NETGEAR's Fast Ethernet switches provide a cost-effective way to

instantan eously increase n etwork performance while preserving most of your network investment, including installed cabling and end users' software and hardware. Multiple 100 Mbps clients can access the server or backbone without creating a bottleneck thanks to Gigabit uplink ports (one in the FS508, and two in the FS518).At the same time, the switched 10/100 ports provide you with automatic speed and full/half-duplex sensing per port. Running in full-duplex mode, each port delivers 200 Mbps of network speed to keep your small business moving fast and effectively.

ACCESSIBLE

Eight or sixteen switched 10/100 Mbps ports provide dedicated 10 or 100 Mbps bandwidth for connecting multiple PCs, servers,and hubs.

EFFECTIVE

Each port supports up to 200 Mbps of throughput in full duplex mode.

INTUITIVE

These switches begin operating as soon as they are powered on. Every port automatically senses the proper speed and full/half duplex mode, taking the burden of configuration off the user.
