This unit was developed using the expertise of professional sound engineers and working musicians. You will find that your new NADY MM-242 has superior performance and greater flexibility than any other mini mixers in its price range. FEATURES
• 8 Mono 1/4” inputs with individual volume controls to be assigned to Stereo A and B outputs or Mono'd together and sent to both A and B outputs
• Stereo 1/4” Master outputs with separate Master volume controls, over 25dB of gain, a S/N ratio of 95dB and frequency response from 20Hz-30KHz
• Peak LED's for each group of input channels
• MONO / STEREO mode selector switch
• Heavy-duty steel construction with smooth-turn, ultra-stable pots and high quality jacks
• Power on/off switch with LED indicator, 9VDC powered with either 9V alkaline battery or optional PAD-1 AC/DC external adapter

CONTROLS AND CONNECTIONS

1. CHANNEL INPUTS — 1/4” unbalanced inputs designed for line level inputs.
2. CHANNEL VOLUME CONTROLS — These controls separately adjust the
volumes of each input.
3. PEAK LED’s — These LED indicators will light when the corresponding group of A or B input channels are 3dB below clipping (distortion). Note, the Peak LED's are pre Master Volume.
4. MASTER VOLUME CONTROLS — These controls adjust the volume of the A and B outputs. Each control adjusts all 8 signals when set to Mono mode.
5. MASTER OUTPUTS — A and B 1/4” unbalanced outputs.
6. MODE SELECT — Use this switch to select STEREO or MONO mode. In
STEREO mode, A inputs are mixed to the A output and B inputs are mixed to the B output. In MONO mode, all A and B inputs are mixed together and sent to both A and B outputs which are controlled by the A and B Master Volume controls respectively.
7. POWER SWITCH — Use this switch to turn the mixer ON and OFF
(Note: Before turning on the unit, turn down the Master Volume of the mini mixer and the level controls of equipment connected to the outputs).
8. POWER LED — Lights when powered on.
9. BATTERY COMPARTMENT — For 9V alkaline or rechargeable battery
10. DC INPUT — Input socket for the optional PAD-1 9V AC/DC adapter.
When you use external DC power, the built-in battery power will turn off automatically.
