NERO Mountie 1400 Hair dryer

The Nero Wall-Mounted Hair Dryer combines safety, convenience and power-saving with a
modern, streamlined design. It can be installed either in a drawer or upon a wall.

How to install this unit with plug-connected wire:
1. Drill 2 holes of 6mm diameter according to the dimensions shown in picture 2, then
insert toggle into the holes and fix hanger to top hole.
2. Fix front and back cover on wall with the screw, then insert toggle into screw hole.
3. Connect with general power and move power switch to “ON” position.
How to install this unit without plug-connected wire:
1. Follow first step of the method above.
2. Loosen the screws as in picture 3 and picture 4 to remove front cover and attach to
plug-connected wire from terminal.
3. Open the wire entry hole; pull the reserved wire through that hole.
4. Fix the reserved wire on terminal, note direction of N, L wire, replace terminal to its
original position.
5. Fix the front and back cover on wall with the screws.
6. Turn on general power and move power switch to “ON” position.
How to install in drawer:
1. Drill two holes of 4mm diameter. The distance between the two holes is 80mm.
2. Fix the base of this unit on bottom board of drawer with the screws as in picture 5.
3. Turn on general power and move power switch to “ON” position.

How to use:
Switch on general power and pick up the dryer body. The dryer will work when the spring
button is held on. Move the push button up and down for high or low heating.
2 – Hot, 1 – Warm, C – Cool shot.
Please note:
1. Ensure the voltage of hair dryer is the same as the power supply.
2. Do not operate the hair dryer with wet hands.
3. Before cleaning the unit, always disconnect the main plug from the socket.
4. Never immerse the unit in water.
5. Wipe the hair dryer with a damp cloth on the exterior and wipe dry.

2. Do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing
water.
3. When the hairdryer is used in the bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of
water presents a hazard even when the hairdryer is switched off.
4. For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a
rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit
supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.
MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT: Always ensure that the hair dryer is disconnected from the main supply before
cleaning.
Use a damp cloth for cleaning and wipe dry. This will help preserve the original finish of your
hair dryer.
Abrasive cleansers should not be used.
WARNING: Never immerse the hair dryer in water and always ensure that plug is kept dry.
After a period of use, you should take the inlet apart and clean it. Push the air inlet grill to
the left to remove.
After cleaning, insert the air inlet grill onto the back of hair dryer and move to the right until
locked in the right position.
Frequently clean out any hair or fluff that becomes stuck in the inlet filter to prevent overheating.
