Les informations contenues dans le présent manuel fourni avec le produit sont indispensables pour une installation, une utilisation et un entretien en bonne et due forme du système de chauffage Needo. La date de la dernière mise à jour est reportée sur le manuel. Toute autre mise à jour ou modication éventuelle est disponible sur le site Internet www.needo.eu. L’installation devra être effectuée EXCLUSIVEMENT par du personnel

qualié et disposant des compétences nécessaires, avec des outils adaptés et dans le

respect des réglementations, normes et précautions en matière de sécurité, de même que des consignes et indications reportées dans le présent manuel. Le non-respect de ces consignes et indications peut se traduire par des dysfonctionnements, des pannes, ruptures, des dommages à des biens et/ou des personnes, et comporte l’exclusion de la garantie Eltra Heizelemente GmbH (désigné par la suite comme « le fabricant »). Dans certains pays, le produit peut avoir été homologué pour le fonctionnement avec des composants originaux. Les informations ont été élaborées par le fabricant dans la langue d’origine (italien) an

de fournir aux utilisateurs les indications nécessaires pour utiliser le radiateur de façon autonome, pratique et sans risque.

CONSIGNES GENERALES DE SECURITE

La plupart des incidents sont causés par le non-respect des règles de base et des précautions de sécurité. Dans la mesure où il est impossible pour le fabricant de prévoir toutes les circonstances possibles pouvant représenter des dangers potentiels, les consignes reportées dans le présent manuel et sur le produit lui-même ne comprennent pas

tous les cas de gure. Si l’on a recours à des procédures, équipements ou méthodes qui

n’ont pas été expressément recommandés par le fabricant, il est indispensable de s’assurer que le travail soit effectué dans le respect des règles de sécurité, aussi bien pour l’opérateur que pour son environnement.

CONSIGNES D’UTILISATION

A LIRE AVANT UTILISATION

Avant d’utiliser le produit, il est recommandé de lire attentivement les consignes indiquées ci-après et de s’assurer qu’elles ont été bien comprises. Les produits Needo ont été conçus pour VOUS et sur la base de vos besoins. Rappelons toutefois qu’ils n’ont pas été conçus pour d’autres usages que ceux présentés dans le présent manuel. Vous trouverez ci-après les principales consignes à respecter pour l’utilisation du produit. Nous vous prions d’y apporter toute votre attention.

Bonne lecture !

Ne pas toucher le radiateur avec les mains et les pieds mouillés. Ne pas installer l’appareil à l’extérieur

Le produit est homologué pour résister aux projections d’eau. Mieux vaut cependant éviter tout contact lorsque vous avez les mains ou les pieds mouillés. Le produit est conçu exclusivement pour un usage à l’intérieur d’une habitation.

Ne pas poser de vêtements humides ou mouillés. Ne pas mouiller l’appareil

Il est interdit de poser des vêtements humides ou mouillés sur le radiateur. Il est également interdit de mouiller le radiateur dans l’intention de le nettoyer. Le radiateur présente le symbole qu’il ne faut pas couvrir le radiateur.

Tenir hors de portée des enfants

Le produit est conçu pour être facile à utiliser. Son utilisation (et celle de My NEEDO) par des enfants et des personnes inaptes n’est admise que sous la surveillance d’un adulte.

Ne pas se pendre. Ne pas poser d’objets lourds

La version horizontale du produit est basculante. Le radiateur n’est pas conçu pour supporter le poids de personnes et/ou d’objets, ni quand il est ouvert, ni quand il est fermé. Il est donc interdit d’y poser des objets lourds, de s’asseoir dessus ou de s’y pendre. Les mêmes règles s’appliquent également pour la version verticale.

Ne pas tenter de réparer ou de modier

le produit

Le produit est conçu pour être réparé exclusivement par du personnel agréé. Ne procédez à aucune opération de maintenance et ne remplacez pas les pièces éventuellement endommagées. Ne pas appliquer d’autocollants sur le radiateur. Ne pas perforer ni couper le radiateur.

GLOSSAIrE

Binding : procédure qui consiste à associer un radiateur à la télécommande My NEEDO. Fil Pilote : système de contrôle par câble du radiateur. Vacances : période de temps sélectionnée par l’utilisateur pendant laquelle l’ensemble du

système se met en modalité stand-by ou hors gel (au choix).

Stop 2h : modalité de fonctionnement du radiateur prévoyant l’extinction continue pendant 2

heures, indépendamment de la température relevée.

Marche Forcée : modalité de fonctionnement du radiateur prévoyant le chauffage continu

pendant 2 heures, indépendamment de la température relevée.

Powerbox : unité de contrôle du radiateur placée à l’arrière dans la partie inférieure du

radiateur.

Stand-by : état de veille du radiateur. Il est prêt à fonctionner sur simple commande de

l’opérateur (par l’intermédiaire de My NEEDO ou du bouton situé sur la powerbox).

Set-point : température cible que l’on désire atteindre et/ou maintenir.

PRESENTATION DU PRODUIT

Le radiateur électrique de design NEEDO a été conçu pour réchauffer des pièces d’habitations et de bureaux. Il se règle et se contrôle par le biais de la télécommande My NEEDO. Le système permet de réaliser chaque jour des économies de chauffage grâce à la technologie innovante NEEDO et à la précision du système de réglage.

INSTALLATION

LE GUIDE D’INSTALLATION

Le produit doit être installé exclusivement par du personnel qualié et compétent. Les

procédures pour une installation correcte sont indiquées dans le Guide d’installation joint au présent manuel. Une fois l’installation terminée, l’acheteur doit conserver ce guide avec le présent manuel. Dans le cas où l’emballage ne présente pas d’exemplaire du Guide d’installation, veuillez contacter immédiatement le Service après-vente avant d’effectuer toute opération.

FONCTIONNEMENT

My NEEDO

La technologie Needo permet de contrôler et de réguler la température ambiante par le biais de la télécommande My NEEDO. My NEEDO est une console simple et innovante qui révolutionne la gestion du chauffage. Grâce à un menu facile et intuitif, il est possible de télécommander tous les appareils Needo installés dans une habitation. Pour en savoir plus sur les fonctions, veuillez consulter le Guide d’utilisation My NEEDO fourni avec la télécommande My NEEDO. Attention! My NEEDO fait partie intégrante du produit Needo. Sauf indication contraire, toutes les consignes reportées dans le présent manuel se réfèrent donc également à la My NEEDO.

UTILISATION AVEC MY NEEDO

Les radiateurs Needo se règlent facilement grâce à la télécommande My NEEDO. Pour cela, il convient d’effectuer la procédure de « binding » décrite ci-après qui permet d’associer un ou plusieurs radiateurs à My NEEDO.

Première installation – phase de binding

1 Vérier que le radiateur est alimenté. Le voyant lumineux de la powerbox clignote en mode de recherche réseau ; 2 Insérer les piles dans My NEEDO ou la connecter au port USB ; 3 My NEEDO passe en mode première installation et demande de dénir les paramètres (cf. Guide d’utilisation My NEEDO) ; 4 Après avoir appuyé sur Installer radiateur, My NEEDO passe en mode d’attente. Le message « Dans une minute presser bouton sur Powerbox » apparit; Au bout d’une minute, appuyer une fois sur le bouton de la powerbox; le voyant lumineux de couleur verte commence à clignoter rapidement ; 5 Si l’opération s’est correctement déroulée, My NEEDO demande de saisir un nom pour le radiateur (cf. Guide d’utilisation My NEEDO) ; 6 Le radiateur est maintenant associé et prêt à être utilisé ; 7 Pour installer d’autres radiateurs, répéter les opérations décrites aux points 4, 5 et 6 ou appuyer sur MENU pour quitter la procédure d’installation.

Installations successives

Au moment d’installer un nouveau radiateur, celui-ci peut être associé à la My NEEDO déjà opérationnelle. 1 Appuyer sur la touche MENU ; 2 Accéder au menu Aide ; 3 Sélectionner Maintenance et appuyer sur OK ; 4 Pour chaque nouveau radiateur, répéter les opérations décrites aux points 4, 5 et 6

première installation.

UTILISATION SANS MY NEEDO

Réglage manuel du radiateur

Si vous ne possédez pas la télécommande My NEEDO ou si celle-ci ne fonctionne pas, le radiateur peut être réglé en mode manuel par le biais du bouton situé sur la powerbox situé en bas du radiateur (Fig. 01). Ce bouton permet de sélectionner un des trois modalités de fonctionnement du radiateur. La sélection se fait par alternance cyclique :

Première utilisation du radiateur

Une fois branché au réseau électrique, le radiateur entre en mode « recherche réseau » pour

identier la My NEEDO avec laquelle établir le contact. Pour passer au mode de réglage

manuel, appuyer sur la touche située sur la powerbox pendant plus de 3 secondes. De cette manière, le radiateur entre en mode autotest (le voyant lumineux est rouge et clignote lentement pendant 30 sec.), avant de passer automatiquement en mode de fonctionnement manuel.

DIAGNOSTIC

En cas de panne ou de dysfonctionnement de My NEEDO ou du radiateur, l’utilisateur peut effectuer un premier diagnostic. Le voyant rouge de My NEEDO clignotera et un

message s’afchera sur l’écran de votre My NEEDO

pour vous avertir en cas de problème. La réponse du voyant lumineux (Fig. 02) vous renseignera sur l’état de votre radiateur. Le tableau ci-après résume différents

cas de gure et les opérations à effectuer le cas

échéant.

Si le voyant est rouge et clignote rapidement ou en cas de dysfonctionnement, veuillez contacter le SAV après avoir consulté le chapitre Diagnostic de My NEEDO (cf. Guide d’utilisation My NEEDO).

NETTOYAGE MODELE HOrIZONTAL

SYSTèME ANTI-POUSSIèRE

Les avantages des produits Needo

Les produits Needo sont conçus pour vous. La possibilité d’incliner le radiateur (Fig. 03), dans le cas du modèle horizontal, vous permettra de nettoyer facilement le corps du radiateur tout en maintenant la pièce saine. Il est recommandé de suivre attentivement les indications et procédures suivantes.

Comment procéder au nettoyage

Avant d’effectuer toute opération de nettoyage sur le

produit, il convient de vérier que le radiateur est en

mode stand-by et qu’il est bien froid. Décrocher le radiateur comme indiqué sur la Fig. 04. Utiliser un chiffon sec ou des produits spéciaux non agressifs. Une fois l’opération terminée, refermer le radiateur en s’assurant que le mécanisme est correctement enclenché.

Comment procéder au nettoyage

Avant d’effectuer toute opération de nettoyage sur le

produit, il convient de vérier que le radiateur est en

mode stand-by et qu’il est bien froid. Utiliser un chiffon sec ou des produits spéciaux. non agressifs.

A ne pas faire (pour les deux modèles)

Ne pas nettoyer le radiateur lorsqu’il est allumé. Ne pas nettoyer le radiateur avec des produits agressifs. Ne pas nettoyer le radiateur à l’eau ou avec des chiffons mouillés. Ne pas gratter la surface du radiateur. Ne pas utiliser de produits abrasifs.

PrOCEDUrE DE rEINITIALISATION POWErBOX

Cas 1 – Voyant lumineux (rouge/vert ou vert)•

Si le voyant de la powerbox est dans cette situation, maintenir enfoncé pendant 3 sec. le bouton de la powerbox jusqu’à ce que le voyant passe au rouge et se mette à clignoter. Puis appuyer encore une fois pendant plus de 3 sec. sur le bouton pour réinitialiser.

Cas 2 – le voyant ne clignote pas (allumé ou éteint)•

Dans ce cas, il suft de maintenir enfoncé pendant plus

de 3 sec. le bouton de la powerbox pour effectuer la réinitialisation.

INFOrMATIONS UTILES

Je n’arrive pas à effectuer la procédure de première installation - binding•

Effectuer la procédure de réinitialisation de la powerbox (cf. p. 20). Si le problème persiste, contacter le service après-vente.

My NEEDO ne fonctionne plus •

La première chose à faire est de vérier l’état des piles et l’alimentation du radiateur. Vérier qu’il n’y a pas de problème de couverture radio grâce à la fonction du menu : aide | maintenance | signal radio. Le cas échéant, se rapprocher du radiateur. Si le problème est

d’une autre nature, contacter le service après-vente. Il reste néanmoins possible de régler le radiateur manuellement par le biais de la powerbox (cf. p. 16).

Achat d’une nouvelle My NEEDO •

Avant de procéder aux nouvelles associations entre les radiateurs et la nouvelle

télécommande (binding), il est nécessaire de redénir les informations réseau de la

powerbox. ATTENTION ! Dans ce cas, la procédure de réinitialisation est différente de celle reportée p. 20 car il convient de l’effectuer pour chaque radiateur en veillant à ce que les autres soient débranchés. Ce n’est qu’après les avoir tous réinitialisés qu’il sera possible de les rallumer. Ils se mettront alors à clignoter rouge/vert. Il est maintenant possible d’allumer My NEEDO et de

procéder à la première installation – phase de binding.

Achat de deux My NEEDO ou plus •

Si l’on souhaite créer deux réseaux Needo distincts et isolés au sein d’un même espace domestique (de sorte que chaque My NEEDO ne commande que certains radiateurs), la procédure de binding doit être effectuée avec une My NEEDO à la fois, en éteignant l’autre télécommande et en débranchant les autres radiateurs (ceux qu’on ne souhaite pas associer à cette télécommande).

Le radiateur ne chauffe pas•

Vérier que le radiateur est correctement alimenté et qu’il n’est pas en modalité Stand-by.

Si le problème persiste, veuillez contacter le service après-vente en communiquant les éventuels messages de diagnostic présents sur My NEEDO.

L’alimentation du radiateur a été coupée•

Au moment où le courant revient, le radiateur reconnaît automatiquement la connexion à la My NEEDO à laquelle il avait été associé.

Nombre maximum de radiateurs qu’il est possible d’installer•

Il est possible d’installer jusqu’à 9 radiateurs pour chaque My NEEDO.

Désinstallation d’un radiateur•

La désinstallation du produit doit être effectuée exclusivement par des techniciens qualiés,

conformément à la réglementation en vigueur. Avant de procéder à la désinstallation, éteindre l’interrupteur principal. Pour les modèles de plus de 25 kg, la désinstallation doit être effectuée par deux techniciens.

INFOrMATIONS UTILES

GARANTIE

Le produit est garanti contre les défauts de production pour une durée de cinq ans à compter de la date d’achat pour le corps, et deux ans pour la

powerbox. En cas de modications, les pièces

de rechange sont garanties pour une durée d’un an. La garantie n’est valable que sur présentation d’une preuve d’achat datée.

Any updates or modications can be found on the www.needo.eu website Installation must only be carried out by qualied personnel, with the necessary skills for

the operation, with suitable tools and in full observance of all the laws, standards and

precautions on safety, as well as the specications and indications in this manual. Failure to observe the above mentioned warnings and the specications in this manual may

Do not touch the radiator with wet hands and feet and do not install outdoors

The product is type-tested to resist water splashes: however, it is always better to avoid coming into contact with it with wet hands and feet. The product has been designed to be used exclusively indoors.

Do not place damp or wet clothing on it, do not wet the appliance

Damp or wet clothing must not be placed on the radiator. The radiator must not be wet in an attempt to clean it. This symbol cover the radiator.

Keep away from children

Although the product is designed to be easy to use, we recommend adult supervision if the product and My NEEDO are to be used by children or unsuitable people.

Do not hang from it or place heavy objects on it

The horizontal version of the product can be tilted. The radiator is not designed to support the weight of a person and /or objects, whether it is open or closed. Therefore, you must not place heavy objects on it, sit on it or hang from it. The same indications also apply to the vertical version.

Do not alter or tamper with the product

The product has been designed to be repaired by authorised personnel only. Do not carry out any maintenance and do not replace damaged parts. Do not put stickers on the radiator. Do not pierce or cut the radiator.

Binding: this is the procedure that allows a radiator to be linked to My NEEDO, so that it can

be controlled via the latter.

Pilot wire: wire control system for the radiator. Holidays: Period of time chosen by the user during which the whole system goes into stand-

by or anti-freeze mode (to be selected).

The NEEDO design electric radiator has been conceived to heat domestic environments and

ofces and is regulated and controlled via the My NEEDO control console.

The system allows you to make savings on your daily energy consumption, easily and accurately, thanks to innovative NEEDO heating technology and precise control in managing the heating system.

INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION GUIDE

Installation of the product must only be performed by qualied and skilled personnel. The

correct installation procedures are provided in the Installation Guide that is attached to this manual. Once installation is complete it must be kept by the purchaser, together with this manual. If a copy of the Installation Guide is not included in the package, contact Customer Services immediately, before carrying out any kind of operation.

OPErATION

My NEEDO

Needo technology allows you to control and regulate the living area using the My NEEDO remote control. My NEEDO is a simple, innovative console that revolutionises the management of your heating system; using an intuitive and easy to use menu you can manage all the Needo appliances installed in your home. For the guide to functions, please see the My NEEDO User Guide that is included in the package with your My NEEDO. Attention! My NEEDO is an integral part of the Needo product and all the warnings given in this manual are to be considered as also referring to My NEEDO, except where an explicit indication is given to the contrary.

USING WITH MY NEEDO

Needo radiators can be easily controlled using the My NEEDO remote control. For this to be possible, a “binding” procedure must be carried out, as shown below, to allow one or more radiators to be linked to My NEEDO.

Initial installation – binding phase

1 Check that the radiator is receiving power. The LED

on the powerbox ashes in network search mode;

2 Insert the batteries in My NEEDO or connect it to the USB port; 3 My NEEDO goes into initial installation mode and requests parameters to be set (see My NEEDO User Guide); 4 Once “Install Radiator” has been pressed, My NEEDO goes into stand-by mode and the message “Press the Powerbox button within the minute” appears on the screen...; Within 1

min. press the powerbox button once; the LED starts to ash green rapidly;

5 If binding has been carried out successfully, My NEEDO will request that you enter a name for the radiator (see My NEEDO User Guide); 6 The radiator is now linked and can be used; 7 To install other radiators, repeat points 4 to 6 or press MENU to exit the installation procedure.

Subsequent installations

When a new radiator is installed, it can be linked to the My NEEDO that is already in operation.

1 Press MENU; 2 Access the Assistance menu; 3 Select Maintenance and press OK; 4 Repeat points 4 to 6 of “initial installation” for each new radiator.

USING WITHOUT MY NEEDO

Manual control of the radiator

In the event that My NEEDO is absent or not working, the radiator can be controlled in manual mode using the button on the powerbox located on the lower part of the radiator (Fig. 01). Pressing this button allows you to select one of the radiator’s three operational modes. Selection is presented in cycles:

Initial radiator start-up

The radiator, when connected to the mains electricity for the rst time, goes into “network search” mode to nd a My NEEDO to bind with. To switch to manual control mode, you

must keep the button on the powerbox pressed for more than 3 seconds. The radiator

will then switch to auto-test mode (the LED ashes red slowly for 30 sec.) after which it will

automatically switch to manual operation mode.

DIAGNOSTICS

In the event of a fault or malfunction of My NEEDO or the radiator, the user can perform an initial diagnosis.

The red LED on My NEEDO will ash and a message

will appear on the screen of your My NEEDO to warn you of any problems. The response of the LED (Fig.

02) helps you to understand what is happening to your radiator. The following is a brief guide to the different states and any operations to be performed.

Needo products have been designed with you in mind. The possibility of tilting the radiator (Fig. 03), in the case of the horizontal model, allows you to easily clean all the parts of the radiator body, keeping your home healthy. We recommend that you follow these indications and procedures very carefully.

How to clean

Before starting to clean the product make sure that the radiator is in stand-by mode and is no longer hot. Then proceed to unhook the radiator by following the indications in Fig. 04. Clean with a clean dry cloth or with special, non-aggressive products. Once cleaning is complete, close the radiator again, making sure that the mechanism locks properly.

How to clean

What not to do (for both models)

Do not clean the radiator when it is switched on. Do not use aggressive products to clean the radiator. Do not clean the radiator with water or wet cloths. Do not scratch the surface of the radiator or use abrasive products.

PrOCEDUrE TO rESET THE POWErBOX

Case 1 – Flashing LED (red/green or green) •

If the powerbox is in this state, keep the button on the powerbox pressed for more than 3 sec. so that the LED

becomes ashing red.

After which, press the button again for more than 3 seconds to reset.

Case2 - LED is not ashing (on or off)•

In this case, just keep the button on the powerbox pressed for more than 3 sec. to reset.

USEFUL INFOrMATION

I can’t complete the initial installation – binding phase•

Perform the powerbox reset procedure (see page 40). If the problem persists, contact the Technical Assistance Service.

My NEEDO stops working•

First of all, check that the batteries are not at and that the radiator is receiving the correct

power supply.

Verify that there is no problem of radio coverage, using the assistance menu | maintenance | radio signal.

Move closer to the radiator if necessary. If the problem is of a different nature, contact the Technical Assistance Service: in any case the radiator can be controlled using the powerbox (see page 36).

Purchasing a new My NEEDO •

Before starting the new and necessary binding procedure (radiator binding) the powerbox network information must be reset: ATTENTION, in this case the reset procedure differs from that shown on page 40 as it is necessary to perform it on each single radiator while the power supply to the others is cut off.

They should only be switched on after all of them have been reset and they should ash red/

green.

Now My NEEDO can be switched on and you can begin the initial installation – binding phase.

One or more My NEEDO units have been purchased •

If you wish to create two separate and isolated Needo networks in the same home, so that each My NEEDO controls different radiators, the binding procedure must be done with one My NEEDO at a time, while keeping the other unit and the radiators (that you don’t want to link to it) without power.

The radiator does not heat up•

Verify that the radiator is receiving the correct power supply and that it is not set to standby mode. If the problem persists, contact the Technical Assistance Service, report any diagnostic messages that appear on the My NEEDO.

Power supply to the radiator was interrupted•

When the mains power supply returns the radiator automatically recognises the connection to the My NEEDO it was previously linked to.

Maximum number of radiators that can be installed •

9 radiators can be installed for each My NEEDO.

Uninstalling radiators•

The product must only be uninstalled by qualied engineers, in compliance with current

legislation. Before starting to uninstall, switch off at the main switch. In the case of models that are heavier than 25 kg, the operation must be carried out by two engineers.

USEFUL INFOrMATION

GUARANTEE

The product has a ve year guarantee for the body and

two years for the powerbox from the date of purchase. This guarantee covers any manufacturing faults. In the

event of modications, the spare parts are guaranteed

for a year. The guarantee is only valid if accompanied by a dated purchase receipt.

El producto está homologado para resistir a las

No apoye ropa húmeda o mojada, no moje el aparato

No se puede colocar ropa húmeda o mojada sobre el radiador.

Se prohíbe además mojar el radiador para limpiarlo.

Manténgase fuera del alcance de los niños

El producto ha sido ideado para ser utilizado con facilidad, sin embargo se aconseja la utilización del producto y de My NEEDO por parte de niños y de personas no aptas sólo bajo la supervisión de un adulto.

No se guinde del aparato ni apoye pesos sobre de él

El modelo horizontal del producto es basculante. El radiador no fue proyectado para soportar el peso de

personas y/u objetos, ni cuando está abierto ni cuando está cerrado. Se prohíbe por lo tanto apoyar pesos,

sentarse o guindarse de él. Las mismas reglas valen también para el modelo vertical.

No altere o modique el producto

El producto ha sido pensado para ser reparado exclusivamente por personal autorizado. No efectúe ninguna operación de mantenimiento o de sustitución de elementos dañados. No pegue adhesivos al radiador. No perfore ni marque el radiador.

Binding: es el procedimiento que permite asociar un radiador a My NEEDO, de manera que

se pueda controlar mediante éste.

Fil Pilote: sistema de control mediante el cable del radiador. Vacaciones: periodo de tiempo seleccionado por el usuario en el que todo el sistema

entra en modalidad stand-by o antiescarcha (opcional).

Party!: modalidad de funcionamiento del radiador que prevé el apágado continuo por

2 horas, independientemente de la temperatura detectada.

Boost: modalidad de funcionamiento del radiador que prevé el encendido continuo por 2

horas, independientemente de la temperatura detectada.

Powerbox: elemento de control del radiador, colocado en la parte baja posterior del radiador

mismo.

Stand-by: estado en el que el radiador no está activado, pero listo para funcionar al mando

del usuario (por medio de My NEEDO o de botón de powerbox).

Set-point: temperatura-objetivo que se desea alcazar y/o mantener.

PRESENTACIÓN PRODUCTO

El radiador eléctrico de diseño NEEDO fue proyectado para calentar ambientes domésticos

y ocinas, y su regulación y control se efectúan por medio de la consola de mando My

NEEDO. El sistema les permite ahorrar sus gastos diarios de manera sencilla y precisa gracias a la nueva tecnología calentadora NEEDO y al exacto control de la calefacción.

INSTALACIÓN

LA GUÍA DE INSTALACIÓN

La instalación del producto ha de ser efectuada exclusivamente por personal profesional

calicado. Los procedimientos para la correcta instalación se encuentran en la Guía de

instalación adjunta a este manual. La Guía debe ser guardada por el comprador junto al

presente manual una vez que haya sido terminada la instalación. En el caso de que la caja no contenga una copia de la Guía de instalación, contacte inmediatamente el Servicio de Asistencia antes de efectuar cualquier operación.

FUNCIONAMIENTO

My NEEDO

La tecnología Needo permite controlar y regular el ambiente doméstico por medio del control remoto My NEEDO. My NEEDO es una console sencilla e innovadora que revoluciona la regulación de su

calefacción; a través de un menú fácil e intuitivo es posible regular todos los aparatos

Needo instalados en su casa. Para la guía a las funciones, les rogamos vuelvan a la Guía del usuario My Needo presente en la caja de su My NEEDO.

İAtención! My NEEDO forma parte integrante del producto Needo y todas las advertencias

en este manual deben entenderse como relativas también a My NEEDO, a excepción de los casos en que se indique explicitamente lo contrario.

UTILIZACIÓN CON MY NEEDO

Los radiadores Needo pueden ser fácilmente

controlados por medio del control remoto My NEEDO.

A tal n es necesario efectuar el procedimiente

de “binding”, que a continuación se explica, la cual

permite la asociación de uno o más radiadores a My

NEEDO.

Primera instalación - fase de binding

1 Compruebe que el radiador esté alimentado. El led de la powerbox parpadea en la modalidad búsqueda de red; 2 Introduzca las baterías en el My NEEDO o conéctelo al puerto USB; 3 My NEEDO pasa a la modalidad primera instalación y pide la conguración de los

parámetros (vea Guía del Usuario My NEEDO);

4 Al presionar Instalar radiador, My NEEDO pasa a la modalidad de espera y aparece en la pantalla el mensaje “En un minuto pulsar botón sobre Powerbox”; En 1 min. vuelva a

presionar el botón de la powerbox; el led empieza a parpadear con luz verde rápida;

5 Si la asociación ha sido efectuada correctamente My NEEDO pide se introduzca el nombre para el radiador (vea Guía del Usuario My NEEDO); 6 El radiador está ahora asociado y puede utilizarse; 7 Para instalar otros radiadores, repita del punto 4 hasta el punto 6 o presione MENU para salir de la instalación.

Instalaciones siguientes

Cuando se instala un radiador nuevo, éste puede asociarse al My NEEDO ya funcionante. 1 Presione MENU; 2 Acceda al menú Asistencia; 3 Seleccione Mantenimiento y presione OK; 4 Repita los puntos de 4 a 6 de primiera instalación para cada radiado nuevo.

UTILIZACIÓN SIN MY NEEDO

Control manual del radiador

Si My NEEDO no está presente o no está funcionando,

el radiador puede ser controlado mediante la modalidad manual a través del botón de la powerbox que se encuentra en la parte baja del radiador mismo (Fig. 01). Presionando este botón es posible seleccione una de las tres modalidades de funcionamiento del radiador. La selección se lleva a cabo de manera cíclica:

Primer encendido del radiador

El radiador, conectado a la corrente por primera vez, entra en la modalidad de “búsqueda red” para conseguir un My NEEDO al que conectarse. Para pasar a la modalidad de control manual, es necesario presionar el botón presente en la powerbox por más de 3 segundos.

De esta manera el radiador entrará en la modalidad de auto-test (el led parpadea con luz roja lenta por 30 seg.) al terminar la cual, pasará automáticamente a la modalidad de

funcionamiento manual.

En caso de avaría o malfuncionamiento de My NEEDO o del radiador, el usuario puede efectuar una primera diagnosis.

avisará del problema eventual. La respuesta del led (Fig. 02) permite entender lo que le está

Las ventajas de los productos Needo

Los productos Needo han sido pensados para Usted. La posibilidad de inclinar el radiador (Fig. 03), en el

caso del modelo horizontal, le permitirá limpiar con

facilidad todas las partes que forma el cuerpo del radiador, manteniendo de esta forma un ambiente sano. Recomendamos observar atentamente las indicaciones y los procedimientos descritos a continuación.

Cómo efectuar las operaciones de limpieza

Antes de cualquier operación de limpieza, asegúrese de que el radiador esté en stand-by y que ya no esté caliente. Siga con desenganchar el radiador según lo indicado in Fig. 04. Limpie con un trapo seco o con productos adecuados no agresivos. Al terminar la limpieza, vuelva a cerrar el radiador asegúrandose de que el mecanismo de cierre haya

funcionado correctamente.

LIMPIEZA MODELO VErTICAL

Cómo efectuar las operaciones de limpieza

Antes de cualquier operación de limpieza, asegúrese de que el radiador esté en stand-by y que ya no esté caliente. Limpie con un trapo seco o con productos adecuados no agresivos.

No limpie el radiador con productos agresivos. No limpie el radiador con agua o con trapos mojados.

No restriegue la supercie del radiador o use productos

Caso 1 - Led parpadeante (rojo/verde o verde)•

Si la powerbox se encuentra en esta condición,

mantenga presionado por más de 3 seg. el botón en la

powerbox para que el led cambie en rojo parpadeante.

Luego, vuelva a presionar el botón por más de 3 seg.

Caso 2 - Led no parpadeante (encendido o •

My NEEDO deja de funcionar •

Por primera cosa, asegúrese de que las baterías no se hayan gastado, y de que el radiador esté alimentado correctamente. Comprube que no haya un problema de cobertura radio, mediante el menú

asistencia | mantenimiento | señal radio. Eventualmente acérquese al radiador.

Si el problema es otro, contacte la asistencia técnica: de todas formas es posible

Controlar el radiador por medio de la powerbox (vea pág. 56).

Compra de un nuevo My NEEDO •

Antes de proceder con las nuevas y necesarias asociaciones (binding de los radiadores) es necesario reinicializar las informaciones de red de las powerbox: CUIDADO, en este caso

el procedimiento de reinicialización diere de lo indicado en la pág. 60 porque se necesita

llevarlo a cabo para cada uno de los radiadores manteniendo los otros sin alimentación.

Sólo después de la reinicialización de todos, es posible encenderlos y deberán parpadear

con luz rojo/verde. Ahora es posible encender My NEEDO y seguir con la primera instalación - fase de binding.

Se han comprado dos o más My NEEDO •

Si se desean crear dos redes Needo separadas y aísladas en un mismo ambiento doméstico, de manera que cada My NEEDO controle sólo algunos radiadores, el procedimiento de binding debe efectuarse con un My NEEDO a la vez, mientras que el otro y los radiadores (que no se quieren conectar a él) quedan sin alimentación.

El radiador no calienta•

Compruebe que el radiador esté correctamente alimentado y que no se encuentre en la modalidad stand-by. Si el problema persiste, contacte la asistencia técnica, comunicando eventuales mensajes de diagnóstico presentes en el My NEEDO.

Faltó la alimentación al radiador•

Al retorno de la tensión de red, el radiador reconoce automáticamente la conexión al

My NEEDO al que había sido asociado antes.

Número máximo de radiadores que se pueden instalar•

Es posible instalar hasta 9 radiadores por cada My NEEDO.

Desinstalación radiador•

La desinstalación del producto debe ser llevada a cabo exclusivamente por técnicos

calicados, según las normativas vigentes. Antes de efectuar la desinstalación, apague el

interruptor principal. En el caso de modelos de peso superior a 25 kg, la desinstalación debe ser efectuada por dos técnicos.

INFOrMACIONES ÚTILES

GARANTÍA

El producto está garantizado por cinco años para el

cuerpo y por dos para la powerbox a partir de la fecha de compra contra defectos de producción.

En caso de modicacines, los recambios están garantizados por un año. La garantía es válida sólo si

se presenta el recibo de compra con fecha.

Prima di utilizzare il prodotto, si raccomanda di leggere attentamente e comprendere quanto segue. I prodotti Needo sono stati progettati per Voi e per i vostri bisogni, ma è necessario ricordare che non sono stati pensati per utilizzi diversi da quelli che verranno presentati più avanti in questo manuale. Qui di seguito vi elenchiamo le principali avvertenze da tenere in considerazione quando si utilizza il prodotto. Vi preghiamo di porre particolare attenzione a quanto segue.

Non toccare il radiatore con mani e piedi bagnati e non installare l’apparecchio all’esterno

Il prodotto è omologato per resistere agli spruzzi d’acqua: ciò nonostante è sempre buona prassi evitare di venirne a contatto con mani e piedi bagnati. Il prodotto è progettato solo per essere utilizzato all’interno delle abitazioni.

Non appoggiare indumenti umidi o bagnati, non bagnare l’apparecchio

Non è possibile posizionare indumenti umidi o bagnati sul radiatore. è altresì vietato bagnare il radiatore nel tentativo di pulirlo. Sul radiatore è riportato il simbolo è: non coprire il radiatore.

Tenere lontano dalla portata dei bambini

Il prodotto è pensato per essere facile da usare, ciò nonostante si consiglia l’utilizzo del prodotto e di My NEEDO da parte di bambini e persone non adatte solo sotto la supervisione di un adulto.

Non appendersi e non appoggiare pesi

La versione orizzontale del prodotto è basculante. Il radiatore non è pensato per sostenere il peso di persone e/o oggetti, né quando è aperto, né quando è chiuso. E’ pertanto vietato appoggiare pesi, sedersi, o appendersi ad esso. Le medesime regole valgono anche per la versione verticale.

Non manomettere o alterare il prodotto

Il prodotto è pensato per essere riparato esclusivamente da personale autorizzato. Non effettuare alcuna operazione di manutenzione e non sostituire elementi danneggiati. Non attaccare adesivi sul radiatore. Non perforare o intagliare il radiatore.

GLOSSArIO

Binding: è la procedura che consente di associare un radiatore a My NEEDO, in modo da

poterlo comandare tramite quest’ultimo.

Fil Pilote: sistema di controllo via cavo del radiatore. Vacanze: periodo di tempo selezionato dall’utente in cui l’intero sistema si mette in modalità

stand-by o antigelo (a scelta).

Party!: modalità di funzionamento del radiatore che prevede lo spegnimento continuato per

2 ore, indipendentemente dalla temperatura rilevata.

Boost: modalità di funzionamento del radiatore che prevede l’accensione continua per 2 ore,

indipendentemente dalla temperatura rilevata.

Powerbox: elemento di controllo del radiatore, posizionato posteriormente nella parte

inferiore del radiatore stesso.

Stand-by: stato in cui il radiatore non è attivo, ma è pronto ad entrare in funzione al

comando dell’utente (tramite My NEEDO o tasto della powerbox).

Set-point: temperatura-obiettivo che si desidera venga raggiunta e/o mantenuta.

PRESENTAZIONE PRODOTTO

Il radiatore elettrico di design NEEDO è stato progettato per riscaldare ambienti

domestici e d’ufcio e la sua regolazione e controllo avviene attraverso la console

di comando My NEEDO. Il sistema ti permette di risparmiare sui tuoi consumi giornalieri in modo semplice e preciso grazie alla innovativa tecnologia riscaldante NEEDO e al preciso controllo della gestione del riscaldamento.

INSTALLAZIONE

LA GUIDA ALL’INSTALLAZIONE

L’installazione del prodotto deve essere eseguita esclusivamente da personale qualicato

e competente. Le procedure per una corretta installazione sono riportate nella Guida

all’installazione allegata a questo manuale. Essa deve essere conservata dall’acquirente

una volta terminata l’installazione, unitamente a questo manuale. Qualora non fosse presente nella confezione una copia della Guida all’installazione, contattare immediatamente il Servizio Assistenza prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione.

FUNZIONAMENTO

My NEEDO

La tecnologia Needo permette di controllare e regolare l’ambiente domestico attraverso l’utilizzo del telecomando My NEEDO. My NEEDO è una console semplice ed innovativa che rivoluziona la gestione del tuo riscaldamento; attraverso un menu facile e intuitivo è possibile gestire tutti gli apparecchi Needo installati nella tua abitazione. Per la guida alle funzioni, ti rimandiamo alla Guida all’uso My NEEDO presente nella confezione del tuo My NEEDO. Attenzione! My NEEDO è parte integrante del prodotto Needo e tutte le avvertenze presenti in questo manuale vanno intese come riferite anche al My NEEDO, salvo il caso in cui vi sia una esplicita indicazione contraria.

UTILIZZO CON MY NEEDO

I radiatori Needo possono essere facilmente controllati attraverso il telecomando My NEEDO. Perché questo sia possibile, è necessario effettuare la procedura di “binding”, qui di seguito riportata, che

permette di associare uno o più radiatori al My NEEDO.

Prima installazione - fase di binding

1 Vericare che il radiatore sia alimentato. Il led della powerbox lampeggia in modalità ricerca rete; 2 Inserire le batterie nel My NEEDO o collegarlo alla porta USB; 3 My NEEDO entra in modalità prima installazione e richiede di impostare i parametri (vedere Guida all’uso My NEEDO); 4 Una volta premuto Installare radiatore, My NEEDO entra in modalità di attesa e compare a schermo il messaggio “ Entro un minuto premere pulsante sul Powerbox”; Entro 1 min. premere una volta il pulsante della powerbox; il led comincia a lampeggiare verde veloce; 5 Se l’associazione è avvenuta in modo corretto My NEEDO chiede di inserire un nome per il radiatore (vedere Guida all’uso My NEEDO); 6 Il radiatore ora è associato e può essere utilizzato; 7 Per installare altri radiatori, ripetere dal punto 4 al punto 6 oppure premere MENU per

uscire dall’installazione.

Installazioni successive

Quando viene installato un nuovo radiatore, questo può essere associato al My NEEDO già in funzione.

1 Premere MENU; 2 Accedere al menu Assistenza; 3 Selezionare Manutenzione e premere OK; 4 Ripetere i punti dal 4 al 6 di prima installazione per ciascun nuovo radiatore.

UTILIZZO SENZA MY NEEDO

Controllo manuale del radiatore

Nel caso in cui My NEEDO sia assente o non funzionante, il radiatore può essere controllato in modalità manuale tramite il tasto presente sulla powerbox situata nella parte bassa del radiatore stesso (Fig. 01). Premendo questo tasto è possibile selezionare una delle tre modalità di funzionamento del radiatore. La selezione avviene in modo ciclico:

Stand-by -> Comfort -> Boost -> Stand-by -> …

Primo avvio del radiatore

Il radiatore, collegato alla corrente per la prima volta, entra nella modalità di “ricerca rete” per individuare un My NEEDO a cui collegarsi. Per passare alla modalità di controllo manuale, è necessario premere il tasto presente sulla powerbox per più di 3 secondi. In questo modo il radiatore entrerà in modalità di auto-test (il led lampeggia rosso lento per 30 sec.) al termine della quale passerà automaticamente nella modalità di funzionamento manuale.

DIAGNOSTICA

In caso di guasto o malfunzionamento di My NEEDO o del radiatore, l’utente può effettuare una prima diagnosi. Il led rosso di My NEEDO lampeggerà e un messaggio apparirà sulla schermata del vostro My NEEDO e vi avviserà dell’eventuale problema. La risposta del led (Fig. 02) permette di capire cosa sta accadendo al vostro radiatore. Di seguito una guida sintetica agli stati e ad eventuali operazioni da compiere.

PULIZIA MODELLO OrIZZONTALE

SISTEMA ANTI-DUST

I vantaggi dei prodotti Needo

I prodotti Needo sono pensati per Voi. La possibilità di inclinare il radiatore (Fig. 03), nel caso del modello orizzontale, vi permetterà di pulire agevolmente il corpo del radiatore in tutte le sue parti, mantenendo l’ambiente sano. Vi raccomandiamo di seguire attentamente le indicazioni e procedure qui esposte.

Come effettuare la pulizia

Prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione di pulizia sul prodotto, accertarsi che il radiatore sia in stand-by e non sia ancora caldo. Procedere poi con lo sganciamento del radiatore seguendo quanto indicato in Fig. 04. Pulire con uno straccio asciutto o con prodotti appositi non aggressivi. Al termine dell’operazione richiudere il radiatore accertandosi che il meccanismo sia correttamente

PULIZIA MODELLO VErTICALE

Come effettuare la pulizia

Prima di effettuare qualsiasi operazione di pulizia sul prodotto, accertarsi che il radiatore sia in stand-by e non sia ancora caldo. Pulire con uno straccio asciutto o con prodotti appositi non aggressivi.

Cosa non fare (per entrambi i modelli)

Non pulire il radiatore quando è acceso. Non pulire il radiatore utilizzando prodotti aggressivi. Non pulire il radiatore utilizzando acqua o stracci bagnati.

Non grattare la supercie del radiatore o usare prodotti

abrasivi.

PrOCEDUrA DI rESET POWErBOX

Caso 1 - Led lampeggiante (rosso/verde o verde)•

Qualora la powerbox si trovi in questa condizione, tenere premuto per oltre 3 sec. il tasto sulla powerbox per fare in modo che il led diventi rosso lampeggiante. Dopo di che, premere nuovamente per oltre 3 sec. il tasto per effettuare il reset.

Caso 2 - Led non lampeggiante (acceso o spento)•

In questo caso, è sufciente tenere premuto per oltre 3

sec. il tasto sulla powerbox per effettuare il reset.

INFOrMAZIONI UTILI

Non riesco ad effettuare la prima installazione - fase di binding•

Effettuare la procedura di reset powerbox (vedi pag. 80). Qualora il problema persista, contattare l’assistenza tecnica.

My NEEDO cessa di funzionare •

Per prima cosa, accertarsi che non siano esaurite le batterie e che il radiatore sia correttamente alimentato.

Vericare che non vi sia un problema di copertura radio, attraverso il menu assistenza | manutenzione | segnale radio. Eventualmente avvicinarsi al radiatore.

Qualora il problema fosse di altra natura, contattare l’assistenza tecnica: è comunque possibile comandare il radiatore tramite la powerbox (vedi pag. 76).

Acquisto di un nuovo My NEEDO •

Prima di procedere alle nuove e necessarie associazioni (binding dei radiatori) è necessario resettare le informazioni di rete delle powerbox: ATTENZIONE, in questo caso la procedura di reset differisce da quanto riportato a pag. 80 perché è necessario eseguirla per ogni singolo radiatore tenendo gli altri non alimentati. Solo dopo averli resettati tutti è possibile accenderli e dovranno lampeggiare rosso/verde. Ora è possibile accendere My NEEDO e procedere alla prima installazione - fase di binding.

Sono stati acquistati due o più My NEEDO •

Se si vogliono creare due reti Needo separate e isolate nello stesso ambiente domestico, in modo tale che ogni My NEEDO comandi solo alcuni radiatori, la procedura di binding deve essere fatta con un My NEEDO alla volta, tenendo l’altro e i radiatori (che non si vogliono collegare ad esso) senza alimentazione.

Il radiatore non scalda•

Vericare che il radiatore sia correttamente alimentato e che non sia impostato nella

modalità stand-by. Se il problema persiste, contattare l’assistenza tecnica, comunicando eventuali messaggi di diagnostica presenti sul My NEEDO.

è mancata l’alimentazione al radiatore•

Al ripristino della tensione di rete, il radiatore riconosce automaticamente la connessione al My NEEDO cui era stato in precedenza associato.

Numero massimo di radiatori che si possono installare•

È possibile installare no a 9 radiatori per ogni My NEEDO.

Disinstallazione radiatore•

La disinstallazione del prodotto deve essere svolta esclusivamente da tecnici qualicati,

in conformità alle normative vigenti. Prima di procedere con la disinstallazione, spegnere l’interruttore principale. Nel caso di modelli di peso superiore ai 25 kg, la disinstallazione deve essere svolta da due tecnici.

INFOrMAZIONI UTILI

GARANZIA

Il prodotto è garantito cinque anni per il corpo e due anni per la powerbox dalla data di acquisto contro

ogni difetto di produzione. In caso di modiche, le parti

di ricambio sono garantite per un anno. La garanzia è valida solo in presenza di una ricevuta d’acquisto datata.

WICHTIGE HINWEISE

ZWECK DES HANDBUCHS UND ALLGEMEINE HINWEISE

Das vorliegende Handbuch gehört zum Produkt und enthält wichtige Informationen für die korrekte Installation, den korrekten Gebrauch und die korrekte Wartung der Heizung Needo. Die Informationen sind auf dem Stand des im Handbuch angegebenen Datums. Eventuelle Aktualisierungen und Änderungen können der Website www.needo.eu entnommen werden.

Die Installation darf AUSSCHLIESSLICH von qualiziertem Personal durchgeführt werden,

das über die entsprechenden Kompetenzen zur Durchführung der Installation verfügt. Bei der Installation müssen geeignetes Werkzeug verwendet und die vor Ort geltenden Sicherheitsvorschriften und Gesetze sowie die im vorliegenden Handbuch enthaltenen Anweisungen beachtet werden. Die Nichtbeachtung der im vorliegenden Handbuch enthaltenen Anweisungen und Vorschriften kann zu Funktionsstörungen und Schäden am Gerät sowie zu Sach- und Personenschäden führen und hat einen sofortigen Verfall vom Garantieanspruch der Firma Eltra Heizelemente GmbH zur Folge (im Folgenden als “Hersteller” bezeichnet). In einigen Ländern erfolgt die Typprüfung mit den Originalteilen des Produktes. Die meisten Unfälle entstehen durch die Nichtbeachtung der grundlegenden Sicherheitsvorschriften und Maßnahmen zur Unfallverhütung. Der Hersteller ist nicht in der Lage, alle Umstände vorherzusehen, in denen es zu möglichen Gefahrensituationen kommen kann. Die Hinweise im vorliegenden Handbuch, in der Installationsanleitung und auf dem Produkt sind daher nicht erschöpfend. Sollten bei den verschiedenen Vorgängen Prozeduren, Werkzeuge oder Verfahren zum Einsatz kommen, die nicht ausdrücklich vom Hersteller empfohlen sind, muss sichergestellt werden, dass die Arbeiten in jedem Fall unter sicheren Bedingungen für das Personal und für alle anderen Personen durchgeführt werden.

Das Produkt ist typgeprüft und unempndlich

gegenüber Wasserspritzern. Es sollte aber in jedem Fall darauf geachtet werden, den Heizkörper nicht mit nassen Händen anzufassen oder mit nassen Füßen zu berühren. Das Produkt ist nur für den Gebrauch in Innenräumen geeignet.

Es dürfen keine feuchten oder nassen Kleidungsstücke über den Heizkörper gehängt werden. Es ist verboten, den Heizkörper bei Saubermachen nass zu machen! Das Symbol Heizkörper weist darauf hin, dass das Abdecken vom Heizkörper verboten ist.

Das Produkt ist sehr anwenderfreundlich. Dennoch sollten das Produkt und MY NEEDO nur unter der Aufsicht eines Erwachsenen von Kindern oder Personen mit Handicap benützt werden.

Nicht an den Heizkörper hängen! Keine schweren Gegenstände auf den Heizkörper legen!

Die waagrechte Version vom Produkt ist kippbar. Der Heizkörper ist nicht darauf ausgelegt, das Gewicht von Personen u/o Gegenständen auszuhalten, weder in der offenen Stellung, noch wenn er geschlossen ist. Es ist deshalb verboten, schwere Gegenstände auf den Heizkörper zu legen, sich auf den Heizkörper zu setzen oder sich an den Heizkörper zu hängen. Die gleichen Vorschriften gelten auch für die senkrechte Version des Produkts.

Es dürfen keine Eingriffe und Veränderungen am Produkt durchgeführt werden

Das Produkt darf ausschließlich von dazu befugtem Personal repariert werden. Das Durchführen von Wartungseingriffen und das Auswechseln von Teilen sind verboten. Keine Aufkleber auf den Heizkörper kleben! Den Heizkörper nicht anbohren oder auf andere Weise beschädigen!

GLOSSAr

Binding: Mit Binding wird die Prozedur bezeichnet, die die Zuordnung eines Heizkörpers zu

MY NEEDO ermöglicht und damit eine Steuerung des Heizkörpers durch MY NEEDO.

Fil Pilote: Mit Fil Pilote wird das Steuersystem vom Heizkörper über Kabel bezeichnet. Urlaub: Mit Urlaub wird ein vom Benutzer eingestellter Zeitraum bezeichnet, in dem das

System auf Standby oder Antifreeze schaltet (nach Wahl des Benutzers).

Party!: Mit Party wird die Betriebsart vom Heizkörper bezeichnet, die das Abschalten vom

Heizkörper für 2 Stunden vorsieht, unabhängig von der ermittelten Raumtemperatur.

Boost: Mit Boost wird die Betriebsart vom Heizkörper bezeichnet, die das Einschalten

vom Heizkörper für 2 Stunden vorsieht, unabhängig von der ermittelten Raumtemperatur.

Powerbox: Mit Powerbox wird die Steuerung des Heizkörpers bezeichnet, die unten an der

Rückseite vom Heizkörper angebracht ist.

Stand-by: Mit Standby wird der Status vom Heizkörper bezeichnet, in dem dieser nicht

eingeschaltet ist, aber betriebsbereit, um sich bei Eingabe des Befehls durch den Benutzer (über MY NEEDO oder an der Taste der Powerbox) einzuschalten.

Set-point: Mit Setpoint wird die Temperatur bezeichnet, die erreicht oder beibehalten werden

soll.

PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNG

Der elektrische Heizkörper von NEEDO wurde für das Heizen von Wohnungen und Büroräumen entwickelt. Die Einstellung und Steuerung des Heizkörpers erfolgt über die Steuerkonsole MY NEEDO. Das System erlaubt dank der innovativen Heiztechnologie NEEDO und einer präzisen Kontrolle des Heizkörperbetriebs auf praktische und genaue Weise eine Senkung vom täglichen Energieverbrauch.

INSTALLATION

INSTALLATIONSANLEITUNG

Das Produkt darf ausschließlich von qualiziertem und kompetentem Fachpersonal installiert

werden. Die Anweisungen für eine korrekte Installation sind in der Installationsanleitung enthalten, die dem vorliegenden Handbuch beiliegt. Die Installationsanleitung muss nach erfolgter Installation des Heizkörpers zusammen mit dem vorliegenden Handbuch aufbewahrt werden. Sollte der Packung keine Installationsanleitung beiliegen, halten Sie vor Beginn der Installation bitte mit dem Kundendienst Rücksprachen.

FUNKTIONSWEISE

My NEEDO

Die Technologie von Needo erlaubt die Kontrolle und Einstellung der Raumtemperatur über die Fernbedienung MY NEEDO. MY NEEDO ist eine einfache und innovative Steuerkonsole, die eine völlig neue Kontrolle der Heizung ermöglicht. Mit einem einfachen und leicht verständlichen Menü können alle Heizkörper von Needo gesteuert werden, die in den Räumlichkeiten installiert sind. Nähere Informationen zur Funktionsweise der Fernbedienung MY NEEDO können dem Bedienungshandbuch MY NEEDO entnommen werden, das MY NEEDO beiliegt. Achtung! MY NEEDO gehört zum Produkt von Needo. Das bedeutet, dass alle im vorliegenden Handbuch enthaltenen Anweisungen auch für die Fernbedienung MY NEEDO Gültigkeit haben, außer in den Fällen, in denen ausdrücklich anderslautende Anweisungen erteilt werden.

GEBrAUCH MIT MY NEEDO

Die Heizkörper Needo können einfach mit der Fernbedienung MY NEEDO kontrolliert werden. Damit die Heizkörper mit der Fernbedienung gesteuert werden können, muss die als Binding bezeichnete Prozedur durchgeführt werden, die unten beschrieben ist. Mit dieser Prozedur werden ein oder mehrere

Heizkörper der Fernbedienung MY NEEDO zugeordnet.

Inbetriebnahme - Binding-Prozedur

1 Sicherstellen, dass der Heizkörper an das Stromnetz angeschlossen ist. Die Kontrollleuchte an der Powerbox blinkt und zeigt an, dass die Suche nach dem Netz läuft; 2 Die Batterien in die Fernbedienung MY NEEDO einlegen oder die Fernbedienung an die USB-Schnittstelle anschließen; 3 MY NEEDO schaltet auf Inbetriebnahme und verlangt die Eingabe der Betriebsparameter (siehe Bedienungshandbuch MY NEEDO); 4 Nachdem die Option “Heizkörper installieren” gedrückt worden ist, schaltet NY NEEDO auf Wartestellung. Auf dem Display wird die Meldung “Innerhalb einer Minute bitte auf den

Knopf Powerbox drücken” angezeigt. Innerhalb von 1 Minute die Taste an der Powerbox

drücken. Die grüne Kontrollleuchte beginnt, schnell zu blinken; 5 Wenn die Zuordnung korrekt erfolgt ist, fragt MY NEEDO die Eingabe eines Namens für den Heizkörper ab (siehe Bedienungshandbuch MY NEEDO); 6 Nachdem der Heizkörper zugeordnet worden ist, kann er benützt werden; 7 Um weitere Heizkörper zu installieren, die Punkte 4 bis 6 wiederholen, oder die Taste

MENÜ drücken, um die Installation zu verlassen.

Weitere Installationen

Wenn ein neuer Heizkörper installiert wird, kann er der bereits vorhandenen Fernbedienung MY NEEDO zugeordnet werden. 1 Die Taste MENÜ drücken; 2 Das Menü Service aufrufen; 3 Die Option Wartung aufrufen und OK drücken;

4 Für jeden neuen Heizkörper die Punkte 4 bis 6 aus dem Abschnitt Inbetriebnahme oben wiederholen.

GEBrAUCH OHNE MY NEEDO

Manuelle Kontrolle vom Heizkörper

Sollte es keine Fernbedienung MY NEEDO geben oder diese nicht funktionieren, kann der Heizkörper auch manuell kontrolliert werden, und zwar mit der Taste, die

sich an der Powerbox unten am Heizkörper bendet

(Abb. 1). Durch Drücken der Taste kann eine der drei Betriebsarten vom Heizkörper ausgewählt werden. Mit jedem Drücken der Taste werden die Optionen in folgender Reihenfolge durchlaufen:

Inbetriebnahme vom Heizkörper

Wenn ein neuer Heizkörper zum ersten Mal angeschlossen wird, schaltet er auf “Netzsuche”, um eine Fernbedienung MY NEEDO zu ermitteln, zu der die Verbindung hergestellt wird. Um den Heizkörper auf die manuelle Betriebsart zu schalten, muss die Taste an der Powerbox länger als 3 Sekunden gedrückt werden. Dadurch schaltet der Heizkörper auf Eigendiagnose (die Kontrollleuchte blinkt 30 Sekunden lang langsam rot). Am Ende der Eigendiagnose schaltet der Heizkörper automatisch auf die manuelle Betriebsart.

DIAGNOSTIK

Bei Defekt oder Funktionsstörung der Fernbedienung MY NEEDO oder des Heizkörpers kann der Benutzer eine erste Diagnose durchführen. Die rote Kontrollleuchte am MY NEEDO blinkt und auf dem Display von MY NEEDO wird eine Meldung angezeigt, die auf die Funktionsstörung hinweist. Anhand der Kontrollleuchte (Abb. 02) kann ermittelt werden, welche Funktionsstörung vorliegt. In der

Tabelle unten sind die häugsten Funktionsstörungen

und die mögliche Abhilfe zusammengestellt.

Die Vorteile der Produkte von Needo

Die Produkte von Needo wurden speziell für die

Benutzer entwickelt. Die waagrechten Modelle lassen

sich kippen (Abb. 3), sodass der Heizkörper problemlos

von allen Seiten sauber gemacht werden kann und für

ein gesundes Raumklima garantiert ist. Die folgenden

Anweisungen müssen beachtet werden.

Reinigung vom Heizkörper

Vor Durchführung von Reinigungsarbeiten

sicherstellen, dass der Heizkörper auf Standby

geschaltet ist und sich abgekühlt hat.

Reinigung vom Heizkörper

Vor Durchführung von Reinigungsarbeiten sicherstellen, dass der Heizkörper auf Standby geschaltet ist und sich abgekühlt hat. Den Heizkörper mit einem trockenen Lappen oder geeigneten, milden Reinigungsmitteln sauber machen.

Achtung! So nicht! (Gilt für beide Modelle)

Den Heizkörper nicht saubermachen, so lange dieser eingeschaltet ist! Zum Saubermachen vom Heizkörper keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel verwenden! Den Heizkörper nicht mit Wasser oder einem nassen Lappen sauber machen!

Fall 1: Die Kontrollleuchte blinkt (rot/grün oder grün)•

Sollte die Kontrollleuchte an der Powerbox blinken, die Taste an der Powerbox länger als 3 Sekunden gedrückt halten, bis die Kontrollleuchte rot blinkt. Dann die Taste nochmals 3 Sekunden gedrückt halten, um den Reset durchzuführen.

Fall 2: Die Kontrollleuchte blinkt nicht (ein oder aus)•

In diesem Fall die Taste an der Powerbox länger als 3 Sekunden gedrückt halten, um den Reset durchzuführen.

FAQ - INFOrMATIONEN

Die Inbetriebnahme und das Binding lassen sich nicht durchführen•

Die Powerbox rückstellen (Reset) (siehe S. 100). Sollte das Problem weiterhin bestehen, bitte den Kundendienst kontaktieren.

My NEEDO funktioniert nicht mehr •

Kontrollieren, ob die Batterien leer sind und der Heizkörper korrekt an das Stromnetz angeschlossen ist. Prüfen, ob es ein Problem mit dem Funksignal gibt, und dazu das Menü Service I Wartung I Radiosignal benützen. Eventuell näher an den Heizkörper herangehen. Sollte das Problem weiterhin bestehen, bitte den Kundendienst kontaktieren. Der Heizkörper kann in jedem Fall auch über die Powerbox am Heizkörper kontrolliert werden (siehe S. 96).

Kauf eines neuen My NEEDO •

Bevor die Prozeduren zur neuen Zuordnung der Heizkörper (Binding) durchgeführt wird, müssen die Netzinformationen der Powerboxen rückgestellt werden. ACHTUNG! Es handelt sich nicht um den Reset, der auf S. 100 beschrieben ist! In diesem Fall muss der Reset an jedem einzelnen Heizkörper durchgeführt werden, während der Strom an den anderen Heizkörpern abgeschaltet ist.
