Please read these simple guidelines and safety instructions carefully before using the phone.
[Driving]
Please do not use a phone while driving. If you want to use your phone, please use a hands-free kit or please park the car first.
[Hospital]
Please turn off the phone when you are in hospital. Mobile phones can cause possible interference to medical devices such as hearing aids or pacemaker.
[Aircraft]
Please turn off the phone when you are in an aircraft. It is prohibited to use phone in the aircraft.
[Blasting Area]
Please turn off the phone when you are near a blasting area.
[Battery and accessory]
Use only approved battery and accessories.
[When refuelling]
Do not use the phone at refuelling point(service station) or near fuel or chemicals.
[Disassembly]
Do not disassemble your phone or any of its accessories. Only certified service center can disassemble and repair your phone.
[Children]
Keep all accessories or batteries out of the reach of small children or babies. Please instruct children the proper ways of handling phone during usage. Shock circuit or breakdown may occur and may cause severe danger to user due to improper usage.
[Battery]
Do not apply extreme shock to battery. It is dangerous to dis­assemble a battery or to apply extreme shock to the battery via nail or heavy metal objects.
Dispose of used batteries in accordance with local regulations. Always recycle. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire.

Key definition
[SEND Key]
Makes or answers a call In idle mode: Access the Call list .
[END Key]
End an active call. Hold the key down, switch phone On or Off.
Wh[Camera Key]
In idle mode : Hold the key down, access to the
camera preview mode .
In camera mode : Takes a photo or starts
recording a video.
[Side volume key]
During a call : Adjusts earpiece volume level. In menu mode : Scrolls through the menu In idle mode : Hold the key down, enables/disables

* Tip : If you press this key when the melody/alarm rings ,

Touch screen and key lock
This feature locks the touch screen and keys of your phone. You can lock the touch screen and keys to prevent them from being pressed accidentally .
To lock the touch screen and key, press and hold the side key, then appears pop-up of "Enabling LCD Lock?". Select [Yes]. When screen and keys locked, the screen switch off and keys not be operated.
To unlock the touch screen and key, press and hold the side key, then appears pop-up of "Disabling LCD Lock?". Select
[Yes].

Installing and Removing SIM card
SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) is a "Smart Card" that holds user phone number, service details, and memory for Phone Book numbers and messages. You can use your SIM in any GSM phone and will be charged for the calls.
1. Installing SIM card
(1) With the battery removed from the phone, insert the SIM
card into the slot. (2) Slide the SIM card as far as possible to the arrow direction. (3) Make sure that the goldcoloured contacts on the card
face down into the phone.
2. Removing SIM card
(1) With the battery removed from the phone, Push the
[a] portion.
(2) Slide the SIM card to the [b] direction, pull out the SIM card.
* Caution!
Information stored in the SIM card can be damaged by scratches, water, dirt or static electricity, so be careful when handling, inserting or removing the card.

1. Installing the battery
(1) Remove the battery cover by sliding it downwards.
(2) Insert the battery into the phone housing as below (3) To insert the battery, align the golden contacts of the
battery with the corresponding connectors on the battery compartment.
(4) Push the arrow area of the battery down until it snaps
into place.
(5) Replace the battery cover by sliding it up.

2. To remove the battery..
(1) Remove the battery cover by sliding it downwards.
(2) Use your finger to lift the battery(arrow area) up and away
from the phone.

The battery pack is not fully charged when purchased. Fully charge it for 8 hours the first time before using. Unplug the charger when not in use.
1. Connect the power plug to the wall socket outlet.
2. Insert the power cable jack into the connector at the lower part of the phone.
* Hint
Insert a charger after the connecter cover turn sideways, and you will be able to charge easily .
* Note
- When the battery is weak, an empty battery icon flashes,
you hear a warning tone.
- The phone can be used while the battery is being charged,
but the causes the battery to charge more slowly.
- Because of safety reason, when the temperature of battery is
over the safety value, battery will be protected, handset does not charge the battery. When the temperature of battery is come back to normal, handset will charge the battery again.

Power on/off
1. Power on
Press and hold [END] key.
* If PIN is activated, please enter 'PIN code'.
If 'Lock' is activated, please enter password. Initial password is set to '0000' If security of SIM card is enabled, the phone requests the PIN code every time when the phone is turned on.
2. Power off
Press and hold [END]key.
¡Ø Making an emergency call
Your mobile phone supports international emergency number which can be used with or without a SIM card inserted as long as the GSM network is within range.
Some networks may require that a valid SIM card is properly inserted in the phone and some may require you to input a PIN as well. Consult the local network service provider when in doubt. If certain features are in use (eg. Screen lock, etc.) you may first need to turn those features off before making your emergency call.
* T
o make an emergency call :
If the phone is not switch on, switch it on.
- With SIM card inserted : Dial the emergency number.
- Without SIM card inserted : Press [SOS] or dial the
emergency number direct.
1. PIN (Personal Identification Number)
It is a personal code (4 to 8 digits) provided by your network operator in order to prevent other people from using your SIM card. It is usually supplied with the SIM card. The PIN is usually requested each time when the phone is switched on. If you enter an incorrect PIN three times consecutively, the SIM card is blocked and cannot be used until you unblock it by entering the PUK.
2. PIN2
It is a code composed of 4 to 8 digits and is supplied with some SIM cards to access specific function such as setting the charge detail display and access other additional functions. If you enter an incorrect PIN2 three times consecutively, the SIM card is blocked and you cannot access the functions until you unblock it by entering the PUK2.
3. PUK (PIN Unblocking Key)
It is composed of 8 digits and used to unblock a SIM card. The PUK may be supplied with the SIM card. If you forget the code, please contact your service provider. If you enter an incorrect PUK ten times consecutively, the SIM card becomes invalid. Please contact your service provider for a new card.

4. PUK2
It is a personal code (8 digits) to unblock the PIN2 code in your SIM card. The PUK2 code may be supplied with the SIM card. In the event that you cannot remember the PIN code, contact your network provider. If an incorrect PUK2 code is keyed in 10 times in succession, you will be denied access to the additional functions provided by PIN2. Contact your network provider if such event occurs.
5. Change PIN or PIN2 code
You may change the PIN or PIN2 code to any 4 to 8 digits of your choice.
6. Set PIN Check
PIN check request for your PIN code whenever your phone is powered on.
* Note
If your key in an incorrect PIN2 3 times in succession, the
SIM card will be blocked and you will be requested to enter
the PUK2 code
1. Using dial pad
Enter the phone number in dial pad mode, then press
[Dial].
2. Making a call from the phone book
Once you have stored a number in phonebook, you can dial the number by selecting it from Phonebook .
3. Making a call using the call list
In idle mode, press the [SEND] key, and the latest outgoing phone number will be displayed. Select the desired number, press [SEND].
4. Making an international call
In idle mode, press and hold the [0/+] for the international prefix. The '+' character automatically selects the international access code. Enter the country code, area code and the phone number then pre [SEND].
5. Using turbo dial
Press and hold a location number in idle mode to connect a call to the corresponding number of the appropriate location.
(Example)
If the location number is '2', press and hold [2]. If the location number is '21', press [2] and press and hold [1].

When you receive a call, the phone rings and the flashing phone icon appears on the screen. If the caller can be identified the caller's phone number (or name if saved in the phone book) is displayed. To answer an incoming call, press [SEND]key.
* Note : If answer option has been set as other option, please
see the 'Answer option' on the [Phone set].
* Note : Enter your PIN code to unlock before answering an
incoming call if your phone is PIN code protected.
* Note : To reject an incoming call, close the phone or press
[END]key.
If you are unable to answer a call, the number of missed call is displayed.
- Time and number (if CLI is supported) is displayed.
- The latest call information appears on the display.
* Note : If the [Auto redial] has been set, your phone turn the
automatic redialing to the unsuccessful call number.

You may access different In-call options during your conversa­tion by simply selecting [Menu] using the [Left softkey]. The available selection will depend on the stage of call, the settings and type of SIM card as well as subscription of network services.
Phone book
This option displays the Phone book menu.
1. Press [Menu]
2. Select [Phone book] and press [OK].
3. Scroll to the desired item and press [OK]. All the phonebook functions are displayed.
See Phone book for more details.
Message
This option displays the Message menu.
1. Press [Menu].
2. Select [Message] and press [OK].
3. Scroll the desired item and press [OK].
Mute On/Off
You can mute any active call. Muting means that you can hear the other person's voice but he/she cannot hear your voice. During a call, press [Menu], then scroll to 'Mute on'. Press [OK]. 'Mute' icon appears on screen.

To unmute the call, press 'Mute Off' and press [OK]. 'Mute' icon disappears.
Hold/ Unhold
You can put a current call on hold and accept an incoming call, or start a second call. This means that both you and the other party will hear a holding tone.
During the call, Press [Menu] then ‘Hold’. The words ‘Call hold’ will appear on the call screen. To resume the call, press [Menu], then press ‘Unhold’. The call will resume.
Incoming call while in call
If supported by the service provider, you can accept a second call while in a call.
1. During a call, press [ANS].
2. Select ‘Hold & Ans’, then press [OK] . To return to the first call, press ‘Switch’.
1. When there is an incoming call, press [SEND] to enter into Answer mode.(select ‘Reject’ to reject the incoming call)
2. It has 'Drop & Answer / Hold & Answer/ Reject' options. Select 'Hold & Answer', the screen will display both 'In call' and 'Held call'.
Active call and call on hold
Switch
This allows you to switch between an active call and a call on hold. Press [Menu], then press ‘Switch’. The active call will be put on hold and the call on hold will become the active call.
Join
This allows the call on hold to join the conversation. Press [Menu], then press ‘Join’. Now all three parties are in the teleconference.
Transfer
This allows you to transfer the active call to the call on hold. Press [Menu] and the press ‘Transfer’. Now, you will be disconnected from these calls automatically. The active call party and the party on hold will be able to talk to each other.
* During a call, press [End : right soft key], then popup menu
appears.
It shows "End on call / End held call / End all" options. You can select the following items:
- End on call : End a call you put on hold.
- End held call : End the current active call.
- End all : End all connected calls.

If supported by service provider, more people can take part in a call.
1. When there is an incoming call, press [SEND] to enter into
Answer mode.(select ‘Reject’ to reject the incoming call)
2. Press [Menu], it has 'Drop & Answer / Hold & Answer/
Reject' menus. Select 'Hold & Answer', the screen will display both 'In call' and 'Held call'.
3. Press [Menu], then Select ‘Join’.
4. The phone displays active call indicator with the new
active call.
Hold & Switch
Switch between the active call and the held call.
1. When there is an incoming call, press [SEND] to enter
into Answer mode.
(If you select 'Reject', the call will be rejected and the
phone will return to Idle mode.)
2. Press [Menu] to display 'Drop & Answer / Hold & Answer /
Reject' menus. Select 'Hold & Answer', then the screen displays both
'Active call' and 'Held call'.
3. Press 'Switch' to switch between the active call and the
held call.
* Reject waiting call :
You can reject an incoming call by pressing 'Reject'.
- During a call, press 'Reject' to display the pop-up menu.
- Move to the desired item and press [OK].
During a teleconference
Split
Allow you to talk privately with one of the persons in a conference call.
1. During a conference call, press select [Menu] and then press 'Split'.
2. Press "Navigation key" to move to the desired call, then press [OK].
* To end a connected or held call etc.. press right softkey to
select 'End a call' option. For ending a call, press [Menu] to select the desired item, then press [OK].
* It has "End on call / End held call / End all call' options.

You can use the sound settings feature to customize various settings.
To access this menu..
(1) Select [Setting] from main menu mode. (2) Scroll to [1.Sound] then press [OK].
* Tip : Tap the [1.Sound ] from the screen directly.
[1] Ring tone
Select your desired ringer tone for incoming calls. While scrolling the list, you can hear melodies, select the [OK] to set your ring tone. Use the navigation right/left keys(or tap icon) to move other melody group.
[2] Adjust volume
Adjust the volume of Keypad, Earpiece or Bell volume by shifting [Navigation]key (or press arrow icon) to the left / right. Set the volume level from 1 to 5.
[3] Ringer type
Select the ringing method of your incoming calls and
messages and press [OK].

Change the display language.
[2] Calibrate Touch
When your stylus is not pointing accurately on the display, it is time to calibrate it. Tap on calibrate screen and follow
the on-screen instructions to calibrate it.
* Tip : If the touch sensitive area of the screen responds inaccurately, it
may need calibration
[3] Time & Date
Set the time and date display on your phone.
1) Select mode : Define your time and date display mode and press [OK] to confirm.

2) Time & Date : Set the correct date and time to both local and other region. Press [OK] when done.
[4] Time format
Select your preferred time and date format.
1)Time format : Choose either 12hours or 24hours time format and press [OK] when done.
2)Date format : You can choose of the date format below. YYYY/MM/DD, MM/DD/YYYY, DD/MM/YYYY
[6] Auto redial
Choose if you will like your phone to make a automatic redial with every unsuccessful attempt.
1) On : The last phone number will be redialed automatically
2) Off : The last phone number will not be redialed
[7] Data mode
Set the status of data mode. When this mode activated, your phone supports the connection to the PC will then be able to use the modem function to connect to the Internet.
[8] GPRS setting
Set the phone to automatically or manually register to a
GPRS network. Press [OK] to confirm selection.
1) Auto : The phone will automatically scan for GPRS network where.
2) Manual : The phone will search for GPRS network when an application using GPRS needs it and closed when you end the application.
Select and customize your phone tones for different events and environments. Press [OK] to confirm your desired mode and [Chng] to change the various phone mode tone settings.
To access this menu..
(1) Select [Setting] from main menu mode. (2) Scroll to [3.Phone mode] then press [OK].
* Tip : Tap the [3.Phone mode] from the screen directly.
* Note : The default mode of this phone is set to Normal and
customization is denied under this mode.

Use this menu to change settings for the display and light.
To access this menu..
(1) Select [Setting] from main menu mode. (2) Scroll to [4.Display] then press [OK].
* Tip : Tap the [4.Display] from the screen directly.
[1] Set graphic
Changes the wallpaper of the screen. Use the navigation up/down keys to select your choice of wallpaper. Use the navigation right/left keys(or tap icon) to move follow : Main LCD / Screen saver / Power on / Power off
[2] Backlight
You can select the length of time that display and backlight
remain illuminated.
(1) LCD
You can choose of LCD backlight from 3 modes :
Display
(2) keypad
You can choose of keypad backlight from 3 modes : For 5 sec / for 10 sec / Always off.
* Tip : Always off is the most power efficient option.
[3] Idle banner
Create your own personalized message that appears in the
display while your phone is in idle mode.
[4] Color pattern
You can select your preferred colour scheme to some of the
display components such as title bar or scroll bar. 2 colour patterns available for selection, press [OK] to confirm choice.
[5] Screen saver
Your phone has a screen saver. If there are no actions for a specified time period, the screen saver becomes visible. You can choose of screen saver time from 3 modes : 10 second / 20 second / Always off
[6] Auto screen lock
You can set the screen lock automatically after preset time. You can choose of screen saver time from 4 modes :
Immediately after sleep / 1 minute after sleep / 5 minute after sleep / No screen lock

This feature locks your phone to prevent an unauthorized person from using it.
To access this menu..
(1) Select [Setting] from main menu mode. (2) Scroll to [5.Security] then press [OK].
* Tip : Tap the [5.Security] from the screen directly.
[1] Phone lock
This feature enables you to prevent an unauthorized person
from using your phone. When the phone is in lock status,
you have to enter the 4-digit phone password.
The password is set to '0000' by default. To change the
phone password, refer to the 'Change PWD' menu option.
1) Lock now
After entering the correct security code, the phone will lock after going into the idle state. If you want to disable this phone lock, you should enter the right security code.
If you power off in the phone lock state, when the hone is
next powered on, the phone is the lock state.
2) Auto lock

Enable : When you switch on the phone, you are required
to enter the phone password when using the same SIM card.

Disable : When you switch on the phone, you are not
required to enter the phone password.
Security set
* If SIM is changed, your phone will request security code
only when you change your SIM card.
[2] SIM PIN
1) PIN check
When this feature is enabled, you have to enter your PIN each time when you power on the phone.
Any person who does not have your PIN cannot use your
SIM card without approval.

Enable : You have to enter the PIN each time when you
power on the phone.
- Disable : The phone connects directly to the network when you power on the phone.
2) Change PIN 1
This feature enables you to change the current PIN to a
new one, provided that the PIN Check feature is enabled. To change PIN 1, PIN should be enable on "PIN check". You have to enter the current PIN before entering a new
one. You can change your PIN 1 (4~8 digits) codes.
Once you have entered a new PIN, you are asked to
confirm it by entering it again.
3) Change PIN 2
This feature enables you to change current PIN 2 to a
new one. You have to enter the current PIN 2 before entering a new one. Once you have entered a new PIN 2, you are asked to confirm it by entering it again.
