcon HD Transmitter. Installez l‘IR
Emitter face à l‘IR Sensor du périphérique source.

4. Raccordez l‘IR Receiver (prise jack 3,5 mm) à la fiche IR IN du Falcon HD Receiver. Installez l‘IR
Receiver de manière à pouvoir l‘atteindre avec le signal IR de la télécommande du périphérique
source.

5. Raccordez le Falcon HD Transmitter au bloc d‘alimentation fourni.

6. Raccordez le Falcon HD Receiver au bloc d‘alimentation fourni.
