The maximum numbers of logical processors and virtual processors when using Hyper-V are below
- Windows Server 2008 : 24 logical processors, 4 virtual processors per virtual machine
- Windows Server 2008 R2 : 64 logical processors, 4 virtual processors per virtual machine
- Windows Server 2012 : 24 logical processors, 4 virtual processors per virtual machine
