FØR BRUK
Før første gangs bruk bør apparatet
varmes opp i ti minutter med lukkede
varmeplater. Dette fjerner litt lukt som
ofte forekommer første gang du slår på
apparatet . Husk å sørge for tilstrekkelig
ventilasjon.

BRUK
Merk! Det krever trening å steke og rulle
sammen perfekte isvafler. Men øvelse
gjør mester!
1. Lag røren. Se “Oppskrifter”.
2. Smør slippbelegget med litt matolje,
margarin eller smør før bruk.
3. Lukk lokket. Sett støpslet i stikkontak
ten. Den røde kontrollampen lyser, og
apparatet varmes opp.
4. Når den grønne kontrollampen
tennes, har apparatet nådd riktig
temperatur og er klart til bruk.
Merk! Indikatorlampen viser ikke om
isvaffelen er ferdig eller ikke.

5. Hell røre midt på den nederste platen.
6. Lukk lokket og trykk forsiktig ned slik
at røren fordeles jevnt.
7. Kontroller isvaffelen etter ca. 30
sekunder. Hvis den ikke er klar, lukker
du lokket igjen og sjekker hvert tiende
sekund.
8. Når isvaffelen er ferdig stekt, gjør du
følgende:
Trinn 1: Legg isvaffelen raskt på et
rent klede og plasser isvaffelformen
oppå isvaffelen med spissen ca. 3 cm
fra kanten, som vist.
Trinn 2: Løft kledet slik at vaffelen
presses mot isvaffelformen. Slipp
kledet og rull isvaffelformen fremover
til isvaffelen er rullet rundt formen.
Trinn 3: Trykk isvaffelen sammen der
kantene overlapper hverandre. Klem
spissen på isvaffelen sammen slik
at bunnen blir tett. Vent til isvaffelen
stivner og ta deretter ut isvaffelformen.
9. Smør varmeplatene på nytt og hell ny
røre i apparatet.
10. Trekk støpselet ut av kontakten og la
apparatet avkjøles før rengjøring.

OPPSKRIFTER
Tradisjonelle isvafler
Ingredienser:
1 helt egg
1 eggehvite
1/4 ts salt
120 ml sukker
160 ml siktet mel
2 ss mykt smør
Fremgangsmåte:
Pisk egget, eggehviten og saltet luftig.
Tilsett sukker og pisk til røren er lett og
luftig.
Ha i mel og pisk videre.
Til slutt tilsetter du smøret og pisker til
røren er glatt.
Sjokoladeisvafler
Ingredienser:
2 hele egg
1/4 ts salt
120 ml sukker
120 ml siktet mel
30 g mørk sjokolade
2 ss kakaopulver
2 ss mykt smør
1 ts vaniljeessens (om ønskelig)
Smelt smør og sjokolade på svak varme
og bland sammen.
Pisk egget, eggehviten og saltet luftig.
Tilsett sukker og pisk til røren er lett og
luftig.
Rør inn smeltet smør og sjokolade.
Tilsett mel, kakaopulver og vaniljeessens
(hvis ønskelig), og pisk til røren er glatt.
RENGJØRING
Hvis ikke dette er uttrykkelig angitt i
rengjøringsanvisningene nedenfor, kan
ingen av delene til dette apparatet vaskes
i oppvaskmaskin.
Trekk støpselet ut av kontakten og la
apparatet avkjøles med åpne varmeplater
før rengjøring.
Av hensyn til den elektriske sikkerheten
må du aldri bruke vann eller annen væske
på apparatet eller legge apparatet ned i
væske.
Rengjør utsiden av apparatet ved å tørke
det med en fuktig klut.
Platene med slippbelegg kan rengjøres
med en fuktig klut eller en myk børste.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• This appliance may only be used by
children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they
are supervised or have been given
instructions concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children must
not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance must not be
carried out by children without supervision.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out
of reach of children aged less than 8

• Children do not recognise the dan

• Do not immerse the appliance, cord

• In order to comply with safety regulations and to avoid hazards, repairs of
electrical appliances must be carried
out by qualified personnel including
the replacement of the power cord.
• The cord must not be twisted or
wound around the appliance.
• Check regularly that neither cord nor
plug is damaged and do not use if
they are, or if the appliance has been
dropped or damaged in any other
way. If the appliance, cord or plug has
been damaged, have the appliance
inspected and if necessary repaired
by an authorised repairer. Never try to
repair the appliance yourself. Please
contact the store where you bought
the appliance for repairs under the
guarantee. Unauthorised repairs or
modifications to the appliance will
invalidate the guarantee.
• Do not use accessories or spare parts
which do not come from the supplier.
• The appliance must not be used
together with a timer switch or a
separate remote control system.
• Caution! Some parts of this product
can become very hot and cause
burns. Particular attention should be
paid where children and vulnerable
people are present.
• Connect to 230 V, 50 Hz only.
BEFORE USE
Before initial use, the appliance should
be preheated for ten minutes with the lid
closed. This will remove the smell typically encountered when first switching on
the appliance. Please ensure sufficient
ventilation.

USE
Note! It takes practice to bake and roll
perfect waffles. Be patient and keep trying.
1. Prepare the batter. See “Recipes”.
2. Grease the non-stick plates with a
little cooking oil, margarine or butter
before use.
3. Close the lid. Plug in. The red indica
tor light comes on and the appliance
begins to heat up.

4. When the green indicator light comes
on, the appliance has reached the
correct temperature and is ready for
use.
Note! The indicator lights do not indi
-
cate if the waffle is ready or not.
5. Pour the batter into the middle of the
bottom plate.
6. Close the lid and press down gently
so that the batter is evenly distributed.
7. Check the waffle after around 30 sec
onds. If it is not yet ready, close the lid
and check again every 10 seconds.
8. Once the waffle is ready, do as fol
-
lows:
Step 1: Quickly place the waffle on
a clean cloth and place the coneshaped waffle mould on the waffle
with the tip around 3 cm from the
edge as illustrated.
Step 2: Lift the cloth so that the waffle
is pressed against the waffle mould.
Release the cloth and roll the waffle
mould forward until the waffle is
wound around the waffle mould.
Step 3: Press the waffle together
where its edges overlap. Squeeze
the tip of the waffle together so that
it is sealed at the bottom. Wait until
the waffle hardens and then pull the
waffle mould out.
9. Grease the hot plates again and pour
fresh batter into the appliance.
10. Before cleaning, remove the plug
from the wall socket and allow the
appliance to cool down.

RECIPES
Traditional ice cream waffles
Ingredients:
1 whole egg
1 egg white
1/4 tsp salt
120 ml sugar
160 ml flour, sieved
2 tbsp soft butter
Procedure:
Whisk the egg, egg white and salt until
airy. Add the sugar and whisk until the
batter is light and airy.
Add the flour and whisk again.
Finally add the butter and whisk until the
batter is smooth.
Chocolate ice cream waffles
Ingredients:
2 whole eggs
1/4 tsp salt
120 ml sugar
120 ml flour, sieved
30 g dark chocolate
2 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tbsp soft butter
1 tsp vanilla essence (optional)
Melt the butter and chocolate over a low
heat and mix together.
Whisk the egg, egg white and salt until
airy. Add the sugar and whisk until the
batter is light and airy.
Whisk the melted butter and chocolate in.
Add the flour, cocoa powder and vanilla
essence (if required) and whisk until the
batter is smooth.
CLEANING
Unless clearly specified in the below
cleaning instructions, please note that
none of the parts of this appliance are
dishwasher safe.
Before cleaning, remove the plug from
the wall socket and allow the appliance to
cool down with the lid open.
For reasons of electrical safety, never use
water or any other kind of liquid on the
appliance nor immerse it.
Clean the outside of the appliance by wiping with a damp cloth.
The non-stick plates can be cleaned with
a damp cloth or a soft brush.
FOR UNITED KINGDOM ONLY
Plug wiring:
This product is fitted with a BS 1363 13amp plug. If you have to replace the fuse,
only those that are ASTA or BSI approved
to BS1362 and with a rated current of 13
amps should be used. If there is a fuse
cover fitted, this cover must be refitted
after changing the fuse.
If the fuse cover is lost or damaged, the
plug must not be used. You must also
check if the socket outlets in your home fit
with the plug of the appliance.
If the socket outlet in your home does
not fit with the plug, the plug must be
removed and disposed of safely as insertion of the plug into the socket is likely to
cause electric hazard. A replacement plug
should be wired according to following
description.

As the colours of the wires in the mains
lead of this appliance may not correspond

The wire that is coloured Green& Yellow
must be connected to the terminal in the
plug that is marked with the letter E or

The wire that is coloured blue must be
connected to the terminal that is marked

The wire that is couloured brown must be
connected to the terminal that is marked
with the letter L or coloured red.
