Read the instruction manual carefully before using this device, especially the safety instructions, and keep the instruction manual for future use. Should you give this device to another person, it is vital that you also pass on these instructions for use.

•Use the device only according to its intended purpose as specified in the instruction manual.

•The warranty will be invalidated if the device is used for purposes other than those for which it is intended.

•This device is not suitable for pregnant women!

•Weighing only is no problem, but bodyfat analysis should be avoided for children because of the current impulse. This impulse is flowing through the body during the bodyfat measurement process.

•These scales are not suitable for people with pacemakers or other medical implants. The body fat information may be inaccurate in people with diabetes or other medical/physical limitations. The same also applies to very highly trained athletes.

•Do not use the device if it is not working correctly, if it has been dropped or has fallen into water or has been damaged.

Protect the unit against moisture. Keep the scale away from water.

The surface of the scales is slippery when wet. Keep the surface dry.

Risk of slipping!

Do not stand on the scale with wet feet. Do not stand on the scale wearing socks.

Risk of tipping over!

Do not place the scale on an uneven surface. When weighing yourself, do not stand on one side or the edge of the scales.

1 Simply stand on the scales.

Setting the personal data in the scales

The scales can save the data (gender, athletic form, height, age) of 8 people. The values preset in the scales are: Male, 165 cm, 30 years old, kg.

1Press the SET button until the disk space blinks in the display.

2Select the desired disk space using the ▲/▼ buttons.

3Press the SET button to save the selection. Continue accordingly to make the settings for gender, athletic condition, height and age.

4After you have set your personal data, the display shows“0.0”.

5To finish the scales settings, simply stand on the scales.

6The display shows the following measurements:

•Weight

•Proportion body fat

•Proportion body water

•Proportion muscle mass

•Bone mass

•BMR (calory requirement)

•BMI

Connect your scales with your smartphone

The scales and the smartphone must be connected once using Bluetooth®. Please install the current VitaDock+ app and follow the instruction steps given in the following.

2Activate Bluetooth® on your iOS or Android appliance.

3Start the app.

4 Select the“Settings” area in the app.

5 Click there on“My appliances”.

6To set up the connection between the smartphone and scales, press the SET button, select your disk space and stand on the scales.

7Select your scales to pair them with the app.

8In order to be able to use all the functions of your scales, please update the personal settings in the app.

9The measurement data are automatically transfered to and stored by the app.
