Hardware Installation
1. Attach Aerial to the unit.

2.2 Attach 3G USB Modem
Note: The N3G002W can use either a 3G
PCMCIA modem (PC Express card with
suitable adaptor) or 3G USB modem.

Connecting your device
1. With the supplied Ethernet cable, connect your
computer to the LAN port of the N3G002W.
2. Connect your 3G Modem to the N3G002W.
Note: Connect either a compatible 3G PCMCIA modem to the slot
on the side of the N3G002W, or connect a compatible 3G
USB modem to the socket labelled USB on the back of the
N3G002W.
3. Connect the supplied Power Adapter to the wall
power outlet and to the socket labelled Power on
the N3G002W.
4. Wait for 2 minutes to allow the N3G002W to
power up.
5. On your computer, open a web-browser (such as
Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Safari) and type in
192.168.123.254 into the address bar.
6. Press enter to launch the web-based configuration
screen. Enter the default password admin in to the
system password field, and press Login.
7. Select Wizard and click Enter to start configuring
the N3G002W.
8. Follow the on-screen steps to complete the wizard
and click apply settings.
9. Wait 2 minutes to allow the N3G002W to apply
the settings, and then re-login to the device
following the steps above, in order to check the
internet link status.
Establishing a Wireless Connection:
You can connect multiple wireless devices, including
laptops, desktops and PDA’s to your N3G002W by
following the 2 basic steps.
1. Using your wireless device, scan the wireless
networks in your area and select the network
called netcomm n3g series, then click connect.
2. Enter the following default security key:

Note To ensure wireless security, we recommend you change
the default settings through the Configuration Interface. For
more detail, please consult the User Guide.
