USE AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS

ROTARY SLICER

MODEL: GS4400

PLEASE NOTE: To get the maximum life and most efficient operation of your equipment, please comply with all the instructions
stated below. Clean the equipment thoroughly before the first use and after each use thereafter. Avoid using cleaners that are
high in alkalinity as they may dull, discolor, or pit the castings.

SAFETY NOTE: The blades on this equipment are VERY SHARP! Use extreme caution when handling and operating this
equipment, and always keep hands clear of the cutting area while using this equipment!

ASSEMBLY: Install the leg on the trough using the bolts provided. Thread the push rod on to the push plate.

TO MOUNT:

1. Place the mounting base on a firm and sturdy work surface where it is to be mounted.

2. Outline the four mounting holes on the table, and set the mounting base aside.

3. Drill four ¼” holes on the marked locations and attach the mounting base using the screws provided.

OPERATION:

1. Install the Rotary Slicer into the mounting base. Ensure that the locking shaft is in the locked position.

2. Prepare the produced that is going to be sliced.

3. Open the cover plate and pull back the push plate. Place produce in the trough and close the cover plate.

4. Maintaining uniform pressure, push the push plate forward using the knob while turning the slicing assembly

simultaneously in a clockwise direction.
NOTE: The cut thickness can be altered by turning thumb screw on the end of the slicing assembly. Each full turn is
approximately 1/16” of adjustment.

CLEANING:

1. Remove the slicing assembly by turning the locking shaft counter-clockwise and removing the slicing assembly from

the trough and stand assembly. Remove guard by sliding it up off of the trough, and remove cover plate by sliding the
pin out of position. NOTE: Blades are very sharp – use extreme caution when handling the blade assembly!

2. Use warm water and a mild detergent if desired, to clean all of the components.

3. Allow equipment to air dry.
