Prévention des accidents domestiques :
•
La sécurité de cet appareil est conforme aux règles
techniques et aux normes en vigueur.
•
Vérifi ez que la tension du réseau correspond bien à celle
indiquée sur l’appareil (courant alternatif seulement).
•
Compte-tenu de la diversité des normes en vigueur, si
l’appareil est utilisé dans un pays différent de celui où
il a été acheté, faites-le vérifi er par une station service
agréée (voir liste jointe).
•
Assurez-vous que l’installation électrique est conforme
aux normes en vigueur et suffi sante pour alimenter un
appareil de cette puissance.
• Branchez toujours l’appareil sur une prise reliée à la terre.
•
Ne laissez pas le cordon pendre ou toucher les parties
chaudes de l’appareil.
•
Ne rangez pas le cordon ou la prise dans l’appareil entre
les grilles.
•
Ne débranchez pas l’appareil en tirant sur le cordon.
•
N’utilisez qu’une rallonge en bon état, avec une prise de
terre reliée à la terre, et avec un fi l conducteur de section
au moins égale au fi l fourni avec le produit.
•
Afi n d’éviter les chocs électriques, ne plongez jamais le
fi l électrique, la prise de courant ou l’appareil dans l’eau
ou un autre liquide.
•
N’utilisez pas ou n’introduisez pas dans le grille-pain
d’ustensiles en métal qui pourraient provoquer des
courts-circuits (cuillère, couteau…).
• Utilisez un plan de travail stable à l’abri des projections
d’eau et en aucun cas dans une niche de cuisine intégrée.

Ne portez ou ne déplacez pas l’appareil pendant
l’utilisation.
Précautions importantes
Lors de l’utilisation d’appareils électriques, un certain
nombre de règles élémentaires doivent être respectées, en
particulier les suivantes :
A faire :
•
Lisez entièrement le mode d’emploi et suivez attentive-
ment les instructions d’utilisation.
•
L’appareil doit être exclusivement en position debout,
jamais couché, incliné ou à l’envers.
•
Avant chaque utilisation, vérifi ez que le tiroir ramasse
miettes est bien dans son logement.
•
Enlevez régulièrement les miettes de la trappe ou du
tiroir ramasse-miettes.
•
Le bouton de commande du chariot doit être dans la
position haute quand vous branchez ou débranchez
votre appareil.
•
Débranchez l’appareil quand il ne sert pas et avant de le
nettoyer. Attendre qu’il refroidisse pour le nettoyer ou
avant de le ranger.
•
En fi n de cycle, si les tranches de pain restaient coincées
entre les grilles, débranchez, et attendez que l’appareil
refroidisse avant de retirer le pain.
•
Débranchez l’appareil si une anomalie de fonctionne-
ment se produisait.
A ne pas faire :
•
Cet appareil n’est pas destiné à être utilisé par des
enfants où d’autres personnes sans assistance et
supervision si leurs capacités physiques, sensorielles ou
mentales les empêchent d’utiliser l’appareil en toute
sécurité.
•
Les jeunes enfants doivent être sur veillés afi n d e s’assurer
qu’ils ne jouent pas avec l’appareil.
•
Ne laissez jamais l’appareil fonctionner sans surveillance
et p art icul ière ment à chaq ue pr emie r gri llag e ou c hang ement de réglage.
•
N’utilisez pas l’appareil pour tout autre usage que celui
pour lequel il a été conçu.
•
Ne touchez pas les parties métalliques ou chaudes de
l’appareil en cours d’utilisation, utilisez les poignées.
•
N’utilisez pas ou n’introduisez pas dans le grille-pain
d’ustensiles en métal qui pourraient provoquer des
courts-circuits (cuillère, couteau…)
•
N’ajoutez pas au grille-pain des accessoires qui ne sont
pas recommandés par le fabricant car cela peut-être
dangereux.
• Afi n d’éviter les chocs électriques, ne plongez pas dans
l’eau le fi l électrique, la prise de courant ou tout l’appareil.
•
Ne grillez pas de pains susceptibles de fondre (avec gla-
çage) ou de couler dans le toaster, cela pourrait causer
des dommages ou un risque de feu.
•
N’introduisez pas dans l’appareil des trop grosses tran-
ches de pain susceptibles de coincer le mécanisme du
grille-pain.
•
N’utilisez pas l’appareil si :
- celui-ci a un cordon défectueux ou endommagé,
- l’appareil est tombé et présente des détériorations
visibles ou des anomalies de fonctionnement.
Dans chacun de ces cas, l’appareil doit être envoyé au
centre de service après-vente agréé le plus proche, afi n
d’éviter tout danger. Consultez la garantie.
•
N’utilisez l’appareil que dans la maison. Évitez les lieux
humides.
•
Ne posez pas votre grille-pain sur toutes surfaces
chaudes, ni trop près d’un four chaud.
•
Ne pas couvrir l’appareil pendant son fonctionnement.
•
Le pain peut brûler, aussi l’appareil ne doit pas être utilisé
à proximité ou en dessous de rideaux et autres matériaux
combustibles ( étagères, meubles...). L’appareil doit être
utilisé sous surveillance.
•
Ne placez jamais de papier, carton ou plastique dans, sur
ou sous l’appareil.
•
S’il arrivait que certaines parties du produit s’enfl am-
ment, ne tentez jamais de les éteindre avec de l’eau.
Débranchez l’appareil et étouffez les fl ammes avec un
linge humide.
•
Ne tentez jamais d’ enlever le pain lorsque le cycle de
grillage est enclenché.
•
N’utilisez pas le grille-pain comme source de chaleur ou
de séchage.
•
N’utilisez pas le grille-pain pour cuire, griller, réchauffer
ou décongeler des plats surgelés.

To prevent any accidents:

the voltage indicated on the appliance (ac current only).

Given the many standards in effect, if this toaster is used
in a country other than the countr y where it was pur-
chased, have it checked by an approved service centre

Check that the electricity installation is suffi cient to
supply the power required by this appliance.
•
Always plug the toaster into an earthed socket.
•
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of worktop or
come in contact with hot surfaces. Keep out of reach of
children.
•
Do not s tore the cord or the plu g between the sl ots in the
appliance.
•
Do not disconnect the appliance by pulling on the cord.
•
Use ex tension leads whi ch are in good condition, with an
earthed connection, and with a minimum rating of 10A.
•
In ord er to avoid electric shock, do not immerse the co rd,
the plug or the toaster in water or any other liquid.
•
Do not use metal utensils in the toasting mechanism or
slots, this could cause shor t circuits or an electric shock
(spoon, knife...).
• Use on a stable work surface, away from any contact
with water and never use underneath a built-in kitchen
alcove.
•
Do not move or carry the appliance during use.

Important safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed:
Do :
•
Carefully read and follow all the instructions for use.
•
This appliance is not intended for use by children or
other persons without assistance or supervision if their
physical, sensory or mental capabilities prevent them
from using it safely.
•
Chil dren sho uld be supervised to e nsure that they d o not
play with the appliance.
•
The toaster must always be used in the upright position,
never on its side or tilted forwards or backwards.
•
Before each use make sure that the crumb tray is fi tted
correctly.
•
Regularly remove crumbs from the crumb tray.
•
The bread control lever must be in the “Up” position
before plugging in or unplugging the appliance.
•
Unplug the appliance if it shows any working
abnormalities.
•
Unplug from the power socket when not in use during
and before cleaning. Allow to cool down before cleaning
or storing.
•
To disconnect remove the plug from the wall socket
(when the toasting cycle is fi nished).
•
If the bread jams in the slots after toasting and the ele -
ments do not switch off, disconnect the plug immediately and wait for the appliance to cool before attempting
to remove the bread.
•
Bread can burn; therefore do not use this appliance near
any fl ammable materials such as curtains, under shelving
or under wall cupboards.
Do not :
•
The appliance is not intended for use by young children
or inapt persons without close supervision.
•
Young children should be supervised to ensure they do
not play with the appliance.
•
Do not leave the appliance within the reach of children.
•
Do not use outdoors. Avoid humid environments.
•
Do not let the toaster operate unattended, particularly
when toasting for the fi rst time or when settings have
been changed.
•
Do not use the appliance for any other use other than
that for which it was designed.
•
Do not touch the metal parts or hot surfaces of the
appliance when it is working. Use the handles.
•
Oversized foods, metal foil packages, or utensils (spoon,
knife, etc.) must not be inserted into a toaster as they
may cause an electric shock or fi re.
•
Do not use accessor y attachments that are not recom-
mended by the manufacturer as this may be dangerous.
•
To protect yourself against and electrical shock do not
immerse the cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other
liquids.
•
Do not place any sugar coated type of bread in the toas-
ter or anything that may melt or drop into the toaster as
this may cause damage to the toaster or a risk a fi re.
•
Do not try to toast very thick slices of bread that could
become stuck in the toasting slots.
•
Do not use this appliance if:
- it has a damaged cord.
- The applian ce has been dropped a nd has visible damag e
or does not operate properly.
In any of these instances, the appliance must be sent to
your local approved after-sales service centre to avoid
any risk of danger. Refer to the guarantee enclosed.
•
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the worktop or
come into contact with hot surfaces.
•
Do not place on or near a gas burner, electric ring /hob,
or near a heated oven.
•
Do not cover this appliance while in use.
•
Bread can burn, therefore the appliance must not be
used near or below curtains and other combustible
materials such as curtains, drapes or wood (shelving,
cupboards...) it should be attended when in use.
•
Do not put paper towels, cardboard or plastic in, on or
under the toaster.
•
If fl ames were to arise from parts of the toaster, never
attempt to extinguish them with water. Unplug the
appliance and smother the fl ames with a damp cloth.
•
Do not attempt to dislodge food once the toasting cycle
is engaged.
•
Do not use this appliance as a source of heating or
drying.
•
Do not use the toaster for cooking, grilling or defrosting
frozen food other than bread products.
•
Do not use the toaster for toasting bread and reheating
pastries/croissants at the same time.

Bei Verwendung des Geräts in einem Land, in dem es
nicht gekauft wurde, muss es in einem anerkannten
Kundendienstzentrum (siehe beiliegende Liste) über-
prüft werden, um sicher zu gehen, dass das Gerät allen
dort gültigen Normen entspricht.

Versichern Sie sich, dass Ihre elektrische Installation den

Bei der Benutzung von elektrischen Geräten sind einige
Grundregeln zu beachten:

Verwenden Sie nur Verlängerungskabel in gutem Zu-
stand, die über einen geerdeten Stecker verfügen und
deren Durchmesser mindestens ebenso groß sein muss
wie der des Gerätekabels. Verlegen Sie das Verlängerun-
gkabel so, dass niemand darüber stolpern kann.
Zur Vermeidung von Stromschlägen dür fen das Kabel,
der Netzstecker und das Gerät nie in Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten getaucht werden.
Stecken Sie nie Metallobjekte (Löffel, Messer…) in den
Toaster, da dadurch ein Kurzschluss hervorgerufen
werden könnte.
Das Gerät muss stabil und vor Wasserspritzern geschützt
stehen. Fächer von Einbauküchen sind als Standplatz
gänzlich ungeeignet
verschoben werden.
Lesen Sie die Gebrauchsanweisung vollständig durch
und beachten Sie die Bedienungsanweisung genau.
Das Gerät dar f nur in aufrechter Stellung in Betrieb
genommen werden, niemals auf der Seite liegend, schief
stehend oder verkehrt herum.
Versichern Sie sich vor jeder Benutzung, dass sich die
Krümelschublade an ihrem Platz befi ndet.
Entfernen Sie regelmäßig die Krümel aus dem Toasters-
chlitz und der Krümelschublade.
Beim An- und Ausstecken des Geräts muss die Absenk-
taste auf Position “oben” stehen.
Beim Auftreten von Funktionsstörungen muss das Gerät
vom Netz genommen werden.
Nach der Benutzung oder während der Reinigung des
Gerätes muss der Netzstecker gezogen sein. Vor dem
Reinigen und Aufbewahren abkühlen lassen.

Sollten Brotscheiben z wischen den Grillrosten festsitzen,
so muss man das Gerät vor dem Herausziehen der Brotscheiben abkühlen lassen.
Niemals:

geistiger Zustand eine sichere Handhabung des Geräts
nicht zulässt.

feuchten Orten aufstellen.

Lassen Sie das Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt in Betrieb,

Das Gerät darf nur zu den dafür vorgesehenen Zwecken

Toasten Sie ebenfalls keine kleinen Brotstückchen oder
Croutons, da dies das Gerät beschädigen oder es in
Brand setzen könnte.

Stecken Sie keine zu großen Brotscheiben in das
Gerät, die den Mechanismus des Toasters verklemmen
könnten.

Das Gerät darf nicht benutzt werden, wenn:
- das Kabel beschädigt ist,
- das Gerät heruntergefallen ist und dabei sichtbare
Schäden davongetragen hat oder Funktionsstörungen
auftreten.
In diesen Fällen müssen Sie das Gerät zu Ihrer eigenen
Sicherheit bei einem anerkannten Kundendienstzentrum
überprüfen lassen. Lesen Sie die Garantiebedingungen.

Stellen Sie den Toaster nie auf heiße Flächen oder in die
Nähe eines heißen Ofens.

Wenn das Gerät in Betrieb ist, dar f es nicht abgedeckt
werden.
•
Da das Brot anbrennen kann, darf das Gerät nicht in die
Nähe oder unter Vorhänge und andere brennbare Materialien (Regale, Möbel…) gestellt werden. Das Gerät
muss unter Aufsicht betrieben werden.
•
In, auf oder unter dem Gerät darf sich niemals Papier,
Karton oder Plastik befi nden.
•
Falls Teile des Geräts Feuer fangen, versuchen Sie auf
keinen Fall, dieses mit Wasser zu löschen. Stecken Sie
das Gerät aus und ersticken Sie die Flammen mit einem
nassen Tuch.
•
Versuchen Sie nie, das Brot vor Beendung der eingestell-
ten Bräunungszeit aus dem Toaster zu ziehen.
•
Benutzen Sie den Toaster nicht als Wärmequelle oder
als Trockner.
• Der Toaster darf nicht zum Kochen, Grillen, Aufwärmen
oder Auftauen von Tiefkühlprodukten verwendet werden.
•
Benu tzen Sie das Gerät nic ht gleichzeitig zum R östen von
Brot und zum Aufwärmen von Brötchen/ Croissants.
Dieses Gerät ist ausschließlich für den Hausgebrauch
bestimmt. Sein Einsatz zu professionellen Zwecken, nicht
bestimmungsgemäßen oder von der Bedienungsanleitung
abweichenden Verwendung, haben das Erlöschen der
Haftung und der Herstellergarantie zur Folge.
Denken Sie an den Schutz der Umwelt!
Ihr Gerät enthält wertvolle, wiederverwert-

Bitte geben Sie Ihr Gerät zum Entsorgen

Tenendo in considerazione le diverse normative vigenti,

di farlo visionare da un centro assistenza autorizzato
(vedere l’elenco allegato ).

Accertatevi che la presa elettrica sia conforme alle nor-
mative vigenti e che sia in grado di suppor tare la potenza
dell’apparecchio.
•
Collegate sempre l’apparecchio ad una presa dotata di
messa a terra.
•
Non lasciate che il cavo penda o che venga a contatto
con le parti calde dell’apparecchio.
•
Evitate di mettere il cavo o la presa tra le griglie dell’ap-
parecchio.
•
Non scollegate l’apparecchio tirando il cavo.
•
Utilizzate una prolunga in buono stato, con una presa
dotata di messa a terra, e un fi lo conduttore di sezione e
di lunghezza pari a quello fornito in dotazione.
•
Per evitare eventuali shock elet trici, non mettete in
nessun caso il cavo elettrico, la presa o l’apparecchio in
acqua o in qualsiasi altro liquido.
•
Evitate di utilizzare o introdurre nel tostapane utensili
metallici che potrebbero provocare un cortocircuito (cuc-
chiaio, coltello...).
•
Utilizzate un piano di lavoro stabile lontano da schizzi
d’acqua e che non si trovi in un incavo della cucina.
• Evitate di muovere o spostare l’apparecchio mentre è in uso.
Precauzioni importanti
Durante l’utilizzo di apparecchiature elettriche è opportuno osservare le seguenti regole:
Cosa fare:
•
Leggete attentamente e seguite scrupolosamente le
istruzioni per l’uso.
•
L’apparecchio dev’essere sempre in posizione ver ticale,
mai di lato, inclinato o capovolto.
•
Prima di ogni utilizzo, verifi cate che il cassetto raccogli-
briciole si trovi all’interno del suo alloggiamento.
•
Togliete sempre le briciole dal raccoglitore o dal cassetto
raccogli-briciole.
• Quando collegate o scollegate l’apparecchio il pulsante di
comando del carrello dev’essere in posizione sollevata.
• In caso di funzionamento anomalo scollegate l’apparecchio.
•
Scollegate l’apparecchio se non lo utilizzate e prima di
effettuare la pulizia. Fatelo raffreddare prima di pulirlo o
rimetterlo a posto.
•
Al termine del funzionamento, se tra le griglie restano
dei residui di pane, scollegate l’apparecchio e lasciatelo
raffreddare prima di eliminare i residui.
Cosa non fare:
•
Non lasciate l’apparecchio alla portata dei bambini.
•
Questo apparecchio non è destinato all’uso da parte
di bambini o, in caso di mancata sorveglianza, da altre
persone le cui abilità fi siche, sensoriali o mentali non ne
consentano un utilizzo in tutta sicurezza.
•
Sorvegliare i bambini per evitare che giochino con
l’apparecchio.
•
Utilizzate l’apparecchio esclusivamente in casa. Evitate i
luoghi umidi.
•
Non fate mai funzionare l’apparecchio senza alcun
controllo e soprattutto ad ogni prima tostatura o cambio
d’impostazione.
•
Utilizzate l’apparecchio solo ed esclusivamente per l’uso
a cui è preposto.
•
Non toccate le parti metalliche o quelle calde dell’appa-
recchio quando è in funzione. Usate le maniglie.
•
Non aggiungete al tostapane accessori sconsigliati dal
produttore al fi ne di evitare eventuali pericoli.
•
Non cuocete all’interno dell’apparecchio pane che
potrebbe fondersi (con glassatura) o sciogliersi, poichè
potrebbero derivarne danni o rischi di incendio.
•
Non inserite nell’apparecchio fette di pane troppo
grandi che potrebbero far inceppare il meccanismo del
tostapane.
