2. Using the Controller

■ Turn on the air conditioner

Press the ON/OFF button for the room whose air conditioner you want to turn on.
The air conditioner will turn on and the operating indicator lamp will be illuminated.

■ Turn off the individual air conditioner

Press the ON/OFF button for the room whose air conditioner you want to turn off.
The air conditioner and operating indicator lamp for that room will both turn off.

■ Turn off all air conditioners

Press the All Rooms OFF button to turn off the air conditioners in all rooms.

Caution

• If the operating indicator lamp blinks repeatedly, there may be a wiring problem with the air conditioner unit. Please
contact the retailer where you purchased the product.

• After pressing a button, please wait about one second before pressing another to start another operation.

• To use the centralized controller, you must have a MA & Contact Terminal Interface (MAC-397IF-E, sold separately) for
each air conditioner unit.
When using the MA & Contact Terminal Interface, the previous air conditioner operating status is stored in memory.
Thus, if you turn on the air conditioner using the centralized controller, it will start up in the same operating mode it
was in the last time it was turned on.
Before using the centralized controller for the first time or for the first time in a long time, first set the air conditioner
to run under your preferred operating conditions (for 10 seconds or longer) using the remote control that originally
came with the unit.

• The ON/OFF button is used to turn the unit on or off.
If you want to turn on the air conditioner, make sure the operation indicator lamp is off before pressing the button.
If you want to turn off the air conditioner, make sure the operation indicator lamp is illuminated before pressing the
button.

• The air conditioners can also be operated using the remote control in each room.
If an air conditioner is turned on in a particular room, the operation indicator lamp for that room will be illuminated on
the centralized controller.

• You may not be able to control the operations of a unit from the centralized controller while the individual remote
controller for that unit is in use.

• When a unit’s individual remote controller and the centralized controller are both in use, the displays shown on the
centralized controller and the individual remote controller may differ.

3. Maintenance

The centralized controller can be cleaned using a damp, soft cloth.

Caution

Do not use benzene or solvents on the controller, as they may damage the unit.

4. Notes

• Do not place the centralized controller in a location with a lot of humidity or dust.

• Do not place the centralized controller near heat generating equipment or in direct sunlight.

• Do not disassemble the controller yourself, as this may cause injury.

2. Gebrauch der Fernbedienung

■ Einschalten der Klimaanlage

Drücken Sie die ON/OFF (EIN/AUS)-Taste für den Raum, dessen Klimaanlage Sie einschalten möchten.
Die Klimaanlage schaltet sich ein, und die Betriebsanzeigelampe geht an.

■ Ausschalten des Einzelgerätes der Klimaanlage

Drücken Sie die ON/OFF (EIN/AUS)-Taste für den Raum, dessen Klimaanlage Sie ausschalten möchten.
Die Klimaanlage und die Betriebsanzeigelampe für diesen Raum schalten sich aus.

■ Ausschalten aller Geräte der Klimaanlage

Zum Ausschalten der Klimaanlagen in allen Räumen drücken Sie die All Rooms OFF (Alle Räume-AUS)-Taste.

Vorsicht

• Wenn die Betriebsanzeigelampe wiederholt blinkt, besteht am Gerät der Klimaanlage möglicherweise ein
Verdrahtungsproblem. Bitte wenden Sie sich an den Fachhändler, bei dem Sie das Gerät gekauft haben.

• Bitte warten Sie nach Drücken einer Taste etwa eine Sekunde, bevor Sie eine weitere Taste zum Starten eines anderen
Betriebsvorgangs betätigen.

• Zum Betrieb der zentralen Fernbedienung benötigen Sie für jedes Gerät der Klimaanlage eine MA & Kontaktklemmen­Schnittstelle (MAC-397IF-E, gesondert erhältlich).
Bei Verwendung der MA & Kontaktklemmen-Schnittstelle wird der vorherige Betriebszustand der Klimaanlage im
Speicher festgehalten. Daher startet beim Anschalten der Klimaanlage mit der zentralen Fernbedienung das Gerät in
der gleichen Betriebsart, in der es sich beim letzten Einschalten befand.
Vor erstmaligem Gebrauch der zentralen Fernbedienung oder vor erstmaligem Gebrauch nach Langzeitunterbrechung
stellen Sie mit der ursprünglich mit dem Gerät gelieferten Fernbedienung zunächst die Klimaanlage für den Lauf
unter den von Ihnen gewünschten Betriebsbedinungen ein (10 Sekunden oder länger).

• Die ON/OFF (EIN/AUS)-Taste dient zum Ein- oder Ausschalten des Gerätes.
Wenn Sie die Klimaanlage einschalten möchten, achten Sie vor Drücken der Taste bitte darauf, dass die Betriebsan­zeigelampe aus ist. Wenn Sie die Klimaanlage ausschalten möchten, achten Sie bitte darauf, dass die Betriebsan­zeigelampe an ist, und drücken Sie dann die Taste.

• Die Geräte der Klimaanlage können auch in jedem Raum mit der Fernbedienung betrieben werden.

Raum auf der zentralen Fernbedienung.

• Sie können unter Umständen die Betriebsabläufe eines bestimmten Gerätes nicht mit der zentralen Fernbedienung
steuern, solange die Einzelfernbedienung für dieses Gerät in Betrieb ist.

• Wenn sowohl die Einzelfernbedienung eines Gerätes als auch die zentrale Fernbedienung in Gebrauch sind, kann es
zu Abweichungen in den Anzeigen auf der zentralen Fernbedienung und der Einzelfernbedienung kommen.

3. Wartung

Die zentrale Fernbedienung kann mit einem feuchten, weichen Lappen gereinigt werden.

Vorsicht

Behandeln Sie die Fernbedienung nicht mit Leichtbenzin oder Lösungsmitteln, da diese das Gerät beschädigen kön-
nen.

4. Hinweis

• Stellen Sie die zentrale Fernbedienung nicht an einem Ort mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit oder starkem Staubaufkommen

auf.

• Stellen Sie die zentrale Fernbedienung nicht neben wärmeerzeugenden Einrichtungen oder in direktem Sonnenlicht

auf.

• Nehmen Sie die Fernbedienung nicht eigenhändig auseinander, da dies zu Verletzungen führen kann.

2. Utilisation de la Commande à distance

■ Mettre le climatiseur en marche

Appuyez sur la touche ON/OFF correspondant à la pièce dans laquelle vous désirez allumer le climatiseur.
Le climatiseur se mettra en marche et le témoin de fonctionnement s’allumera.

■ Eteindre le climatiseur individuel

Appuyez sur la touche ON/OFF correspondant à la pièce dans laquelle vous désirez éteindre le climatiseur.
Le climatiseur et le témoin de fonctionnement de cette pièce s’éteindront.

■ Eteindre tous les climatiseurs

Appuyez sur la touche All Rooms OFF pour éteindre les climatiseurs dans toutes les pièces.

Précaution

• Si le témoin de fonctionnement clignote, ceci peut indiquer un problème de câblage du climatiseur. Veuillez contacter
le détaillant qui vous a vendu l’appareil.

• Après avoir appuyé sur une touche, veuillez patienter une seconde environ avant d’appuyer sur une autre touche
pour lancer l’opération suivante.

• Pour pouvoir utiliser la commande à distance centralisée, vous devez avoir une interface MA & Borne de Contact
(MAC-397IF-E, vendue séparément) pour chaque climatiseur.
Lorsque vous utilisez l’interface MA & Borne de Contact, le statut de fonctionnement précédent du climatiseur est
enregistré dans la mémoire. Ainsi, si vous allumez le climatiseur à l’aide de la commande à distance centralisée, son
mode de fonctionnement sera identique à celui de l’utilisation précédente.
Avant d’utiliser la commande à distance centralisée pour la première fois ou si vous ne l’avez pas utilisée depuis
longtemps, réglez d’abord le climatiseur sur vos conditions de fonctionnement préférées (pendant 10 secondes mini­mum) à l’aide de la télécommande fournie à l’origine avec l’appareil.

• La touche ON/OFF permet d’allumer et d’éteindre l’appareil.
Si vous désirez allumer le climatiseur, veillez à ce que le témoin de fonctionnement soit éteint avant d’appuyer sur la
touche. Si vous désirez éteindre le climatiseur, veillez à ce que le témoin de fonctionnement soit allumé avant d’ap­puyer sur la touche.

• Les climatiseurs peuvent également être commandés à partir de la télécommande de chaque pièce.
Si un climatiseur est allumé dans une certaine pièce, le témoin de fonctionnement de cette pièce s’allumera sur la
commande à distance centralisée.

• Il peut être impossible de contrôler le fonctionnement de l’appareil à partir de la commande à distance centralisée
lorsqu’une télécommande individuelle est utilisée pour cet appareil.

• Lorsqu’une télécommande individuelle et la commande à distance centralisée sont utilisées, l’affichage sur l’écran
de la commande à distance centralisée peut différer de celui sur l’écran de la télécommande individuelle.

3. Entretien

Vous pouvez nettoyer la commande à distance centralisée avec un tissu doux et humide.

Précaution

N’utilisez ni benzène ni solvants sur la commande à distance, ces produits pourraient endommager l’appareil.

4. Remarque

2. Werken met de bediening

■ Inschakelen van de airconditioner

Druk op de knop ON/OFF (AAN/UIT) van de kamer waarvan u de airconditioner wilt inschakelen.
De airconditioner schakelt in en de bedrijfslamp gaat branden.

■ Een individuele airconditioner uitzetten

Druk op de knop ON/OFF (AAN/UIT) van de kamer waarvan u de airconditioner wilt uitschakelen.
De airconditioner van die kamer wordt uitgeschakeld en de bedrijfslamp gaat uit.

■ Alle airconditioners uitzetten

Druk op de knop All Rooms OFF (alle kamers UIT) om de airconditioners in alle kamers uit te schakelen.

Voorzichtig

• Als de bedrijfslamp herhaaldelijk knippert, kan dit liggen aan een bedradingsprobleem van de airconditioner. Raad­pleeg de handelaar bij wie u het product heeft gekocht.

• Wacht na het indrukken van een knop ongeveer een seconde voordat u een andere knop indrukt.

• Om de centrale bediening te kunnen gebruiken moet u over een MA & Contact Terminal Interface (MAC-397IF-E,
afzonderlijk leverbaar) voor elke airconditioner beschikken.
Bij gebruik van een MA & Contact Terminal Interface wordt de eerdere bedrijfsstatus van de airconditioner opgesla­gen in het geheugen. Als u de airconditioner met de centrale bediening inschakelt, start deze dus in dezelfde bedrijfs­modus als waarmee deze de laatste keer werd uitgeschakeld.
Zet eerst de airconditioner met de eigen afstandsbediening in de door u gewenste toestand (10 seconden of langer)
voordat u de centrale bediening voor het eerst of voor het eerst na lange tijd weer inschakelt.

• Met de knop ON/OFF (AAN/UIT) wordt de eenheid in- en uitgeschakeld.
Als u de airconditioner wilt inschakelen, controleer dan eerst of de bedrijfslamp uit is alvorens de knop in te drukken.
Als u de airconditioner wilt uitschakelen, controleer dan eerst of de bedrijfslamp aan is alvorens de knop in te druk­ken.

• De airconditioners kunnen ook in elke kamer met de afstandsbediening worden bediend.
Als er een airconditioner in een kamer wordt ingeschakeld, gaat de bedrijfslamp voor die kamer op de centrale bedie­ning branden.

• De centrale bediening kan een eenheid niet regelen als voor die eenheid de eigen afstandsbediening wordt gebruikt.

• Als de eigen afstandsbediening en de centrale bediening allebei worden gebruikt, kunnen de displays van de bedie­ning en de afstandsbediening verschillen.

3. Onderhoud

De centrale bediening kan worden gereinigd met een vochtige, zachte doek.

Voorzichtig

Gebruik geen benzine of oplosmiddelen voor het reinigen van de bediening; deze kunnen de eenheid beschadigen.

4. Opmerking

• Installeer de centrale bediening niet op een vochtige of stoffige plek.

• Installeer de centrale bediening niet in de buurt van warmte producerende apparatuur of in direct zonlicht.

• Demonteer de bediening niet zelf: dit kan leiden tot letsel.

2. Utilización del controlador

■ Encendido del acondicionador de aire

Pulse el botón ON/OFF de la sala cuyo acondicionador de aire desee encender.
El acondicionador de aire y la luz indicadora de funcionamiento se encenderán.

■ Apagado de un acondicionador de aire independiente

Pulse el botón ON/OFF de la sala cuyo acondicionador de aire desee apagar.
El acondicionador de aire y la luz indicadora de funcionamiento de dicha sala se apagarán.

■ Apagado de todos los acondicionadores de aire

Pulse el botón All Rooms OFF (Apagar todos los acondicionadores) para apagar los acondicionadores de todas las salas.

Cuidado

• Si la luz indicadora de funcionamiento parpadea, es posible que haya un problema de cableado en el acondicionador
de aire. Póngase en contacto con el distribuidor que le vendió el producto.

• Tras pulsar un botón, espere aproximadamente un segundo antes de pulsar otro para ejecutar otra operación.

• Para utilizar el controlador centralizado, debe disponer de una Interfaz de terminal MA & Contact (MAC-397IF-E, se
vende por separado) por cada unidad de acondicionador de aire.
Al utilizar la Interfaz de terminal MA & Contact, el último estado del acondicionador de aire se almacena en memoria.
Así, si enciende el acondicionador de aire con el controlador centralizado, se iniciará en el mismo modo de funciona­miento que la última vez que se encendió.
Antes de utilizar el controlador centralizado por primera vez o después de un largo periodo de tiempo, primero ajuste
el acondicionador de aire para que funcione en las condiciones que desee (durante 10 segundos o más) utilizando el
controlador remoto suministrado originalmente con la unidad.

Si desea encender el acondicionador de aire, antes de pulsar el botón asegúrese de que la luz indicadora de funcio­namiento está apagada. Si desea apagar el acondicionador de aire, antes de pulsar el botón asegúrese de que la luz
indicadora de funcionamiento está encendida.

• Los acondicionadores de aire también se pueden manejar con el controlador remoto de cada sala.
Si se enciende el acondicionador de una sala determinada, la luz indicadora de funcionamiento de dicha sala se
encenderá en el controlador remoto.

• Mientras se esté utilizando el controlador remoto individual de esa unidad, es posible que no pueda controlar su
funcionamiento con el controlador centralizado.

• Si se utilizan al mismo tiempo el controlador remoto de una determinada unidad y el controlador centralizado, es
posible que los indicadores de sus pantallas sean distintos.
