INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

trips or just to have fun around town. DOC AIR is environmentally friendly, does not pollute or make noise. You can meet your travel needs with a significant amount of fun for just a few cents a day. DOC AIR will take you anywhere in the city with a single charge. Easy to transport thanks to its fast folding mechanism and utility wheel. You can always help DOC AIR uphill by pushing with your feet and using it as a traditional push scooter. Use DOC AIR safety and conscientiously and always look out for pedestrians. Learn and observe applicable DOC AIR use regulations in effect where used.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE

• Users are held responsible for checking in advance what safety rules apply in

the country where they intend to use the DOC AIR. DOC AIR use may be prohibited in public areas or in areas subject to traffic regulations.

• Avoid use on gravel, sand, grass, slippery or wet surfaces. DOC AIR was

designed to be used on smooth and dry surfaces.

• Never drive near cliffs or precipices. DOC AIR was not designed to be driven in

these contexts. The retailer, distributor, importer and manufacturer cannot be held liable for driver injuries or DOC AIR and/or third party damages caused by this type of conduct.

• Never drive DOC AIR with several people on the board, this could cause you to

lose control of the vehicle.

• Never let unattended children near DOC AIR since this could be a hazard.

• Familiarise yourself with DOC AIR use and make sure all stops are tight before

use.

• Do not store the batteries near heat sources, they could explode.

• Do not leave the charger in damp or wet places and do not use it if damaged.

Routinely check the cable, plug and external casing. If damaged, it should not be used until repaired.

• Never use DOC AIR if not in perfect conditions.

• Never use DOC AIR if you are not in perfect psycho-physical conditions. People

who suffer from physical or mental disabilities should not, or should be prevented from using DOC AIR.

• We recommend you to push DOC AIR at start to reduce the load. This will

lengthen the DOC AIR working life.

• DOC AIR is not a toy.

• DOC AIR uses electricity and requires a transformer.

• Warning: electrical shock risks may arise using the transformer.

• We highly discourage use by anyone who cannot comfortably stand on it.

• Always learn and observe local laws and regulations applicable where the DOC

AIR is used.

• Always keep away from car and engine powered vehicle traffic and only use

DOC AIR where permitted and cautiously.

• Wet, slippery, cracked, irregular or rough surfaces can reduce traction and

increase the risk of accidents.

• Be careful of potential obstacles that could get caught in the wheels or force

you to suddenly swerve or lose control.

• Do not drive in the rain or when the outdoor temperature risks freezing

surfaces.

• Never submerge DOC AIR in water since electrical and drive components could

be damaged by water or generate hazardous conditions.

DOC AIR PARTS AND FRAME

USE The “thinking” part of your DOC AIR is concentrated in the handlebar.

Next to the handles you will find:

• the accelerator on the right

To turn DOC AIR on, gently press the multi-purpose button in the centre of the handlebars, and hold it down for about 2 seconds. The button will light up in purple and then turn green.

Use the multi-purpose button to select three different speeds for your DOC AIR.

CHANGING YOUR SPEED

When you turn it on, the led will turn green and the gear (borrowing from motorcycle terminology) will automatically be FIRST, the slowest gear. Press the multi-purpose button gently to put DOC AIR in SECOND gear, and the led will turn blue. To get more ”gas”, gently press it again to go into THIRD gear; the led will turn yellow.

ATTENTION: A STEADY RED LED MEANS THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH DOC AIR: DISMOUNT RIGHT AWAY! A FLASHING RED LED INDICATES A LOW BATTERY: STOP AND RECHARGE YOUR DOC AIR.

ACCELERATOR AND ELECTRONIC BRAKE

Using motorcycle terminology once again, on the handlebar of the DOC AIR you will find:

• the brake on the left (1)

• the accelerator on the right (2).

They are of course actually current controllers and inverters. Braking force is proportionate to the pressure exerted on the lever.

RELEASE THE ACCELERATOR WHEN BRAKING.

DRIVING

Drive DOC AIR like an ordinary scooter. Turn on DOC AIR before you get onto the board.

PRACTICE IN A LARGE OPEN SPACE FREE OF OBSTACLES FAVOURABLE CLIMATIC CONDITIONS BEFORE USING IT.

Place one foot on the board, press gently while accelerating and then put your other foot on the board.

IMPORTANT: CHECK LOCAL LAWS ON ANY SPEED LIMITS.

WARNINGS FOR USE AND SAFETY Carefully heed the following warnings for use.

Use DOC AIR sensibly and responsibly. DOC AIR is a hi-tech transport vehicle, but its incorrect and inappropriate use can cause injuries. In order to reduce any type of risk, we recommend you carefully heed the following warnings:

• Always wear shoes, a helmet and appropriate safety equipment such as knee pads, elbow pads and wrist bands. Using a firmly buckled skate helmet that provides cranial protection is recommended.

• Do not use without proper training; please read the manual before use. Otherwise, you could lose control of the vehicle and fall.

• Use by minors under 16 years of age is prohibited. Adult supervision isrequired for younger users.

• Pregnant women and people with disabilities should not use this vehicle.

• Do not use DOC AIR under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other substances

that could alter the user's reflexes.

• Do not transport objects during use.

• Pay attention to surrounding objects when driving. Keeping a good view of the

space used is essential to maintaining control.

• When driving, make sure that both feet are correctly placed on the board.

• We recommend wearing comfortable clothes during use.

• DOC AIR was designed to transport a single individual. Use by several

individuals simultaneously is prohibited.

• We recommend you do not suddenly or abruptly accelerate or stop the vehicle; these behaviours could cause you to lose control.

• Check DOC AIR before use.

• Perform maintenance after use.

• Make sure the brake works properly

• Do not use in dark or dimly lit areas.

• Make sure driving speed always permits safe stopping at any time and in an

ituation.

• We recommend you maintain a suitable safety distance from other vehicles

hen driving.

• Use with ice or snow, as well as on rocks, branches or other types of vegetation or with other objects on the ground that could jeopardise appropriate vehicle control is prohibited.

• Use in flammable environments is strictly prohibited.

• Do not climb on or off at high speed, on unpaved roads or slopes.

• Do not perform tricks, jumps or other hazardous manoeuvres.

• Do not rest any object on the board except your feet.

• Do not keep fingers near moving parts to avoid accidents.

Carefully reading this manual is essential for its correct use and to reduce personal injuries.

DOC AIR HAS ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS UNDER THE BOARD. PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS TO BE SURE YOU DON'T DAMAGE THEM:

• Do not place metal or sharp objects on the board.

• Do not use thinners or solvents to clean push scooter parts.

• Do not clean DOC AIR with a pressure cleaning or by submerging it in water; use a damp cloth to clean plastic parts.

• Do not puncture or remove any of DOC AIR parts.

MAKE SURE THE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED BEFORE USE.

USE AND TRAFFIC RULES

IN SOME COUNTRIES DOC AIR MUST BE USED ON PRIVATE GROUNDS ONLY WHERE NORMAL ROAD SAFETY RULES DO NOT APPLY.

SPECIFICALLY, IN SOME COUNTRIES, STATES OR CITIES, ELECTRIC PUSH SCOOTERS CANNOT CIRCULATE ON ROADS AND SIDE WALKS.

USERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR CHECKING THE SAFETY REGULATIONS APPLICABLE IN THE COUNTRY WHERE THEY INTEND TO USE THE DOC AIR BEFORE USING IT.

DOC AIR MAINTENANCE AND MANAGEMENT

BATTERY MANAGEMENT AND CHARGE

• Charge time: about 2-3 hours

• Make sure DOC AIR is off when charging.

• Only use the certified DOC AIR charger.

• Do not deform or alter the battery.

• Do not charge or leave the battery near heat sources.

• Avoid connecting the + and - poles with metallic objects.

• Store the battery separately to avoid it coming into contact with metallic

materials.

• Avoid subjecting the battery to violent hits such as throws or falls.

• Charge the battery at room temperature.

• Do not charge the battery in very humid areas.

• Do not use the charger if the cables or connectors are damaged.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Always disconnect DOC AIR from the charger before cleaning it with liquids.

• Do not use thinners or other solvents, alcohol or petrol to clean it, since they

could damage surfaces.

• Use a damp cloth to clean plastic parts.

• Do not clean DOC AIR with pressure jets or by submerging it in water.

• Carefully check the lock/release button.

• To lengthen working life, avoid parking DOC AIR outdoors or in humid or wet

areas.

BATTERY

• Turn off DOC AIR before charging it. Connect it to a power socket using the supplied cord and charger.

• Charging for too long (>4 hours) could damage the battery, reducing its duration.

• To extend the battery’s life, store DOC AIR when it is fully charged

• Store in a dark place at a temperature between 5-25°C.

• If not used for a long period of time, charge the battery once a month.

• Battery life depends on various factors such as weather, storage and use.

• Do not use the battery in the following cases:

• Do not touch any substance leaking from the battery.

• Do not allow children or animals to touch the battery.

• DOC AIR cannot be used when charging.

• Batteries contain hazardous substances. Do not open the battery and do not

TRANSPORT

If you intend to transport DOC AIR, including the battery, by plane or other transportation means managed by third parties, contact the local authorities and carrier in advance for information on transport restrictions or limits. International law prohibits shipping single lithium batteries by air. If you ship your DOC AIR, the battery must be inside.

LIMITAZIONI DI GARANZIA

L’acquirente decade dal diritto alla garanzia nei seguenti casi:

• Mancanza della prova di acquisto (fattura o scontrino fiscale).

• Manomissione e forzature di parti.

• Altri difetti derivanti da: uso improprio; modifiche non autorizzate; operazioni al di

PRECAUZIONI PER L’USO

• L’utilizzatore è tenuto a verificare preventivamente le norme sulla circolazione stradale in vigore nel Paese in cui DOC AIR sarà utilizzato. E’ possibile che l’impiego di DOC AIR sia vietato in aree pubbliche o comunque in aree soggette all’applicazione delle norme sulla circolazione stradale.

• Evitare l’uso su superfici con ghiaia, sabbia, erba, scivolose o bagnate. DOC AIR è stato progettato per essere usato su superfici lisce e asciutte.

• Non guidare mai in vicinanza di precipizi o dirupi. DOC AIR non è stato progettato per la guida in tali contesti. Il rivenditore, distributore, importatore e produttore non sono responsabili per lesioni al conducente o danni a DOC AIR e/o a terzi che possano essere causati da questo tipo di condotta.

• Non guidare mai DOC AIR con più persone sulla pedana, questo potrebbe causare la perdita di controllo del mezzo.

• Non lasciare mai bambini senza sorveglianza nelle vicinanze di DOC AIR,perché ciò potrebbe costituire un pericolo.

• Familiarizzare con l’uso di DOC AIR e controllare che tutti i fermi siano stretti bene prima dell’uso.

• Non immagazzinare le batterie nelle vicinanze di fonti di calore,potrebbero esplodere.

• Non lasciare il caricatore in posti umidi o bagnati e non usarlo se è danneggiato. Controllare con regolarità il cavo, la spina e l’involucro esterno. Se è danneggiato, non deve essere usato fino alla sua riparazione.

• Non usare mai DOC AIR se non risulta in perfette condizioni.

• Non usare mai DOC AIR se non si è in perfette condizioni psicofisiche. Le persone che soffrono di problemi fisici o mentali non devono, o va loro impedito di usare DOC AIR.

• Si consiglia di spingere DOC AIR in partenza per diminuire il carico. DOC AIR avrà così una vita più lunga.

• DOC AIR non è un giocattolo.

• DOC AIR usa l’energia elettrica e necessita di un trasformatore.

• Attenzione: con l’uso del trasformatore potrebbe verificarsi il rischio di shock

elettrico.

• È vivamente sconsigliato l’utilizzo a chiunque non riesca a prendere comodamente posto su di esso.

• Informarsi e rispettare sempre le leggi e le normative locali applicabili nei luoghi in cui DOC AIR è utilizzato.

• Tenersi sempre lontano dal traffico di autovetture e veicoli a motore e utilizzare DOC AIR solo dove permesso e con prudenza.

• Le superfici bagnate, scivolose, accidentate, irregolari o ruvide possono diminuire la trazione e aumentare il rischio di incidenti.

• Fare attenzione agli ostacoli potenziali che potrebbero impigliarsi nelle ruote o obbligare a sterzare improvvisamente o a perdere il controllo.

• Non guidare quando piove o quando la temperatura esterna espone al rischio di gelate delle superfici.

• Non immergere mai DOC AIR in acqua, poiché le componenti elettriche e di guida potrebbero essere danneggiate dall'acqua o generare altre condizioni pericolose.

ASSEMBLAGGIO

Appoggiare a terra DOC AIR e col

Sollevare l’asta del manubrio in funzione della propria altezza.

Inserire infine le manopole, come indicato in figura.

RIMOZIONE E INSTALLAZIONE BATTERIA

DOC AIR è dotato di batteria rimovibile Per la sua installazione e rimozione procedere come indicato in figura.

UTILIZZO La parte “pensante” del vostro DOC AIR è concentrata nel suo manubrio.

Accanto alle manopole troverete infatti:

• sulla parte destra l’acceleratore

• sulla parte sinistra il freno elettronico

• al centro il pulsante multifunzione.

ACCENSIONE E SPEGNIMENTO

Per accendere DOC AIR premere leggermente il tasto multifunzione posto al centroi del manubrio e tenere quindi inizialmente di viola e quindi diventerà verde.

Mediante il tasto multifunzione è possibile selezionare tre differenti velocità del vostro

automaticamente il cambio

CAMBIO VELOCITA’

DOC AIR. Alla accensione il led diventerà verde ed (utilizzando la stessa terminologia motociclistica) sarà in PRIMA, la marcia più lenta. Una lieve pressione del tasto multifunzione porterà DOC AIR in SECONDA ed il led si illuminerà di azzurro. Per avere più ”gas”, una ulteriore pressione vi porterà in TERZA ed il led diventerà giallo.

ATTENZIONE: IL LED ROSSO FISSO SEGNALA UNA SITUAZIONE DI ANOMALIA DI DOC AIR: SCENDERE SUBITO! IL LED ROSSO LAMPEGGIANTE INDICA, INVECE, LO STATO DI BATTERIA SCARICA: FERMARSI E RICARICARE IL VOSTRO DOC AIR.

ACCELERATORE E FRENO ELETTRONICO

Sempre seguendo la metodologia motociclistica, sul manubrio di DOC AIR troveremo:

• a sinistra il freno (1)

• a destra l’acceleratore (2).

GUIDA

DOC AIR si guida a tutti gli effetti come un comune monopattino. Accendere DOC AIR restando giù dalla pedana.

PRIMA DEL SUO UTILIZZO FARE PRATICA IN SPAZI AMPI, SENZA OSTACOLI ED IN CONDIZIONI CLIMATICHE FAVOREVOLI.

Salire sulla pedana con un piede, spingerlo leggermente accelerando nel contempo e quindi salire col secondo piede.

IMPORTANTE: VERIFICARE LA LEGISLAZIONE LOCALE RIGUARDO AD EVENTUALI LIMITAZIONI DI VELOCITÀ.

AVVERTENZE D’USO E SICUREZZA Seguire attentamente le seguenti avvertenze d’uso.

Utilizzare DOC AIR in modo consapevole e responsabile. DOC AIR è un mezzo di trasporto ad altissima tecnologia, ma il suo utilizzo scorretto o non idoneo possono causare lesioni. Al fine di ridurre al minimo rischi di ogni tipo si consiglia di seguire attentamente le seguenti avvertenze:

• Indossare sempre le scarpe, un casco e un appropriato equipaggiamento di sicurezza, come le ginocchiere, gomitiere e polsiere. Si consiglia l’utilizzo di un casco da skate ben allacciato che fornisca protezione per la zona cranica.

• Non utilizzare senza una formazione adeguata; si prega di consultare il manuale prima del suo utilizzo. In caso contrario si potrebbe perdere il controllo del mezzo e cadere.

• Il suo uso è vietato ai minori di 16 anni. Per età inferiori è necessaria la supervisione di un adulto.

• Sconsigliato a donne in stato di gravidanza e persone con disabilità.

• Non utilizzare DOC AIR sotto l’effetto di alcool, droghe o di altre sostanze che

possano alterare i riflessi dell’utente.

• Non trasportare oggetti durante l’utilizzo.

• Durante la guida prestare attenzione agli oggetti intorno. Mantenere una

buona visuale dello spazio in cui si sta utilizzando è fondamentale per mantenerne il controllo.

• Durante la guida assicurarsi che entrambi i piedi siano posizionati correttamente sulla pedana.

• Si consiglia di indossare abiti comodi durante il suo utilizzo.

• DOC AIR è costruito per trasportare una sola persona. Ne è vietato l’utilizzo da

parte di più persone contemporaneamente.

• Si consiglia di non accelerare e di non arrestare il veicolo in maniera improvvisa o eccessivamente brusca; tali comportamenti potrebbero causare la perdita del controllo.

• Controllare DOC AIR prima dell’uso.

• Eseguire la manutenzione dopo l’uso.

• Assicurarsi che il freno funzioni in modo corretto

• Non utilizzare in luoghi bui o poco illuminati.

• Assicurarsi che la velocità con cui viene utilizzato sia sempre tale da

consentirne l’arresto in sicurezza in qualsiasi momento e situazione.

• Si raccomanda di mantenere una distanza di sicurezza idonea dagli altri veicol durante la guida.

• Non è consentito l’utilizzo con ghiaccio o neve, così come su pietre, rami o altro tipo di vegetazione o in presenza di altri oggetti sul suolo che potrebbero compromettere un idoneo controllo del veicolo.

• È assolutamente vietato l’uso in ambienti infiammabili.

• Non salire o scendere ad alta velocità, su terreni sconnessi o in pendenza.

• Non eseguire acrobazie, non provare a saltare o eseguire altre manovre pericolose.

• Non appoggiare alcun oggetto sulle pedane ad eccezione dei piedi.

• Per evitare infortuni non tenere le dita in prossimità di parti in movimento.

La lettura accurata del presente manuale è fondamentale per il suo corretto utilizzo e per diminuire i possibili rischi alla persona.

DOC AIR È DOTATO DI COMPONENTI ELETTRONICHE AL DI SOTTO DELLA PEDANA SI PREGA DI SEGUIRE LE SEGUENTI ISTRUZIONI PER EVITARE DI DANNEGGIARLE:

• Non posizionare oggetti di metallo o oggetti appuntiti sulla piattaforma.

• Non usare diluenti o solventi per pulire parti del monopattino.

• Non lavare DOC AIR con un getto ad alta pressione o immergendolo in acqua;

utilizzare un panno umido per pulire le parti in plastica.

• Non bucare o rimuovere nessuna delle parti del vostro DOC AIR.

PRIMA DELL’USO VERIFICARE CHE LA BATTERIA SIA COMPLETAMENTE CARICA.

NORME DI UTILIZZO E CODICE STRADALE

IN ALCUNI PAESI DOC AIR PUÒ CIRCOLARE ESCLUSIVAMENTE IN AREE PRIVATE DOVE NON TROVINO APPLICAZIONE LE NORME DEL CODICE DELLA STRADA.

IN PARTICOLARE, IN ALCUNI PAESI, STATI O CITTÀ, I MONOPATTINI ELETTRICI NON POSSONO CIRCOLARE SULLE STRADE E SUI MARCIAPIEDI.

L’UTILIZZATORE E’ QUINDI TENUTO, PRIMA DI UTILIZZARE DOC AIR, A VERIFICARE LE NORME SULLA CIRCOLAZIONE STRADALE APPLICABILI NEL PAESE IN CUI DOC AIR SARÀ UTILIZZATO.

MANUTENZIONE E GESTIONE DI DOC AIR

GESTIONE E RICARICA DELLA BATTERIA

• Tempo di ricarica: 2-3 ore circa.

• Assicurarsi che DOC AIR sia spento durante il ciclo di carica.

• Utilizzare solo l’alimentatore di DOC AIR certificato.

• Non deformare o modificare la batteria.

• Non caricare o lasciare la batteria nei pressi di una fonte di calore.

• Evitare di connettere i poli + e – a oggetti metallici.

• Immagazzinare la batteria in un luogo separato per evitare che entri in contatto

con materiali metallici.

• Evitare di sottoporre la batteria a urti violenti, come lanci o cadute.

• Caricare la batteria a temperatura ambiente.

• Non caricare la batteria in luoghi molto umidi.

• Non utilizzare l’alimentatore se i cavi o i connettori sono danneggiati.
