Problem

Auto power off during charging. The issue is exhibited by the unit powering down when a call is made or received, while in low battery condition and during charging. A problem has been identified in charger SPN4940C ( PSM4940C & PSM4940D) from vendor PhiHong, when used with T720

Solution:

R7001 crossovered to capacitor 2113928R03 as shown in the figure below.

Service Action:

1. Measure resistor location R7001

2. If resistor value estimated 5k to 6k , change the capacitor to 0.47uF ( part number : 211928R03)
