MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT: Do not descale the soleplate with descaling products, proprietary cleaning agents or vinegar when flushing out the soleplate.
To clean a coated soleplate
In the unlikely event of any man-made fibre fusing to the soleplate , set the Garment Steam Brush at the 3-dot position and pass it over a clean piece of cotton. This will draw the deposit off the surface.
Do not use scouring powder or solution as this could cause damage to the coating.
To clean the exterior
Allow the Garment Steam Brush to cool and wipe over with a damp cloth and mild detergent, then wipe with a dry cloth.
EMPTYING & STORING
When you have finished ironing or steaming, unplug your Garment Steam Brush. Ensure that the temperature control dial is set at the ‘MIN’ position B, lift up the filler cap and empty any remaining water out of the filling hole J.
Rest the Garment Steam Brush on its rest stand Í to allow it to cool completely I.
Do not store the Garment Steam Brush in the box, but in the storage bag Ë supplied.
IMPORTANT: The flex can be damaged if wound too tightly for storage. Make a loose loop with the flex. The Garment Steam Brush must be cool before winding the flex and storing.
