Page 6
TUBE CHARGING
The photo camera can be charged by connecting both the USB cable and a AC/DC adapter (not included) to a PC. The red LED will indicate that the photo camera is charging and will be off when the battery is fully charged. The charging operation will need 2 hours.
PLUGGING THE MEMORY CARD
Plug the MicroSD card (not included in the package) before the use. Make sure that the photo camera is off before inserting the card in the slot. Note:
The correct MicroSD inserting side is only one. Do not force when inserting as this may damage both the camera and the card. Please format the new MicroSD before the use.
TUBE HERMETIC CLOSING
TUBE allows an hermetic closing to water up to 10 meters (30 feet). It is necessary to close tightly the camera with the back cover to protect it, when used in wet conditions.
Rotate clockwise the cover on the back side of the TUBE to fix it, until the two black points are aligned; slide the lock on the back cover to block it. To unlock proceed backwards. Note:
Any failure to observe these precautions may cause the entrance of water in the electronic components of TUBE, with consequent damage to the device and
data loss.
The warranty does not cover damages caused by water or by misuse of the video camera. The rubber seal on the cover works as waterproof barrier to protect the photo camera in case of wet conditions or during diving and must be constantly kept cleaned. After the use in salty water wash the product outside and the seal with fresh water and wipe it carefully. Lack of cleaning may cause corrosion of the product or the breaking of the seal, with further damage to the TUBE.

HOW TO SWITCH ON/OFF
TUBE switch-on operation : Keep pressed the key; the photo camera will vibrate and the green LED will light on.
Switch-off operation: Keep pressed the key; the photo camera will vibrate for two seconds and the green LED will be off.
RECORDING VIDEOS
Before starting recording, select the video resolution. TUBE has two modes of video resolution, you can chose them sliding the switch on the back of the video
camera:
720p (1280x720).
WVGA (848x480).
When the video recording function starts the camera vibrates briefly and the red LED is on. You can activate the video recording function in two ways: With the photo camera in ON or OFF position, slide the switch towards the front side of the camera
to start recording: the red RED light will be visible. With the photo camera in OFF position and the switch already in REC position, keep the key
pressed to turn the photo camera on; it will start recording in this way. To stop recording slide back the switch again.
A brief vibration will indicate the end of recording, at the same time the led will turn to green and TUBE will enter the standby mode.
The same operation can be made by keeping the key to stop recording and to turn YUBE off. The photo camera will vibrate for two seconds and the red LED will be off. Notes
The video resolution cannot be modified during recording.
The photo camera will start recording after 2 or 3 seconds as it will verify firstly a sufficient
availability of space in the MicroSD card. If the memory is full the photo camera will vibrate for five seconds and the green LED will flash quickly.
