Skips battery life is expected to be over one year with normal use. The Moto app on your phone monitors Skip, and notifies you when you need to replace the battery.
Note: Skip uses a standard size CR2032 lithium ion coin cell battery.
To replace Skip’s battery:

Skip turns on automatically when the battery door is closed, and beeps to let you know the battery is installed correctly.
