Before using the vacuum cleaner make sure

that the voltage shown on the rating plate

on the vacuum cleaner corresponds with the
main voltage.

Important warnings

h

The vacuum cleaner must not be used for •
picking up hazardous materials - i.e. toxic
dust, combustible or explosive materi­als, nor should it be used in an explosive
atmosphere.
Under no circumstances should the vac-•
uum cleaner be used for picking up hot
material. In particular the vacuum cleaner
must not be used for cleaning open and
closed fi replaces, ovens or similar that con-
tains warm or glowing ashes.
The vacuum cleaner must not be used for •
the suction of water, liquids or infl ammable
gases.
The vacuum cleaner must not be used if •
the electrical cable or plug show any sign
of damage. Regularly inspect the cable and
the plug for damage. If this becomes dam­aged, it should be repaired only by Nilfi sk
or an authorised Nilfi sk Service Dealer.
Do not handle the electrical cable or plug •
with wet hands.
Do not unplug by pulling on cable. To •
unplug, grasp the plug, not the cable. The
plug must always be removed from the
socket outlet before starting any service or
repair work of the machine or the cable.
No changes to the mechanical, electrical or •
thermal safety devices must be made.
This appliance is not to be used by children •
or persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction.
Young children should be supervised to •
ensure that they do not play with the appli­ance.

This machine is equipped with a thermal
cut-out to protect the motor and other
vital machine parts from overheating.
Should the machine cut out, you will have
to wait at least 5-10 minutes for it to auto­matically reset.
While you are waiting, switch the machine
off and unplug it, then check the hose,
dust bag and fi lters to be sure that noth-
ing is blocking the fl ow of air through the
machine.

Maintenance

Always keep the cleaner in a dry place. The
cleaner is designed for continuous heavy
work. Depending on the number of running
hours – the dust fi lters should be renewed.
Keep the container clean with a dry cloth,
and a small amount of spray polish. For

The symbol on the product or on its pack­ing indicates that this product may not be
treated as household waste. Instead it shall be
handed over to the applicable collection point
for the recycling of electrical and electronic
equipment. By ensuring this product is dis­posed of correctly, you will help prevent poten­tial negative consequences for the environment
and human health, which could otherwise be
caused by inappropriate waste handling of this
product. For more detailed information about

local city offi ce, your household waste disposal
service or the shop where you purchased the

Die auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes ange­gebene Betriebsspannung muß mit der Netz­spannung übereinstimmen.

Warnhinweise

Das Gerät darf nur zur Trockenreinigung •
und nicht im Freien benutzt werden. Das
Gerät ist nicht geeignet zum Aufsaugen
von explosiven, giftigen oder gesundheits­gefährlichen Stäuben.
Das Gerät darf nicht in explosionsfähiger •
Atmosphäre benutzt werden. Auf keinen
Fall dürfen Flüssigkeiten, aggressive Gase,
leicht entzündbare Medien oder glühende
Partikel (Glimmnester o. ä.) auf- bzw.
abgesaugt werden.
Das Gerät darf nicht benutzt werden, falls •
der Zustand der Netzanschlußleitung nicht
einwandfrei ist. Die Netzanschlußleitung ist
regelmäßig auf Anzeichen einer Beschädi­gung oder Alterung zu untersuchen.
Die Netzanschlußleitung darf nur von einer •
ausgebildeten Person ausgetauscht wer­den.
Elektrische Kabel oder Stecker nicht mit •
nassen Händen berühren.
Den Stecker nicht am Kabel aus der Steck-•
dose ziehen, sondern am Stecker anfas­sen. Nach dem Gebrauch und vor dem
Reinigen oder vor Wartungsarbeiten ist der
Stecker aus der Steckdose zu ziehen.
Es dürfen keine Veränderungen an den •
mechanischen, elektrischen oder ther­mischen Sicherheitseinrichtungen vor­genommen werden.
Dieses Gerät dürfen Kinder oder Personen •
mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen
oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder mit feh­lenden Erfahrungen erst benutzen, wenn
sie zuvor eingewiesen worden sind.
Kinder müssen beaufsichtigt werden, damit •
sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

Dieses Gerät ist mit einem Thermo­Schutzschalter versehen, der die vitalen
Teile gegen Überhitzung schützt. Sollte
dieser Sicherheitsschalter das Gerät aus­schalten, so dauert es ca. 5-10 Minuten
bis das Gerät wieder automatisch startet.
Kontrollieren Sie während dieser Zeit
den Schlauch, den Einsatzbeutel und
den Filter um sicherzustellen, daß der
Luftdurchfl uß durch die Maschine nicht
behindert ist.

Wartung

Der Staubsauger muß trocken aufbewahrt
werden. Er ist nahezu wartungsfrei. Nur der
Staubfi lter muß – abhängig von der Einsatz-
dauer – gelegenlich erneuert werden. Die
Oberfl äche des Staubsaugers wird mit einem
trockenen Tuch, evt. mit einem sanften
Kunststoffreiniger, gereinigt.Der Service wird
von den Nilfi skServicestellen durchgeführt
oder dort, wo das Gerät gekauft wurde.

Das Symbol
der Produktverpackung deutet an, dass das
Produkt nicht mit dem Haushaltsmüll ent­sorgt werden darf. Stattdessen ist es zur
Entsorgung an eine geeignete Sammelstelle
für das Recycling von elektrischen und elek­tronischen Geräten zu bringen. Durch die
korrekte Entsorgung helfen Sie mit, poten­ziellen negativen Einfl üssen auf die Umwelt
und die Gesundheit vorzubeugen, die durch
eine unangemessene Entsorgung dieses
Produktes entstehen könnten. Genauere

L’aspirateur ne peut pas être utilisé pour •
aspirer des matières dangereuses, des
poussières toxiques ou des matières
infl ammables ou explosives, de même qu’il
ne peut pas être utilisé dans une atmos­phère explosible.
En aucune circonstance, l’aspirateur ne •
peut être utilisé pour aspirer des matières
chaudes et, en particulier, pour nettoyer des
feux ouverts, des cheminées, des fours ou
d’autres endroits similaires qui contiennent
des cendres chaudes ou incandescentes.
L’aspirateur ne peut pas être utilisé pour •
aspirer de l’eau, des liquides ou des
vapeurs infl ammables.
L’aspirateur ne peut pas être utilisé si le •
câble électrique ou la fi che sont endom-
magés. Contrôlez les régulièrement. En
cas de dommage, seuls Nilfi skou un distri-
buteur agréé Nilfi sk peuvent procéder à la
réparation.
Ne manipulez pas le câble électrique ou la •
fi che avec des mains mouillées.
Ne débranchez pas l’appareil en tirant •
sur le câble électrique mais en retirant
la fi che elle-même. La fi che doit toujours
être retirée de la prise murale avant de
procéder à toute réparation à la machine
ou au câble d’alimentation.
Aucune modifi cation d’ordre mécanique, •
électrique ou thermique ne peut être
apportée.
Cet appareil ne doit pas être utilisé par des •
enfants ou des personnes dont les capa­cités physiques, sensoriel les ou mentales
sont altérées. De même, les personnes
n’ayant pas les connaissances et l’expé­rience requises ne sont autorisées à se ser­vir de cet appareil que sous la supervision
ou après avoir reçu les instructions requi
ses par des personnes dûment habilitées.

Cet appareil est conforme à la directive

Cet aspirateur est muni d’un rupteur
thermique pour protéger les composants
contre la surchauffe. Si ce rupteur ther­mique arrête l’aspirateur, attendre de
5 à 10 minutes et l’aspirateur se remet
automatiquement en marche. Pendant ce
temps vérifi er le fl exible, le sac et le fi ltre.
Déboucher éventuellement le fl exible,
remplacer le sac s’il est plein ou rempla­cer le fi ltre s’il est colmaté.

Entretien

Rangez l’appareil dans un endroit sec. Au
bout d’un certain temps, suivant la fréquence
d’utilisation, les fi ltres devront être renouve-
lés. Nettoyez l’extérieur de l’appareil à l’aide
d’un chiffon sec. Utilisez éven-tuellement un
peu de nettoyant ménager. Pour le service
après-vente, s’adresser directement à Nilfi sk
ou au distributeur agréé Nilfi sk.

Le symbole sur le produit ou sur son
emballage indique que ce produit ne doit pas
útre traité comme un déchet ménager. Il doit
au contraire útre remis au point de collecte
correspondant pour le recyclage du matériel
électrique et électronique. En procédant de
