[TRANSPORTATION PRECAUTIONS]
When fumigants that contain halogen materials such as fluo rine, chlorine,
bromine, and iodine are used for disinfectin g and protecting wooden packaging from insects, they cause malf unction when entering our products. Please take necessary precautions to ensur e that remaining materials from fumigant do not enter our products, or treat packaging with methods other than fumigation (heat method). Additionally, disinfect and protect wood from insects before packing produc ts.

1. OVERVIEW
This user's manual describes the USB environmental protection cover of the GOT2000 series (hereinafter referred to as the US B environmental protection cover). The USB environmental protection cover is fo r protection of the USB interface.
The following table shows the USB environmental pr otection cover models and applicable GOTs.

The USB environmental protection cover is us ed to make the USB interface complaint with the protective structure IP67F
*1: The suffix "F" of IP67F is a symbol that indicates protection rate again st oil.
It is described in the Appendix of Japanese Industrial Standard JIS C 0920.

2. SPECIFICATIONS
The following shows the performance specifi cations of the USB environmental protection cover. The general specifications of the USB en vironmental protection cover are the same as those of the GOT. For the general specifications of the GOT, refer to the GOT2000 Series User's Manual (Hardware).

Make sure to securely fix the USB environmental protection cover onto the GOT using fixing screws and tighten the screws in the specified torque of 0.36 N•m to 0.48 N•m. Loose tightening may cause the USB environmental protection cover to drop off and/ or the GOT to fail or malfunction. Overtightening may damage and drop screws and/or the USB environmental protection cover.
When closing the USB environmental protection cover, fix the cover to the GOT by pushing the [PUSH] or [PULL] mark on the latch firmly to comply with the protective structure.
4. INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL
4.1 Installing the USB Environmental Protection Cover
4.1.1 GT25-UCOV, GT25-05UCOV
The installation procedure for the USB environmental protection cover is explained using GT2712.
1) Get up the hinge of the USB environmental protecti on cover.
2) Align the hinge projection of the USB environmental protection cover on the guiding hole of the GOT.
Put a supplied fixing screw through the hinge h ole of the USB environmental
protection cover.

3) Tighten the fixing screw in the specified torque range (0.36 N•m to 0.48 N•m) to
fix the cover to the GOT.
4) When you do not use the USB interface, close the USB environmental protection cover by pushing in the [PUSH] mark on the c over firmly.
5) To use the USB interface, open the USB environmental protection cover by pushing the [PUSH] mark on the cover.
4.1.2 GT21-WUCOV
The installation procedure for the USB environmental protection cover is explained using GT2510-WX.
1) Get up the hinge of the USB environmental protecti on cover.
2) Align the hinge projection of the USB environmental protection cover on the guiding hole of the GOT.
Put a supplied fixing screw through the hinge h ole of the USB environmental
protection cover.

3) Tighten the fixing screw in the specified torque range (0.36 N•m to 0.48 N•m) to
fix the cover to the GOT.
4) When you do not use the USB interface, close the USB environmental protection cover by pushing in the [PULL] mark on t he cover firmly. When you close the USB environmental protection c over, make sure that the latch is fully retracted into the cover body. Otherwise, the USB environmental protection cove r may get damaged.
5) To use the USB interface, unlock the USB environmental protection cover by sliding its latch and then open the cover.
4.2 Removing the USB Environmental Protection Cover
Perform the reverse procedure of installation for removing the USB environmental protection cover.
5. PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
1) When the USB environmental protection cover is closed, the USB interface is IP67F-rated.
In this case, the USB environmental protection c over must be locked into
position by pushing in the [PUSH] mark or [PULL] ma rk firmly.
2) The USB environmental protection cover is a consumable product.
Check the cover periodically. When the cover has damage, heavy soil, a nd
others, replace the cover.
