Please charge the battery before you use the newly purchased phone. We suggest you to charge the battery for at least 4 hours continuously for the first time.
3. Getting Started
3.1 Insert SIM
1. Switch off the mobile phone and remove the rear cover and

2. Insert the SIM card(s) correctly in the card slot(s) as shown

The Memory Card gives you extra storage capacity for content such as pictures, music and video clips.
Do not remove the memory card while reading or writing to the card. Doing so may cause data corruption on the card or on the phone.
Use only compatible memory cards approved by Micromax. Incompatible cards may damage the slot or corrupt the data stored in the card.

4. How to use Your Phone
4.1 Switch On/OFF
Long Press the End/Power key to switch on and off your phone.
4.2 Lock/Unlock the phone
From the home screen press Left key and then immediately press * to unlock the phone.
To lock, press Left key and then press *.
4.3 Make a Call
Dial a number and press the call key to make a call. You can also call a number from the phonebook, Call logs or messaging.
4.4 Answer/Reject a call
To answer, press the call key. To reject, press the End/Power key.
4.5 Make an International call
From the home screen, long press the * key till + displays on
screen.

Enter the desired international code and then complete the phone number to make the call.
4.6 Send Messages
Menu>Messaging You can compose a new message or reply to existing messages in the list. You can also configure your message preferences from here via message settings.
4.7 Add contacts to Phonebook
Your phonebook stores all your saved contacts for anytime access. Your phonebook data can be stored in your SIM card or your phone memory. You can access your phonebook by going

Menu>Phonebook>Add new contact This feature enables you to add new contacts. You can also save contacts through call logs, messages, dial pad.

5. Notable Features
5.1 Torch
Press the Torch key (refer to layout diagram) to turn on/off the torch.
5.2 Bluetooth
Menu>Connectivity >Bluetooth Turn on Bluetooth to exchange data with other Bluetooth enabled devices.
5.3 Dual SIM Settings
Menu>Settings>Dual SIM Settings With this feature, you can activate SIM 1, SIM 2 or Dual SIM on your phone.
5.4 Auto Redial
Menu>Settings> Call Settings>Advanced settings>Auto Redial Switching this feature on will automatically redial a number.
5.5 Call Time Reminder
Menu> Settings>Call Settings>Advanced settings>Call Time Reminder

You can activate or deactivate call time reminder. This can be on a single or periodic basis. If activated, the phone beeps at the time interval you have set, during a call.
5.6 Answer Mode
Menu> Settings>Call Settings>Advanced settings>Call Answer Mode Allows you to set to any key press answer or headset mode.
5.7 Phone Language
Menu>Settings>Phone Settings>Language You can change the phone language according to your preference.
5.8 Phone Security
Menu>Settings>Security settings> Phone security You can set the password to unlock the phone. Default password is 0000.
5.9 Music Player
Menu> Multimedia>Music Player
The phone comes with an inbuilt music player that plays all your favorite songs stored in the phone memory or memory card.

Menu> Multimedia >Camera
Press the left key in camera mode to choose various settings. Press the Ok key to take photos.
5.11 Image Viewer
Menu> Multimedia >Image Viewer
View images stored in your T-Flash card using the image viewer. Press the left key in to choose various options.
5.12 Video Recorder
Menu> Multimedia >Video Recorder
Record and store videos in your T-Flash card using the video recorder. Press the left key in Video mode to choose various settings/options.
5.13 Video Player
Menu> Multimedia >Video Player
Record and store videos in your T-Flash card using the video Player.

Play your favorite music stored in the t-flash card anytime anywhere.
5.15 Sound Recorder

Use the sound recorder to record sound anytime.
5.16 FM Radio
Menu> Multimedia >FM Radio
You can listen to your favorite FM channels using the inbuilt FM receiver of your phone. In the FM radio interface, use the navigation keys to access the channels or press the Ok key start/stop the radio
5.17 File Manager
Menu> Multimedia>File Manager
Allows you to view and manage files available in your phone or memory card.
Warning: All existing files in the memory card will be deleted after your format the memory card.

5.18 Connect to Internet
For Internet connectivity, you need to perform GPRS setting and Configure WAP.
Perform GPRS setting
You can connect to the Internet via GPRS connection. For this you need to set up a data account.
1. Go to Menu> Connectivity.
2. Select Data Accounts, and select from the list of default data accounts listed by your network provider’s SIM.
By default, your network provider sends the data account and WAP settings via SMS which you need to install, or it comes with your SIM card. You can thus choose from the listed data accounts. If the Data accounts are not listed by default, please contact your network provider for the same.
Perform WAP Setting In case your network provider does not send the WAP settings, you can do WAP settings on your own.
1. Go to Menu> Connectivity>WAP.
2. Enter the required details for each of the listed settings under WAP.
For the manual settings, please contact your network provider.
