WARRANTY
Northstar Attachments LLC expressly warrants each new Bin Trailer to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one year after delivery to the original retail purchaser or first user of the product.
Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing and/or replacing, at our option, any part or parts within the applicable one year period, as set out above, which shall be returned by the owner to any Northstar authorized dealer or to the factory and which upon examination shall disclose to our satisfaction to be defective.
We may, as an option, elect to grant adjustments in the field through an authorized representative and may thereby elect to waive the requirement that parts be returned to our factory.
A new warranty period is not established for replacements. Replacements are warranted for the remaining portion of the one-year original warranty period. The repair or replacement of defective parts under this warranty will be made without charge to the owner except for transportation.
Warranty does not cover tires, hydraulic valves, hydraulic cylinders, electric switches, or accessories and other parts not manufactured by us but supplied with or as a part of our product. We will, however, obtain and pass on any adjustments provided by the manufacturers of such parts under those manufacturer’s warranties.
The provisions of this warranty do not apply to any product or parts, which have been subject to misuse, negligence or accident, or which have been repaired or altered outside of an authorized dealer in any way so as in the judgment would adversely affect its performance and reliability. Neither does this warranty apply to normal maintenance service and parts, or to normal deterioration due to wear and exposure.

MAINTENANCE
DAILY
1. Visually check for loose bolts or nuts.
2. Oil chain and grease tongue pivot pins liberally.
3. Grease 2" ball.
WEEKLY
1. Check for loose sprockets. Retighten if necessary.
2. Tighten main pick-up chain if necessary. Note: if tightening is necessary, the short drive chain must be loosened first and then retightened. Also replace the chain guard.
3. Grease drive shaft bearings. Note: grease only until bearing will not accept any more. To further pump grease into sealed bearings damages the seals.
AFTER FIRST 100 HOURS
1. Check all bolts and nuts for tightness. (If necessary use torque chart provided below.)
2. Check ground skids for excessive wear.
3. Check 2" ball and coupler for excessive wear.
4. Check idler sprockets for damaged bearings.

HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS
HYDRAULIC CONNECTION: Your Bin Trailer is supplied with Safeway or Pioneer tips. These will attach to most
tractor hydraulic systems. Contact your Northstar Attachments Dealer if other style of tips are necessary. (Note: always clean tips of dirt and oil before installing.) The hydraulic valve is set to operate with an open center hydraulic system. If your tractor has a closed center system, you will need to replace plug @ ‘A’ as shown below. ) The closed center plug is not supplied with your Bin Trailer.) Failure to change to a closed center
system will cause damage to your tractor hydraulic system.
HYDRAULIC OPERATION: Your Bin Trailer is operated with a 2 function or 3 function valve. Handles 1 and 2 are for
tilting of Bin Trailer and lowering of the axle. Handle 3 is for operating the pick-up chain. This function is supplied with a detent position that allows the operator to fully engage the pick-up chain while tilting or lowering the Bin Trailer. Note: while operating your Bin Trailer, you experience the inability to fully pick-up the fourth bin, you may need to adjust the hydraulic pressure @ ‘B’. (Remove the acorn nut and turn screw clockwise one turn for every 300 PSI. Your tractor will only produce about 2200PSI and the valve is factory set at 1500PSI.) If this does not correct the problem, your tractor may not have enough hydraulics to operate the Bin Trailer properly.
