Do not operate when bathing or in the shower. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot liquids. Do not fill the water reservoir to more than 1 inch below the top rim. Place appliance on a
level surface. Always place the stones in the water reservoir first, then add water. Do not use if you have rashes, burns, cuts or other skin irritations, or if you have sensitive or
damaged skin. Never place an appliance in a tub or sink to fill while it is plugged into a wall outlet.
ELECTROCUTION HAZARD!
Always test the temperature of each stone by touching it with your fingers first and hold it in
your hand before placing the heated stone on another person. Use heat resistant gloves or slotted wooden spoon to lift heated stones from the SPA PRO
to avoid burns or scalding. Never add boiling or steaming water to avoid scalding and/or burns.

CAUTIONS
1. The SPA PRO are present: Tuberculosis, tumors, open wounds, hemorrhages, bruises, broken skin, thrombosis or phlebitis, varicose veins, or undetermined joint pain or pain in the calf.
2. People who are pregnant, have diabetes or other illness, should have a physicians
approval prior to receiving therapy.
3. Contact your physician if you have any questions concerning the therapeutic affects of this appliance.
4. If you experience unusual pain, contact your physician before using the SPA PRO
5. Discontinue use of the SPA PRO and contact your physician.
6. Do not use this appliance when you are feeling drowsy or are going to fall asleep.
7. The SPA PRO and PLEASE keep children away from this appliance.
Before Using Your SPA PROTM For The First Time
Unpack your SPA PROTM Massage Stone Heater completely and REMOVE THE WATER
RESERVIOR, ALL PACKAGING MATERIAL AND INFORMATION LABELS. Place unit in a WELL VENTILATED AREA ON A HEAT RESISTANT SURFACE.
Turn the Temperature Control full counter-clockwise and plug the SPA PRO
120 volt AC outlet.
Turn the Temperature Control to the “Preheat” setting and allow the SPA PRO
for approximately 60 minutes, or until any odor or smoking disappear.
Some smoke and odor are a normal part of curing the heating element and will not occur
again during normal spa use.
When curing is completed, turn the Temperature Control full counter-clockwise to turn the
appliance off, unplug SPA PRO

Wash all stones before each use.
Place a hand towel on the bottom of the SPA PRO

Before plugging appliance into outlet, add sufficient water, fill the water reservoir to just above the stones or fill to maximum capacity, but no more that 1-inch below the top rim.
Turn the Temperature Control full counter clockwise. Place Cover on appliance.
Plug power cord into a standard 120 VAC grounded outlet. Turn the Temperature Control to
“Preheat” position for about 20 to 30 minutes to speed warm up time. When the water reaches the desired temperature, turn the Temperature Control to the “Operating Range” to maintain the proper temperature.
Use an accurate thermometer to measure water temperature in the Water Reservoir to
ensure that stones are at a proper therapeutic temperature. Consult a professional therapist for correct stone temperatures if you are unsure.
Model 4418 (18 qt version) only: The Indicator Lamp cycles off and on with the heating
element. The element is heating when the lamp is on.
Carefully remove the first stone from the SPA PRO
temperature of the stone by touching it with your finger, then hold in your hand. The temperature should feel warm to the touch, but not uncomfortable.
When the therapy session is finished, turn the Temperature Control full counter-
clockwise to turn unit off. Always unplug appliance when not in use.
Do not drop stones into the SPA PRO
Use care when removing or replacing stones.

Clean unit after each therapy session.
Turn Temperature Control to minimum and unplug SPA PRO cleaning.
Allow appliance to cool to room temperature before cleaning or add or removing parts.
Carefully remove all stones first, then remove the water.
Clean Water Reservoir and Cover with a solution of warm soapy water, then rinse with clean water and dry with a towel.
Wipe Main Heating Unit with a damp cloth. Special care must taken when cleaning the Main Heating Unit. NEVER immerse Main Heating Unit in water or place in a sink to rinse.
Rinse the stones in warm water with a small amount of mild detergent added. Rinse stones with clean warm water and allow to dry before storing.
