About Nokia Music

Select .
With Nokia Music, you can buy and download songs to your phone and your computer. Browse Nokia Music, and discover new music and old favourites.
Different services and options are available, depending on your country of residence.
You can create a Nokia account, join Nokia Music, and sign in to your account using any of the following:
Your phone
A compatible web browser
If you already have a Nokia account, you can use that account for Nokia Music.
If you have any credit or downloads, or you have subscribed to unlimited downloading with your Nokia account, do not close the account. If you do, all these will be lost.
Get started with Nokia Music First time use
Select .
1 Select your country from the list. The country cannot be changed later. 2 If you are not connected to the internet, select Connect. 3 To sign in to your Nokia account, select > Sign in.

Sign in to Nokia Music

Select .
Select > Sign in, and enter your username and password.
Listen to, discover, and download music Browse and listen to different genres
Listen to the genre radio and browse popular artists by genre.

You can only skip 6 songs within an hour, and 12 within a 24-hour period.
Tip: If you find a song that you like while listening to the radio, you can easily buy it while you listen.

Search for music

You can search for music by artist, album, or song title.
Select .
Select , and enter search words.

Download music

Select .
1 Sign in to Nokia Music. 2 If you have a gift voucher or PIN code, to add credit to your account, redeem it
now.
3 Select the item to download. Some songs can only be downloaded as part of an
album.
4 Select the payment method, and complete the payment.
You can pay for music using a credit or debit card, or by buying pre-paid credit. If you use a credit or debit card to pay, the card must have been issued in the same country where your music store is located.
Tip: To avoid entering your payment card details over and over when buying music, you can save your details during the payment process. The details become your default payment method, but you can change the default method in your account details.
Tip: Want to try out a song before buying it? To listen to a 30-second sample clip, select the song.
Downloaded songs are saved to the memory card or mass memory of your phone. The songs are automatically added to your music collection. If you format the mass memory, you lose your songs.
View your active downloads
Select > Active downloads.

Tip: You can start listening to music as soon as a song has finished downloading.
Select next to the song.
Downloading music and other content may involve transfer of large amounts of data through your service provider’s network. For information about data transmission charges, contact your network service provider.
Where available, use a Wi-Fi connection to download music from Nokia Music. For further instructions on how to connect to the internet, see the user guide of your phone.
All intellectual property and other rights in and to the songs belong and are expressly reserved to third party licensors, such as the relevant record label or artist, author, composer, or publisher. You will only be entitled to use music downloaded from Nokia Music in accordance with the restrictions on use that apply to that particular piece of music as set out under "Rights" on the product pages of Nokia Music. Music that you purchased from other sources must be used in accordance with the terms of such purchase. You are responsible for your compliance with the applicable intellectual property and other rights in the music you use.

Redeem a gift voucher or a PIN code

Did you get a Nokia Music gift voucher or a PIN code? When you redeem it, you get credits that you can use for downloading music.

Select , and sign in to your account. 2 Select Redeem voucher. 3 Enter the voucher or PIN code, and select Redeem. 4 Read and accept the applicable terms and conditions.
When the voucher number has been redeemed, your account is credited with the number of downloads listed on the voucher. You also receive a confirmation mail.
Vouchers and PIN codes can only be redeemed within the time period indicated. After being redeemed, the validity of the promotion is limited. The expiry date is always specified when you redeem your voucher or PIN code. For more information, see the campaign-specific terms and conditions.
You can only redeem a voucher or PIN code once.

Manage your music Sync music between your phone and PC
You can use the Nokia Link PC application to sync music between your phone and PC. For detailed instructions, see the Nokia Link application help.

Recover your music

If your Nokia phone is sent for repair, it cannot be guaranteed that content on the phone will be preserved.
If your music is stored on your PC, you can use the Nokia Link PC application to back up your music to your PC. For more information, go to the Nokia Link support section.
You can also re-download the music through Nokia Music with your PC. You can re­download the same song 3 times without extra charge.
Before recovering your music
1 Use the Nokia Link PC application to back up the content of your phone memory
card or mass memory.
2 Format your memory card or mass memory. For more information, see the user
guide of your phone. This will delete all content. To preserve data, use Nokia Link to back up your data.
Recover your music if your music is stored on your PC
1 Use a compatible USB data cable to connect your phone to your PC, and on the
phone, select the mode that enables you to transfer media. For more information on the USB mode, see the user guide of your phone.
2 Open Nokia Link, and follow the displayed instructions.
Re-download songs using your PC
1 Before re-downloading, it is recommended that you delete cookies and
temporary internet files from your PC.
2 Sign in to your account, and select Account > Download history. 3 Select the music to re-download.

Some services may not be available in all countries, and may be provided only in selected languages. The services may be network dependent. For more information, contact your network service provider.
Contents of digital maps may sometimes be inaccurate and incomplete. Never rely solely on the content or the service for essential communications, such as in emergencies.
Some content is generated by third parties and not Nokia. The content may be inaccurate and is subject to availability.

View your location and the map

See your current location on the map, and browse maps of different cities and countries.
Select .
indicates your current location, if available. If your current location is not available, indicates your last known location.
Browse the map
1 Drag the map with your finger. By default, the map is oriented north. 2 You can also use two fingers to rotate the map.
To enable two-finger rotation, select > Settings, and activate Two-finger map
rotation.
View your current location
Select on the map.
