IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
- This product is designed for household use only -
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electrical shock and personal injury, do not immerse this appliance, including cord and plug, in water or other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool completely before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. To avoid hazards, return appliance to NESCO® Factory Service Department for examination, repair or adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may result in re, electric shock or injury to persons.
8. Do not use outdoors.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electrical burner or in a heated oven.
11. Do not use appliance for other than its intended use, as described in this manual.
12. Do not use metal scouring pads on the exterior surface of the appliance.
13. Do not use cookware with inferior or unsuitable type materials.
14. Always place appliance on a at and sturdy surface.
15. When moving appliance, do not touch hot surfaces, or avoid spilling hot liquids over it.
16. Do not place or use the appliance near a washbasin.
17. Do not clean the appliance under a running tap water.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Polarized Plug: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). To reduce risk of electric shock, plug is intended to t into polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not t fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not t, contact a qualied electrician. Do not try to modify the plug in any way. Short Cord Instructions: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is used, the marked electrical rating of the cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.

Operation
1. Place the appliance on a at and sturdy surface.
2. Use cookware that is at, suitable for induction heating (see note 11) and having a
bottom diameter between 3.15 inches and 10.00 inches.
3. Connect the power plug into the electrical outlet. The buzzer will sound once and all
indicator lights are on for 1 second and then turn off.
4. Press the “On/Off“ function to activate the induction cooker. The buzzer will sound
and On/Off indicator light will remain on.
5. Press Cooking Mode button, “C3” will appear. Select desired mode pressing ARROW
keys (C1 - Low heat; C5 - High heat). Cooking mode can be adjusted any time during use. There will be a learning curve understanding what each Cooking Mode will provide in terms of performance with your cookware.
6. DO NOT USE EMPTY PANS on the heating zone. First, add oil or liquid into the
pan and then start cooking by pressing the Cooking Mode key.
7. The cookware should always remain in the center of the heating zone during cooking
or the bottom of the pan will not heat evenly and food in the cookware may not cook as desired.
8. While heating up oil, constantly check the pan to prevent overheating and burning.
9. To turn the induction cooker off press the “On/Off” button once, all indicator lights and display
will turn off but the cooling fan will run for one additional minute and then turn off.
10. Do not unplug from electrical outlet until the cooling fan has stopped.
11. Suitable cookware for Induction cooking is made of ferric materials like cast iron,
carbon steel and magnetic stainless steel – but not glass, solid copper or aluminum. Use included NESCO magnet to determine if your cookware will work. IF IT STICKS TO BOTTOM! - IT WORKS!

Safety Operations
1. To avoid burn type injuries, do not touch the heating zone after cooking.
2. To avoid overheating of cookware, do not use empty or unattended.
3. Turn OFF the cooktop when not in use and unplug from electrical outlet.
4. Do not insert any paper, cardboard, cloth, etc. between the cookware and heating zone
to avoid any source of re.
5. Metal objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids get heated very quickly. They
should not be placed on the heating zone. Do not place other types of objects such as (cans, aluminum foil, cutlery, jewelry, watches, etc.) on the heating zone.
6. Patients with a heart problem should ask their doctor if they are safe to be near an
induction cooktop.
7. Do not place credit cards, phone cards, cd’s, cassette tapes, or objects that are
sensitive to magnetic elds.
8. This cooktop has an internal cooling fan. Do not obstruct the air vents. This can cause
overheating and cooktop would automatically turn off.
9. Do not use if the any part of the appliance is cracked or broken.
10. Avoid liquids from entering the cooktop, Do not let water or foods overow from the
cookware and do not clean the appliance in water or other liquids.
11. Do not operate the appliance on metal tables or metal countertops as the proximity to
the appliance may cause the surfaces to heat causing possible safety risks and damage to the appliance.
12. Attention: DO NOT use cookware with a diameter larger than 10.00 inches. This
can cause the appliance to overheat and malfunction.
Care and Cleaning Instructions
Always unplug appliance cord before cleaning.
Make sure appliance has cooled.
Clean the exterior surfaces with clean, damp, soft cloth or sponge. Never place
appliance in water or other liquids.
To prevent scratches, only use cleaning pads and cleaners that are designed for
cleaning ceramic cooktops. Never use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
Allow to dry before storage.
Information Codes
Information codes (E0 - E6) will be displayed when appliance is not properly operating. E0 - Circuit error occured within the appliance. Allow to cool, then unplug from electrical
outlet. Repeat cooking mode as desired.
E1 -
No cookware present, unsuitable type or diameter is too small (less than 3.15 inches.)

E2 - Internal appliance overheat. Appliance will automatically turn off. Allow to cool and
unplug from electrical outlet. Check that vents are clear of obstructions.
E3 - Input voltage is greater than 140 V.a.c. E4 - Input voltage is less than 95 V.a.c. E5 - Main sensor detects disconnection or short circuit. Do not attempt to repair, contact
the manufacturer for further information.
E6 - Heating Zone temperature has overheated. Appliance will automatically turn off.
After cooling fan has turned off, unplug from electrical outlet, remove cookware and allow to cool.
