MARK WALL/INSTALL WALL BRACKETS
1. Mark wall and drill holes.
Mark wall with an “x” at each point indicated in the drawing. NOTE: If using
provided hardware, be sure to avoid stud locations. Please note:
Measurements are from center-to-center of each “x” mark. Drill all marked locations using a 1/2" drill bit.
2. Install anchors.
Bend metal part of toggle bolt sideways (a) and insert through each 1/2" drilled hole. Use care not to break plastic while pushing through hole. Once
through, be sure metal part is sideways, NOT up and down and flush against back of wall.
Push the plastic tab all the way forward (b) until flush against wall. Break off plastic legs (c).
3. Install wall brackets.
Each post requires two wall brackets (and a center support bracketinstalled at a later time). The wall brackets use the two top and two bottom markings made in step #1 above. Install all wall brackets so the flat side is up with supplied 2" bolts and washers.

POST ASSEMBLY
1. Remove bolts from posts.
Use an adjustable wrench to remove bolt from each end of both posts. Set all four bolts aside for later use.
2. Arrange posts.
Note the grooves in each post. The groove closest to the end (about 1/2") will be the top of the post. Arrange both posts so the top of each post is pointing in the same direction.
3. Assemble shelf supports and center support brackets onto posts.
From top of post, slide a shelf support, a center support bracket, and another shelf support onto post as shown. Slide shelf supports so hooks are up. Be sure each center support bracket has the bent end facing down. Repeat for second post.
4. Attach split sleeves.
Turn posts to find numbers along each groove. Locate grooves which represent “7” and 29. These are recommended shelf locations. (If adjusting shelf locations, allow enough room for all brackets.) Center shelf support over specific groove. Note ridge on inside of each split sleeve. Turn each split sleeve so ridge is toward top of post. Align each split sleeve so the inner ridge fits into the selected groove and snap into place.
5. Secure shelf support onto split sleeve.
Slide shelf support collar over attached split sleeve. Be sure both shelf supports are aligned. Use a hammer and a block of wood to secure shelf support onto split sleeve.

ATTACH POST ASSEMBLY TO WALL BRACKETS
1. Attach post assembly to top wall bracket.
Hold post assembly between one top and bottom set of wall brackets. Align hole in top of post with hole in top wall bracket. Place a bolt through the top wall bracket and into post just enough to hold post in place. Repeat for second post.
2. Secure center support bracket to wall.
Align center support bracket with center anchors. Angle post slightly and secure each center support bracket to wall/anchors with two supplied 2" bolts and washers.
3. Secure post to bottom wall bracket and tighten all bolts.
Align hole in post with hole in bottom wall bracket. Place a bolt through the bottom wall bracket and into post to secure. Repeat for second post. Use an adjustable wrench to tighten ALL four bolts (top and bottom in both posts).
4. Attach shelves.
Place shelf holes over top hooks in shelf supports. If necessary, use block of wood and hammer to move shelf support into proper alignment.
5. Place hole plugs.
Firmly push a hole plug into top of each shelf hole.
