you need to find your own sense of style, and it doesn’t take brute force attitude — just the wisdom to know that
authenticity is somewhere between robust and refined.
The u nrivaled des ign blends dimensional detailing w ith the co mfort of an Unobtaini um® rubber strap. A quartz
tuning fork vibrates 32,768 times to count each second of precise movement. Beneath a pure sapphire crystal
with an ti-reflective coating, the dimensionally layered dial face features a three-hand analog displ ay and a da te
indicator. A dual-sealed crown maintains water resistance that can withstand pressure equivalent to a depth
of 330 feet (100 meters) be low the surface. The Oak ley Warran t™ wristwa tch comes with the endur ance of a
45-month battery and the style of an absolute original.
SETTING THE DATE AND TIME
The crown can be pulled out to two click positions for
setting the date a nd time.
To set the date and time the first time (or to reset
the date and time after the battery is changed), do
the following:
1. Pull the crown out to the first click position (a).
2. Turn the crown until yesterday’s date appears.
3. Pull the crown out to the second click position (b).
4. Turn the hands forwa rd until today’s date appears,
then continue forward until the current time is
reached. If th e current time is in the afternoon or
evening, move the hour h and all the way around
the dial to pass 12 o’clock noon.
5. Push the crown back down.
To set the exact second, wait until the second-
counting hand reaches “60” before you pull out the
crown. Set the time then wait until the exact second
is reached before pushing the crown back down.

If the current time is between 10:30 PM and mid-
night, set the date to th e follo wing d ay. (T his is
necessar y to ensure t he date displ ay will norma lly
change at midnight instead of 12 noon.)

When th e timepiece is not in use, the battery life can be p rolonged by pu lling the cro wn out to the second click
position (b). This will stop t he hands and reduce powe r consumption by approxim ately 70%.
BATTERY REpLACEmENT
The miniatu re battery that powers the time piece is designed to last appr oximately 45 months. Howev er,
because the battery is in serted a t the factory for extensive performance checks, its actual life, once in your
possessi on, may be less.
Battery replacement may be performed only by an Autho rized Oakle y Service Center. A ny attempt to open the
watch case by persons other than Authorized Oakley Service Professionals will void the product warranty.

BANd AdjuSTmENT
Not all Oakley Timepieces are available with a metal bracelet, leather strap or rubber strap; refer to the information below as it applies to your watch.
METAL BRACELET MODEL
If links need to b e added or remov ed from the ban d, the adjustment should be done by an Authorized Oakley
Timepiec e Deal er. D o not attem pt to shorte n the brace let b y remo ving l inks yourself, as this may r esult in
damage.
RUBBER STRAp MODEL
For the righ t fit, some rub ber strap models with de ployant c lasp closu res may require trimming of the rubber
strap itself. An Authorized Oakley Timepiece Dealer should do the adjustment. Do not attempt to shorten the
rubber strap yourself, as this may result in damage.
LEATHER STRAp MODEL
The natural leather of the strap may stretch slightly during break-in, so adjust the fit accordingly.
LEAThER CARE
Even the highest quality leather has a finite lifespan that may be reduced by excess wear and tear, exposure to
the natu ral acids in perspiration, a nd exposure to the environme nt. To maximiz e the longevit y of natural leather
componen ts in the leath er strap model , avoid direct contact with s olvents and oth er chemicals; a void prolonged
exposure to sunlight ; and avoid soaking the components in water.
CLEANiNg
Failure to keep the case and band clean may result in a skin rash. Use a soft, clean cloth to wipe off any moisture
that adheres to the case or band.

WATER EXPOSURE
Prior to exposing the timepiece to w ater, e nsure t he crow n is pushed fully down against the case. Rated at
10-bar hydrophobic, th e timepiece ma y be worn dur ing bathing, s wimming and sh allow diving. It is not des igned
for s cuba or saturation diving. Do not pull out the crown if the time piece is wet. If used in seawater, r inse the
timepiec e with fresh water a nd dry completely . For leather strap model, av oid soak ing the strap, as th is may
damage the natural leather.
TEMPERATURE
For precision timekeeping, normal operating temperature is 0°C to 50°C (32°F to 122°F).
MAGNETISM
Strong magnetic fields can have an adverse affect on the timepiece. Keep it away from magnetic objects.
CHEMICALS
The timepiece may become discolored or damaged if exposed to cosmetic spray, detergents, adhesives, solvents,
or paints.
SHOCK WAVE
Although the timepiece resists shock damage, impact against a hard surface may cause damage to the movement or crystal.
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
To ens ure that th e case, cro wn, crystal seal, and gasket remain resistant to water ex posure, it is recommende d
that the timepiece be inspected once every 2 to 3 years at an Authorized Oakley Service Center.

two full years from the date of purchase. Coverage is valid only with proof of purchase from an Authorized Oakley
Timepiece Dealer.
IMPORTANT
This limited warranty does not cover the crystal, strap/band/bracelet, or attachments. The deterioration of
leather componen ts is not covered, nor ar e scratc hes to the case c aused by use, nor is moi sture da mage if
the timepiece is a non -hydrophobic model, nor is d amage c aused b y natura l disas ter suc h as fire, flood, or
earthquake. We reserve the right to relinquish all responsibility under this guarantee for repair of damage
when mis use or abuse i s evident, incl uding defects r elated to tamp ering or servic ing done by age nts other than
Authorized Oakley Service Facilities. This warranty does not affect specific legal rights of the consumer.

AJUSTE INICIAL DE FECHA Y HORA
La corona es extraíble a través de dos posiciones
ajustabl es para fech a y hora.
Para ajustar fecha y hora por primera vez (o para
reajustarlas después de cambiar la pila), proceda de
la siguiente manera:
1. Extraiga la corona hasta la primera posición
ajustable (a).
2. Gire la corona has ta que aparezc a la fecha de
ayer.
3. Tir e de la coro na h asta la s egunda posici ón
ajustable (b).
4. Gir e l as m anecilla s ha cia delante ha sta que
aparezca la fecha de hoy; continúe girándolas
hacia delante hasta al canzar la hora actual. Si la
hora actual correspond e a la tarde o noche , gire
el horario una vuelta completa de la esfera hasta
rebasar las 12 en punto del mediodía.
5. Vuelva a introducir la corona. Para ajustar al
segundo exacto, espere hasta que el segundero
alcance “60” antes de extraer la corona. Ajuste
la hora y luego e spere hast a alcanza r el segundo
exacto, antes de volver a introducir la corona.

AjuSTE dE LA CORREA
No todo s los relojes Oakley se pued en conseguir c on pulsera me tálica, correa de piel o de goma. Busque en los
párrafos siguientes la información válida para su reloj.
MODELO CON pULSERA METÁLICA
Si nec esita quitar o añadir e slabones a la pulsera, el ajuste deberá ser hecho por un distribuidor autorizado de
relojes Oakley. No intente acortar la pulsera quitando Ud mismo los eslabones, pues podría estropearla.
MODELO CON CORREA DE GOMA
Para un a juste correcto, algunos modelo s de correas de goma con broche de cierre desple gable podrían r equerir
recortar la propia corr ea. El ajuste de berá ser hecho por un distribu idor autorizado de relojes Oakl ey. No intente
acortar la correa de goma Ud mismo, pues podría estropearla.
MODELO CON CORREA DE pIEL
La piel natural de la correa podría estirarse ligeramente al ponérsela, de modo que quede perfectamente
ajustada.

pROTECCiÓN
EXPOSICIÓN AL AGUA
Antes de exponer el relo j al agu a, asegúrese de que la coron a está t otalmente in troducida e n la caja . Con un a
presión nominal hidrófoba de 10 bares, el reloj puede llevarse puesto durante el baño, la natación o el buceo a
poca profu ndidad. El reloj no está di señado para submarin ismo ni para buceo de satur ación. No extraiga la coron a
estando el reloj húmedo. Si se utiliza en el mar, aclare el reloj con agua dulce y séquelo completamente. En el
caso del modelo con correa de piel, evite mojar la correa, pues podría estropear la piel natural.
TEMPERATURA
Para que el reloj conserve su precisión, la temperatura normal de uso debe mantenerse entre 0ºC y 50ºC.
MAGNETISMO
Los campos magnétic os fuer tes pued en afect ar adve rsamente al r eloj. Ma nténgalo alejado de objetos
magnéticos.
PRODUCTOS QUÍMICOS
El r eloj puede perder e l color o resultar dañado s i se ex pone a c osméticos e n aerosol, detergentes , adhesivos,

pOUR RÉGLER L’HEURE ET LA DATE
La couronne permet de régler l’heure et la date de
la montre. Depuis sa position de base elle peut être
tirée pour atteindre deux positions, signalées chacune
par un « clic ».
Lors de la première utilisation (ou pour remettre à zéro
l’heure et la date après avoir changé la pile), réglez la
montre de la manière suivante :
1. Tirez la couronne jusqu’à la première position (a).
2. Tourn er la couronn e jusqu’à ce que la date
d’aujourd’hui s’affiche.
3. Tirez la couronne jusqu’à la seconde position (b).
4. Faites tourner les aiguilles dans le sens antihoraire
jusqu’à ce que la date d’hier s’affiche, puis faites
les tourner dans l’autre sens, jusqu’à ce que l’heure

5. Repoussez la couronne jusqu’à sa position de base
Pour régler les secondes, attendez que l’aiguille
des secondes arrive sur « 60 » avant de tirer la
couronne. Réglez l’heure, puis repoussez la couronne
au moment où votre horloge de référence passe à la
minute suivante.
