1. Functional Performance at Its Best
Ultra-short Throw Projection
The issue of presenting in
environments with limited
projection space can now
be eliminated with the new
XD221U-ST. This native XGA
projector is equipped with an
ultra-powerful short-throw lens
that can project an amazing
60-inch diagonal image from
a distance of just 33 inches
from the screen. With such
an amazingly short projection
distance, any concern about
presenters casting a shadow
on the screen is now
eliminated.

Due to a long projection
distance, the instructor is
forced to stand directly

students, the projector light
enters the instructor’s field
of vision. This can blind the
instructor, whose shadow may
also be cast on the screen.
With the projector installed
close to the screen, the
projection light does not get
in the instructor’s eyes even
when directly facing the
students. This proximity also
keeps the instructor’s shadow
off the presentation contents.

Numerous environmentally friendly initiatives
have been integrated in the design and manufacture of the XD221U-ST.

(*3): Lamp life refers to the average time required for brightness to be reduced by half, and not the time
specified in the warranty. Service life may vary widely depending on the environment and conditions,
and whether or not cleaning and other maintenance procedures are followed.

speaker. By using a microphone (sold separately) the presenter's voice is
reproduced loud and clear in real-time. Additionally, the "Audio Mix" feature
