Learn the front panel Key functions:-

FUNC = Function key
CALL = 5-tone or DTMF per channel
V/M = Scanning
SCAN = Scanning + enter key
SQ/C = FUNC + SQ/C squelch setting
ENTER = Confirming some keys

[B] CALL = Dial last selected address
[C] SET = N/A
[D] DIAL = Select address book per channel

Function Setup

If you program this page as below, you will not experience any problem

Changing of temporary channel

Choose TX power Alarm pin Level

 60W / 45 W = DV-2066 Pin 2 (Max 50mA) setting to trigger transistor to activate relay
 25W / 25W = DV-2135 and DV 2400 Duration of setting after successful decode of 5-tone format or Emergency Call

up & down buttons on top the
microphone you can select the
correct number from the list.

What do you expect the radio to
behave after the receiving the
correct code:

1. None = nothing

2. Beep

3. Beep & respond = Beep + TX

Leave the rest unchanged except
for First Delay especially if use on
a community repeater increase to
500~ 1000 ms.

Please note:

When calling another radio and you would like to identify yourself you need to enter the other party’s number then you own
code In the case of above own number is 77700.

Paging then you enter only the other party number i.e. 77703.

button on the microphone and 5­Tone is program on the channel
“0~99” will appear on the Dot
Matrix screen and by using the
up & down buttons on top the
microphone you can select the
correct number /name from the
list.

Scan Setup

Switch scan mode on

Select “selected (channel) & Talkback”

Leave the rest unchanged

Emergency Setup

this sequence will be repeated 3 times

when RX an emergency call the radio will sound the

alarm tone for 10s and then return back to idle state.

It will also show the full decode number on the dot

the 5-tone sequence must be part of the group.

If you do not enter any

Please note the following will unmute the RX:-

Carrier on RX = no tone detection – For comrep please enable and for CTCSS/DCS setting
CTCSS/DCS will unmute the RX
Optional Signalling is either DTMF/2-tone or 5-Tone selected in here this will ignore
CTCSS/DCS setting
CTCSS/DCS and Optional signal = CTCSS/DCS PLUS Optional signal must be present on RX

No additional display
RSSI = Signal strength 1(poor) ~ 5 (strong) on RX
Signal narrowing (please remember all radios in the system must be set with this function
CTC/DCS is only an indication
Tone is only an indication
Reverse is only an indication
Talk Around is only an indication

Scan will read “Scan Add or Scan Del” depends on scan setting
