damp or wet locations. Do not use battery or charger in the presence of
explosive atmospheres (gaseous fumes, dust or ammable materials)
because sparks may be generated when inserting or removing battery,
possibly causing re.
6. Charge in a well ventilated area. Do not block charger vents. Keep them
clear to allow proper ventilation. Do not allow smoking or open ames near
a charging battery. Vented gases may explode.
7. Maintain charger cord. When unplugging charger, pull plug rather than
cord. Never carry charger by its cord. Keep cord from heat, oil and sharp
edges. Make sure cord will not be stepped on, tripped over or subjected to
damage or stress. Do not use char-ger with damaged cord or plug. Have
a damaged charger replaced immediately.

To reduce the risk of re, personal injury, and prod-

inside them. Corrosive or conductive uids, such as seawater,
certain industrial chemicals, and bleach or bleach containing
products, etc., can cause a short circuit.
Do not expose your battery or cordless tools to water or rain, or allow
them to get wet. This could damage the tool and battery. Do not use oil or
solvents to clean or lubricate your battery. The plastic casing will become
brittle and crack, causing a risk of injury.
Store batteries at room temperature away from moisture. Do not store
in damp locations where corrosion of terminals may occur. As with other
battery types, permanent capacity loss can result if the pack is stored for
long periods of time at high temperatures (over 120° F). MILWAUKEE
Li-Ion batteries maintain their charge during storage longer than other
battery types. After about a year of storage, charge the battery as normal.

electrical tape to cover the terminals to prevent the battery from shorting,
which could cause a re or explosion.
The RBRC™ Battery Recycling Seals (see "Symbology") on your batteries
indicate that MILWAUKEE has arranged for the recycling of that battery
with the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation (RBRC). At the end
of your battery's useful life, return the battery to a MILWAUKEE Branch
Oce/Service Center or the participating retailer nearest you. For more
information, visit the RBRC web site at www.rbrc.org.

NOTE: Always close the USB cover when light is not charging to

The indicator light will display the charging status:
Red Pulsing: Charging, 0-49%
Yellow Pulsing: Charging, 50-99%
Green Solid: Charging 100%
Red/Green Flashing: Cold, Faulty or No Battery
Red Solid: Over temperature (too hot)
If the indicator light ashes red and green, check that the battery is
fully seated into the bay. Remove the battery and reinsert. Batteries
outside the normal operating/charging range may not function properly. Allow batteries to warm up/cool down for normal functions to
resume. If problems persist, contact a MILWAUKEE service facility.

blowing with compressed air. Use only mild soap and a damp cloth to
clean the battery and charger, keeping away from all electrical contacts.
Certain cleaning agents and solvents are harmful to plastics and other
insulated parts. Some of these include gasoline, turpentine, lacquer thinner, paint thinner, chlorinated cleaning solvents, ammonia and household
detergents containing ammonia. Never use ammable or combustible
solvents around batteries, charger, or tools.

incendie, des blessures physiques et endommager le produit. Un blocpiles court-circuitera si un objet métallique établit une connexion entre les
contacts positif et négatif du bloc-piles. Mettre le bloc-piles à l’écart de
tout ce qui pourra causer un court-circuit, tel que des pièces de monnaie,
des clés ou des clous dans votre poche.

types de piles pour outils portables. Mettre au rebut votre bloc-piles conformément aux réglementations locales, nationales et fédérales. Contacter
une agence de recyclage dans votre région pour les lieux de recyclage.
Même déchargés, les blocs-piles contiennent un peu d’énergie. Avant la
mise au rebut, utiliser du ruban isolant pour recouvrir les contacts pour
empêcher la mise en court-circuit, laquelle pourrait causer un incendie
ou une explosion.

N’utilisez ni ne chargez que les piles USB
REDLITHIUM™ dans cette lampe rechargeable par USB. D’autres types de piles pourront entraîner des blessures
et dommages.
1. Ouvrez le couvercle de la batterie.

poche et insérez complètement la batterie.

Si le voyant clignote en rouge et en vert, vériez que la batterie
est complètement assise dans la baie. Retirez la batterie et réinsérez- la batterie. Les batteries en dehors de la plage normale de
fonctionnement / charge peuvent ne pas fonctionner correctement.
Laissez les batteries se réchauer / refroidir pour que les fonctions
normales reprennent. Si des problèmes persistent, communiquez
avec un centre de service de MILWAUKEE.

et retirer les piles lorsqu’ils ne sont pas utilisés. Pourtant, aucun dommage
parviendra à la pile si le chargeur et la pile restent toujours branchés.

Nettoyez la poudre et les débris des bouches du chargeur ainsi que les
prises électriques en souant d’air comprimé. N’utilisez que de savon
doux et un chion humide pour nettoyer la pile et le chargeur, en les
tenant loin de toutes les prises électriques. Quelques agents et solvants
de nettoyage sont nocifs pour des plastiques et d’autres parties isolées,
tels que de l’essence, térébenthine, diluant à peinture-laque, diluant à
peinture, solvants de nettoyage chlorés, ammoniaque et détergents à
usage domestique ayant d’ammoniaque. N’utilisez jamais de solvants
inammables ni combustibles près de piles, chargeur ni outils.

1. Guarde estas instrucciones: este manual incluye información impor-
