We s trongly recommend you do not remove the watch back yourself.
Here's why.
Many of our watch designs use special gaskets that create a water tight s eal between the back plate
and the watch case. The greatest risk of changing the batter y yourself, or having a jeweler do it,
is that this gasket will not be replaced properly. In this cas e water damage can occur. In addition to ens ur ing
that your watch is water tight, our service centers will clean the components and replace damaged par ts .
Customer feedback on the price, duration and headache of this process has prompted us
to star t putting us er s erviceable batter y hatches in our watches whenever possible.
