IMPACT SENSOR - 2 STAGE The sensor is designed to det ect impacts to t he vehicle such as vi olent glass breakage. It may also be triggered by shock waves produced from loud exhausts and heavy vehic le traffic. I t should not be triggered by normal wind or rocking m ot ions . If the s ensor rec eiv es a l ight i m pact the s iren fas t c hirps for a few s econds as a pre-warning. It sounds fully for 30 seconds if i t det ects a heavy impact. The keys do not deactivat e t he alarm system. If washing the engine bay, cover the si ren wit h a plastic bag to prevent damage. Heat or water damage is not cov ered by the warranty.
ARM CONDITION MEMORY Should the vehicle batt ery be disconnected, the system memorises t he last set positi on of the alarm. If the alarm was disarmed, reconnection does not cause the alarm to sound. If the battery was disconnected whilst armed, reconnection will cause the system to trigger. To cancel, disarm with the remote control. (Vehicle battery disconnection will c ause the opti onal battery back -up siren to s ound - this is t urned off at t he siren with the speci al key provided)
