UNIT INSTALLATION:
1) Connect Yellow (+12) wire to constant power
(battery)
2) Connect Red wire (Accessory +12v) to a switched
power source and the Black wire (Ground -12v) to
chassis ground
3) Connect the Blue wire (remote out) to the amplier
4) Connect the AUX Input with any media player
5) Connect AUX output to amplier
NOTE:
When the XUBT3 is used with this wiring method, the
ON/OFF switch built into the device is by-passed and
will not function. The XUBT3 will turn on and off via
the switched power source.

UNIT INSTALLATION:
1) Connect Yellow wire (+12v) to a switched power
source and the Black wire (Ground -12v) to
chassis ground
2) Press the control knob and hold it for over 3
seconds until you see the blue LED light goes out
(OFF) or stays illuminated (ON)
3) Connect the Blue wire (remote out) to the amplier
4) Connect the AUX Input with any media player
5) Connect AUX output to amplier
NOTE:
When the XUBT3 is used with this wiring method, the
unit will need to be turned on manually.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS
1) Drill a 1-1/8” (30mm) diameter hole
2) Unscrew the locking nut on the back of the device
3) Slide the device through the hole and screw the
nut on the back side
4) The orientation of the unit can be adjusted by
loosening the unit at the back and rotating the device
NOTE:
Never attempt to open, repair or modify any part of
the unit. Doing so will void the warranty
IMPORTANT:
Check all local laws regarding the use of a mobile
phone and hands free kits while driving. If you use the
Bluetooth unit while driving, ensure your attention and
focus remains on driving safely.
PAIRING BLUETOOTH DEVICE
1) Go to settings on your device. Turn on Bluetooth
and search for XUBT3.
2) Select XUBT3 to pair your device
3) Once a device is paired to the XUBT3 it will
automatically reconnect to your device.
4) If there is no device for the XUBT3 to connect
to, it will automatically go into pairing mode to
connect with another device.

CONTROLS & OPERATION TROUBLE SHOOTING
Turn On and Off: Press and hold
Play music: Tap knob once
Pause music: Tap knob once to pause,
tap again to resume playing
Skip one track forward: Turn the knob clockwise
Skip one track back:
Turn the knob counter-clockwise
Adjust volume up:
Turn and hold the knob clockwise
Adjust volume down:
Turn and hold the knob counter-clockwise
Switch between Bluetooth and auxiliary input:
Double tap control knob rapidly to switch
between Bluetooth source and AUX input source
NOTE:
When XUBT3 is switched to AUX input source, the
yellow LED stays on
• Make sure volume is up on Bluetooth sources
• Conrm Pairing if no sound
• Ensure power, remote and ground connectors are
secure
• Check inline fuse
• Make sure power wire has voltage
• Conrm connection on XUBT3, AUX out and other
sources is secure

from the d ate of purchase, if it is properly used and maintained. If this p roduct prov es def ective in either material o r workmansh ip, NV X, at its
discret ion, will (a) repair the product, o r (b) r eplace the produc t, at no c harge for p arts or la bor. If the produc t model is no longer available an d
cannot be repaired effectively or replace d with an identi cal m odel, N VX at its sole option may replace the unit w ith a curre nt mod el of equal or
greater val ue. To obtain a repai r or replac ement unde r the term s of this war ranty, please return to d ealer rst, if poss ible, and the dealer wi ll direct
you accordingly for repairs or replacement. You will be required to submit a copy of the original receipt. Return shipping for exchanges/repairs is
the sole re sponsi bility of t he original retail pu rchaser.

Warranty Outside the U.S.
The Warranty on this product shall comply with applicable law when sold to a consumer outside of the United States. To obtain any applicable warranty
service, please contact the dealer from which you purchased this product, or the distributor that supplied this product.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU NEED WARRANTY OR SERVICE
Defective products should be returned to the place of purchase. Your authorized NVX dealer is trained
to handle and expedite any warranty claim. Assistance in locating an authorized dealer can be found
at nvx.com or by contacting NVX directly.

the foll owing in struc tions for warra nty se rvic e:
• Receive your RA Number from NVX online at nvx.com/support
• Package all defective components in the original packaging
(if available) or in a package that will prevent shipping damage.
• Package the original packaging in an additional shipping container
to avoid shipping damages and to comply with most shipping
couriers such as UPS and FedEx.
• Insure your return at the price paid as NVX is not responsible for
insurance losses or damages occurring in shipment to our facility.
• Clearly mark RA Number on the outside shipping container.
• Return only defective components as the return of functioning
items increases your return freight charges.
- Non-defective returns or products not eligible for warranty service
will be returned freight collect.
• Include a copy of the original receipt with the purchase date clearly
visible, and a “proof-of-purchase” statement listing the customer’s
name, dealer’s name and invoice number, and product purchased.
- Warranty expiration on items without proof-of-purchase will be
determined from type of sale and the manufacturing date code.
• Ship your package freight prepaid to the address below. Items
sent freight collect or COD will be refused.
