1. Insert a memory card, contact area
facing downwards, into the card slot;

2. You will hear a clicking sound when
the memory card is locked in place.
The installation is complete.

Warning: Please safely uninstall or switch off the
device before inserting or removing the memory card.
Otherwise system problems may occur.

Insert or Remove a Memory Card

Make sure the Micro SIM or UIM card's metal contacts
are facing down and its cut-off corner is facing the left.

Warning: Redmi 2 Micro SIM or UIM card is
positioned above the battery.

You need to remove the battery before inserting
or removing the SIM/UIM card.

Insert the Micro SIM or UIM Card

Align the battery's exposed copper contacts with
the battery compartment, and insert the battery
by pressing down gently;
Remove the batter y by pulling outward gently
from the notch at the base of the battery compartment.

To remove your phone's back cover, press down on
the middle of the back cover while pulling up gently
at the notch as indicated.
