The Monster MRC002K SMART+ Remote Control
is the world’s first smart remote controller
specifically designed for Windows 10 Home
Theater PCs. Now you can easily control your
Windows 10 HTPC,or other media device, from
the convenience of your sofa. Every aspect of the
MRC002K is designed keeping your convenience
in mind.

Utilizing the latest six-axis gyroscope technology,
the MRC002K allows for precision cursor angles
and acurate motion representation. Detailed
buttons come with support for Windows 10
function shortcut keys while in PC mode. The
MRC002K also features a full QWERTY style
keyboard on the reverse side for full purpose
typing. Switch from task to task with ease, get the
best experience when web-browsing, and stream
all of your favorite shows, all with the MRC002K.

5. WIN+X: Open the advanced menu in the
lower-left corner of the screen.

6. F5: Refresh the current windows or page.

7. WIN+B: Highlight the notification area.

9. Browser: Launching default browser
application.

10. Ctrl + Alt + Del: Opens the task manager.

Re-pairing between the USB receiver and
the MRC002K Remote Control:

The MRC002K remote control has been
pre-paired with the included USB receiver. If it
is necessary to re-pair the two, please refer to
the following steps:

1. On the Front of the Remote, Press and hold
the ENTER/OK and File Explorer keys for 3
seconds.

2. The blue LED indicator light will flash 3
times before illuminating brightly.

3. Plug the USB receiver into a USB port on
your Windws 10 device.

4. The blue LED indicator light will flash 3 times
before turning off when successfully paired.

5. If the re-pairing is unsuccessful the attempt
will automatically end after 30 seconds
Note: The MRC002K and the USB Reciever
must be within 30cm of one another while
attempting to re-pair.

Activating the Gyro-mouse Mode

1. Toggle the Gyro-mouse on/off switch to
activate gyro-mouse function.

2. While gyro-mouse mode is active, the
Enter/OK key will serve as the mouse’s left
click button and the Menu/R key will serve
as the mouse’s right click button.

3. Flipping to the QWERTY keyboard side will
automatically disable gyro-mouse mode.

4.Turning back to the front side of MRC002K,
will reactivate the previous gyro-mouse mode.

5. Turning on the gyro-mouse mode while the
remote control is in TV mode will automatically
switch the remote control to Windows 10 mode.
Alternatively, it will automatically disable
gyro-mouse mode if the TV mode is turned on
after gyro-mouse mode is enabled.

Recalibrating the Sensors

When using the gyro-mouse function, if the
gyro-mouse is out sync, such as moving in an
unspecified direction or is not lining up with
your movements, you can recalibrate the
sensors as follows:

1. Press Left + Right key 3 seconds on the front
of the Remote.

2. The blue LED indicator light will flash 3 times
before illuminating brightly.

3. Place the MRC002K remote on a flat surface
for 10 seconds.

4. The blue LED indicator light will flash 3
additional times before turning off when
successfully re-calibrated.

Adjusting the Cursor Speed (CPI)

When using the gyro-mouse function, if the
cursors movment speed is too fast or too slow,
you can adjust the CPI to alter the movement
speed so that is suits your useage requirments.

To adjust the corsur speed do the following:

On the front of the remote, Press and hold the
ENTER/OK and the Vol+ Buttons (for faster
speeds) or the ENTER/OK and the Vol- Buttons
(for slower speeds) for 3 seconds.

If the blue LED indicator light flashes 3 times and
then turns off, this means that the gyro-mouse's
movwment speed has been successfully
adjusted.

If the cursor speed is already at its slowest (1) or
fastest(4) level, the blue LED indicator light will
flash rapidly 3 times instead, indicating that the
speed is either maxed out or at the minimum it
can go.

The CPI is divided into 4 levels.
The higher the level,the faster is the gyro-mouse
movement speed is.The default is level 2.

How to use the keyboard:

You may press the keys directly to input normal
characters, and if you want to use the extended
keys set, you can do so by pressing and holding
the Fn button first, then pressing the apropriate
key you wish to use, as you would on a
traditional keyboard. The extended key set is
marked on the upper right hand corner of the
normal key set. For example: Pressing the Q
button directly will input the Q character, if you
press and hold the Fn button, then press Q, you
can input the number 1 instead.

TV Learning Function

In TV mode, the MRC002K can be used to
control your TV setup once the TV learning
function is in place. To set up the TV Learning
Function follow these steps below:

1. Press and hold the TV button for 3 seconds
until the red LED indicator light illuminates
brightly.

2. Press the button you wish to learn the new
command on the MRC002K.

3. Place the original remote close to the
MRC002K and keep about 3 cm distance
between the two, then press and hold the button
(the one that you want the MRCK002 to learn)
on the original remote until the LED indicator
light on the MRC002K blinks.

4. If the LED indicator light blinks rapidly 3 times,
the command was learned is successfully. If the
LED blinks slowly 3 times, the learning has failed.
If the learning falis, return to step 3 again.

5. Repeat steps 2 & 3 to learn additional keys.

6. Finally, press the TV button to exit learning
mode, and the red LED indicator light will turn off.

Factory Default Reset

To return to factory default settings follow the
below steps:

1. Press and hold the ENTER/OK and
Play/Pause buttons at the same time for a few
seconds until the blue LED indicator light blinks
once.

2. After a few seconds,the blue LED indicator
light will flash 4 times and turn off, meaning the
MRC002K has been reset to factory settings
successfully.
