Caution on use
Safety precautions
Chemical solution
If the internal material comes in contact with the hands or skin,
wash immediately with water.
Glass fragments
Glass fragments can cause injury.
The tip of the sensor cartridge are made of glass.
Be careful not to break them.
Points of concern
Do not give an excessive shock to the sensor cartridge.
Cracked or chapped sensor cartridge can not be used.
Replace such sensor cartridge with a new one.
Avoid continuous measurement soaking in the strong
acidic or alkaline solution concentrated more than 0.01
mol/L. These solution may reduce the performance and
the lifetime of the
sensor cartridge.
Do not to use the sensor cartridge in a solution in which
hydrofluoric acid
(HF) is contained. Glassware will
corrode in the HF solution.
Avoid sudden temperature change over 50 °C on the
sensor cartridge. The
the glassware might be cracked.
Solid particles of silver chloride might be observed
sensor body might be deformed or
floating in the inner solution of the responsive glass
membrane. This is not a problem and this will not affect
performances of the
sensor cartridge.
Do not use (store) the sensor cartridge in any place
where
the operation temperature (storage temperature)
is out of the specified range.
When disposing of the product, follow the related laws
and/or regulations of your country for disposal of the
product.

Installation procedure
1. Remove the rubber cap of the plug.
2. Connect the slot of the sensor cartridge with the marker
of the sensor head and push into the sensor head.
3. Tighten the nut firmly until the nut is totally tight on the
sensor head.
Push the plug into the sensor head keeping connecters dry.
Avoid using a rusted plug.
In the absence of O-ring or in the case where the nuts is not
tight enough, liquids might flow into the connection space
and cause malfunction.
After replacement of sensor cartridge, perform calibration
before measurement. Refer to the instruction manual of the
meter.
Maintenance and storage
Refer to the instruction manual of the meter for details.
Do not dry the responsive glass membrane and the liquid
